Quiet little gem in Docklands
Recommended by a friend, and now I cannot recommend it enough! Delicious and light dumplings, with perfect proportions.
The venue was nice and spacey and perfect for large groups.
10/10
I tried the wanton soup for lunch it was really delicious and healthy with lots of veggies such as brocolli, bokchoy and egg garnishes. My colleague had the same dish on a different day and commented the same. The soup tasted just right not salty or bland. I have also had the chicken & prawn dumplings take away for a meeting and it was all gone within minutes. Will comeback to try the noodle dishes as they look good too!
I’ve given a 4 star as the dumplings here are just downright fantastic. However, I hope my next feedback brings attention for the management to address—— if you’re just after a duck-in / duck-out meal, this is the place to go. Maybe even order a take away instead as the little service that Honey Tang’s front of house provides is a sour, condescending attitude who smirked & ignored us when we tried to wave to her to remind about a pot of tea that we’ve already ordered and paid for. This is when the shop was practically just us two, and another man who have already ordered as well. To the management reading this review, your service needs immense improvement otherwise the Docklands crowd will not put up with this kind of behaviour. Also the sauces and sauce trays need regular cleaning, it is so sticky and dirty and reeks of vinegar stains. The place is beautifully set up, hope it’s going to be a pleasant one to have a meal in next visit.
Came here for a quick Friday night dinner and wasn't disappointed. Everything from the spring onion pancakes and spring rolls to the dumplings and noodles was delicious. Friendly and polite service. Will be back
Lucky to be invited to check out the latest dumpling join in the new business district of melbourne. As the offices move towards docklands it’s great to see more restaurants !
We came here for dinner (yes you can work late and still have dumplings here).
What we had:
Pan fried pork dumplings: juicy and tasty and not too oil which was great. Would loved it if it was a bit crunchier on the bottom though.
Xiao Long Bao (soup dumpling): perfectly thin skin with a tasty soup filling. Watch out for the soup!
Chilli wontons: I don’t usually order this but they were super tasty! The chilli was spicy but flavoursome so don’t forget to dip it in!
Pork fried noodles: Loved that the noodles were not too oily and had good flavour but was slightly let down by the use of bacon and not actually pork.
Had the xiao long bao and the chilli chicken dumplings and they were delicious! It took a while for the order but it was worth the wait! Thanks for the wonderful meal and i will be coming back for more!

Absolutely love the dumplings there! We came here on Sunday night - they’ve just started to open at night.
We started off with jasmine tea and. Peaflower iced tea, comes in purple colour - it was really light and good not too sweet.
The pan fried dumplings we had were crispy on the side, the taste was spot on. The xiao long baos were also really good, the juice inside of the dumplings was amazing. We also like the chilli chicken wonton! A little bit on the spicy side, so its not for the weak hearted. Reasonably priced as well.
We met the owner, he was so nice and really passionate about what he is doing. The staff was really friendly too !
Overall, we think this place totally deserves 5 stars.
I really like this place. Dumplings are always delicious! I understand some of the other reviews: the servings are not huge (which I like but others might not), price is a tad higher than most dumpling places (better quality though) and there were some definite teething issues in terms of wait times. That said, it's a good choice for a small lunch and probably worthy of a little more than its current rating.
My meals have always been absolutely delicious and served in a very timely manner. Prices are excellent and the wine very drinkable. The staff are friendly and efficient and I love the foliage all around the restaurant.
This restaurant is small neat and trendy with surprisingly good dumplings.
They're not your average dumplings, it's like traditional dumplings but has a an extra kick of something i can't put my finger on yet- Makes it so tasty.
and its beautifully presented.
I did enjoy the tea, however I was hoping there was a variety of hot drinks that include coffee or hot chocolate.
Best dumplings I have ever had! Honestly, I know it has only just opened but there needs to be more people supporting this new business as the quality of the food is spectacular. They have a good quality selection of wines as well.
These aren’t your average dumplings - with their delicious fillings made from supreme produce, I will definitely be returning with friends to share a rally enjoyable dining experience.
The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating to dietary needs and the venue has been fitted out with an airy and fresh feeling.
There is a great beer, wine & soft drink selection with lunch specials on offer.
An all round winner for me!
Such a great place-my go to for dumplings! Recommend anyone head here for good dumping times. I love hu-tong but this is definitely up there. Great range of craft beers
Clean and bright place with nice staff. Ordered XLB, which was well presented and filled with good quality pork. No doubt the best XLB I’ve had in Melb. Fried chicken dumplings and chicken wantons were tasty as well. I also like the peaflower tea. Will definitely visit this restaurant again.
Staff was very kind, presentation and quality of food was great and food came out quite fast as well. I wasn't a fan of dumplings before but managed to order 5 plates worth ! Would highly recommend 🤤👍
Clean and fresh environment, tasty food but still a few teething problems. I ordered the $10 bento box for a takeaway lunch. It was tasty and fresh, however there where zero condiments included in the takeaway pack which meant no soy sauce or chilli to dip the dumplings and meat patty into. Unfortunately this turned a potentially delicious meal into a bit of a bland one. Other than that these guys are learning as they go and the trend is upwards.
I enjoyed visiting this new restaurant very much. The setting is modern and relaxed. Great lighting. Dumplings were very tasty and well presented. The variety was superb. It is definitely well worth a visit. A real neighbourhood gem. Do try it! I'm looking forward to returning soon.
Great value for amazing food. Friendly staff and comfy environment. Strongly recommend to the neighborhood. They also do dinners as well!!! very delicious dumplings and wanton. Loved it
Excellent dumpling and bento box, not the usual taste and flavour that you can get from other dumpling place. I like then bento box with perfect portion and good price. Definitely worth the dollar! Will definitely come again!
Ordered the pan fried pork dumplings - nice and crispy on top. I would recommend two serves of dumplings if you’re hungry. I like spicy dumplings, so the staff got me some fresh chilli oil which was really delicious. They are apparently expanding the menu and adding speciality teas. I sampled a purple vanilla tea. Very refreshing for a hot day.
It's only been opened for less than a week, so the menu is pretty basic.
12.8$ for 8 dumplings isn't too bad, considering how amazing they are. I've eaten so many dumplings and wontons before, and by far these take the cake.
Absolutely delicious and already planning to go back for more!
