Maguro Sushi Sashimi - Melbourne - Photo album

I came in on a hot day and the waiter asked me if I would like to wait on an empty table so she could clear a table and seat me closer to the airconditioner. I thought this was really thoughtful. The food was really fresh and the ingredients very high quality. My highlights were the salmon hand roll
I understand that the service was a bit slow during the dinner rush hour. But when i ordered the large SUSHI platter, which they said promised us with 42 pieces of sushi. They came back with a measly plate of 18 sushis (Yes i counted) and the rest were small pieces of sashimi. Went to the staff and
Recently changed ownership. Was previously one of my favourite small Japanese restaurants, but in a recent visit we received very poor quality food. Ramen missing ingredients that were on menu, hardly any meat (was see through in some parts because it was so thin) and was worse than 2min noodles. Ju
The food is really great especially the Fresh Scampi Sushi and Lobster Salad! Each dish is just like a master piece, very delicate look. Service is also very good, I think I will come here again~
Beautiful and fresh sushi. Authentic Japanese restaurant. Friendly staff. It was my first time at Maguro today and it is my new favourite sushi place in Melbourne! Love it!
Average. I feel that Maguro is not bad but not amazing. Like many Japanese restaurants these days, Maguro feels like a chinese take on the cuisine rather than authentic Japanese. The prices and food are okay.
I like the food here. I like The sashimi as it is fresh and the kids love the bone noodle soup. Definitely will come back.
Decent food and variety. Must say the wait staff here are amazing. Great service.
