My local breakfast cafe. The owner is absolutely accomodating of any request and the coffee here is always consistently great. The food is fresh and the prices are very fair. My favourite Southbank breakfast spot! Give it a go.

Boccata Italian Deli is a great option for a quick lunch in the Southbank/Freshwater Place vicinity. Very friendly and accomodating service.
On this occasion the woman in front of me ordered the last cannelloni, so I went with a half order of beef tortellini in a carbonara sauce with a half of spicy chicken.
The tortellini were good, but the spicy chicken was amazing.
Will definitely return.
One of the best cafes in Southbank! Given there are plenty of coffee choices every where you turn along Southbank, I make the extra effort to walk to this place because they do make some of the best coffee going around! They staff are super friendly and the food is really nice, with options of seating upstairs overlooking Freshwater Place or outside.
Great coffee and pasta. I had my first coffee and pasta yesterday from Boccata and I loved both.
The coffee was the best coffee I've had from around Freshwater place and the pasta was hot and tasty.
I will be making Boccata my regular cafe from now on
Good for busy people. I go here when I'm looking for something substantial for lunch and the pasta usually does the trick. It costs around $12, comes in a large serve and keeps me full until home time. It's not the most adventurous cuisine or interesting outfit but it is good at providing hearty food fast to hungry workers in the area.
Great coffee, fast service. This is a great spot for your lunch break if meeting with mates. A wide selection of food, fast and friendly service, and excellent coffee. Fairly priced, and ample seating. It's a haven in the middle of often pretentious or soulless Southbank.
Really good coffee, great fully cooked breakfast menu, tasty hot lunches. Wonderful service. One of southbank's hidden secrets given location off the main strip.
Had the Morroccan Chicken on sweet potatoes and chick peas. Delicious.
I’ve also had the Wednesday Barramundi and a lamb pasta as well as lamb shanks. Not all on the same day.
I had a coffee and pasta yesterday, enjoyed both, great coffee, just the way coffee should be served. The food was also hot and tasty and at a good price.
