Good old fashioned Greek fish n chips.
Old school awesome fish and chips. My husband doesn’t like it because he doesn’t like crispy potato cakes, but I think most people will agree that crispy and crunchy chips are a must! The fish is always fresh and handled with care, great tasting batter. And the price is phenomenally great, would easy pay $80+ for what I paid $50 today. Well worth the trip out from two suburbs over everytime I come here.
I just move to the area and found this hidden Gem, superb fried fish and have been trying many type of fishes that they offer, the chip is nice too. Highly recommend Fish and Chip from a fish and Chip's fan.
Well outside The Dear Luncher's comfort zone in Burwood, this was a bit of a stab in the dark. Turns out the fish is tremendous. Both in size and quality. A very old Strayan feel to this chippy, you get the feeling they're a favourite of the locals. Potato cakes were a bit weird, lots of batter not much potato. Other than that, pretty good.
My fiancé has been going to Angies for over 20years and I'd say would have the same excitement going now then when he was a young boy.
Honest and classic F&C without the fancy fuss (and price).
Grilled flake is HUGE and taste fresh and amazing with a heathy serve of chips.

The best fish and chip shop in the area by a long way. Very consistent! They get busy so we always order early around 5-6pm. Phone orders are the best as you can simply grab your order on arrival.

Obviously new owners. Food was good, no lemon provided with the fish but we improvised with bottled lemon juice. Tomato sauce, you need to make sure you have some in your pantry.

I remember as a small boy not being able to see over the counter on fish and chips Friday to playing Squash across the road on Saturdays and getting Chips & Tater cakes for lunch.
