This was my favourite place to eat on the weekend when i lived in the area. Coffee is tasty and the food was always amazing! Staff are really nice and genuine. My favourite was smashed peas! highly recommend.

Great place for breakfast, coffee or a quick lunch. Smash peas was delicious and service is quick and friendly.

Great coffee, excellent food, super friendly staff!!!

Great environment with caring staff. The owner is very hands on themselves everyday. A fabulous community for meeting, friends catch ups, and spaces for dogs. Try their new menu, they put a lot of thoughts into it. We live opposite the cafe, and we go there everyday.

Our favourite place for almond mocha, with awesome food - both taste and presentation are unbelievable. Try the baked pumpkin (or now the pumpkin smash)! Nice atmosphere and great service, too.

Friendly, good & fast service, good atmosphere- beautiful Larson Earl Grey tea in a pot (5 🌟s*) & fresh savory croissant. They skipped the ham but were happy to add it- great attitude !
Good to be back! Gnocchi is sooooo comforting on a cold Melbourne day !

Good coffee, but breakfast very dry. Judging by the multiple pieces of toast left on plates others felt the same way. Give the punters some butter dudes! Croissant also old and dry.

The scrambled egg I other was so good, even better than the famous restaurant Rustica. the coffee was very creamy, fruity with rich texture. Will definitely come again.

Went here after reading about it and good reviews. Ordered a strong latte and a turmeric soy latte. The strong latte was quite bitter, but it's personal whether you like that. They didn't charge extra for it being strong. The turmeric latte was very bland. Got the mushrooms with an extra poached egg and the tiger prawn and crab omelette. We didn't realise when ordering, but they both came without any toast. The mushroom dish basically was just 4 mushrooms, and they weren't big mushrooms. We ordered some toast to go with it, which made it into a dish, but a very expensive one as the dish was $17, the egg $2 (not expensive for an extra egg I think), and the toast $7, so $26 all up. It tasted nice, but I think $7 for two slices of toast is a bit crazy and a dish that consists of just a couple of mushrooms is just not really enough.

Small place with uninviting interior! Visible kitchen next to the tabes with writing on the tiles. As you eat brunch the smell of fried eggs lingers in the air. Great innovations on the menu items with chilli scrambled eggs on nan bread and a sushi bowl. Delicious food at affordable prices and massive servings. Definitely recommend

Had read good reviews and decided to check this place out.

Disappointed to find we had really underwhelming service. We had to prompt someone to be served after nobody came up to us.

On top of that, the place itself had dirty windows and table surfaces.

They just didn’t seem to be interested and eventually we just had a coffee and left without ordering. We also did not have anyone come back to ask what we wanted to eat after ordering the coffee.

The coffee itself is the only thing stopping it from being a 1 star review. There was just no energy to the place.

Nice place and nice people.
Dog friendly! Ask my coffee in the takeaway cup. Had three sides for my egg on toast, and they were a lot! Bit too much for me.

Great service and atmosphere. The presentation of food is excellent, and the taste of their avo smash is simply amazing. The place is highly recommended

Grabbed a takeaway latte from here. Coffee was nice and temperature was good. Staff were really friendly, will come back sometime for breakfast

Nice place , environment is special . However coffee is a bit light , not strong enough . Also you don't have much variety choices on food . But overall is above Average , good place

When you order a bowl, the elements are strategically placed around the perimeter. Not this time. The peas, beetroot (tinned), grains, tomatoes were mixed up into one complicated mass. The lady at the next table had hers served as it should be. The visual (not good) influences the taste. Then coffee. It was suggested we had a takeaway so we (quiet seniors), could scoot. There were many vacant tables. Forgot it.

Came here many times 🙈

Service 1: nice

Food 1.5: good coffee but the food was alright. A little too sweet.

Atmosphère & décors 1 : clean, homey feel

Have been here a few times, not a bad local but doesn't match others in Prahran. Service has been a bit slow and eggs over cooked. Food is good, but could have some improvements.

Sundays are reserved for brunches which we both look forward. Sometimes with friends and sometimes just each other to spend a nice morning since we both are usually busy on weekdays. This open-air cafe has been on our 'Must Visit' list since we stay quite close to Prahran.

A very friendly and amiable attendant escorted us to our table and in no time we were ready to place our order. Called for Social Bowl with Sticky Chicken, Black Rice with Poached Chicken, Avacado Smash on Toast with Salmon, Berry Smoothie, Cappuccino and Prana Chai Latte. All the three dishes that we ordered were GOOD.... high on freshness, quality and taste.

Berry Smoothie, Cappuccino and Prana Chai Latte were good too, but nothing exceptional about it. Kunnu enjoys having his coffee little slow and by the time food arrived, it had become too cold to drink...probably because it was very cold during that particular day. On requesting to warm his coffee, the very warm and amiable attendant gave a complimentary Cappuccino to him. We were touched by this gesture of hers. In fact, the entire team of Club Social is warm and friendly.

For the price you pay, portions are decent enough but it's the hospitality, quality and taste that gets a thumbs-up.

Definitely returning to try some other stuff of theirs.
BIRCHER QUEEN 👑
I've wanted to try this cafe for a while as their food always looks amazing online and I can safely say my visit today did not disappoint! To start, the staff and service are fantastic - polite, friendly attentive and quick. I ordered the bircher and asked for some granola on the side. The manager was so lovely and bought me a small serving of the whole granola dish to try before my bircher! 10/10 service. Both the granola and bircher were phenomenal. The granola came with a generous serve of coconut yoghurt and had lots of nuts throughout the dish - perfection. The bircher was sweet, thick and creamy, with a generous sprinkle of pistachios on top. The coffee was also really good which is why this cafe is now one of my new favourites! Cannot wait to return next week!

This is a great little place to have a coffee or bite to eat. I first discovered this place because of the GIANT NEON EGG on the wall. Great coffee, great food and great customer service. This place deserves to be 4-5 stars 🍳🍳

> Acai bowl with mango, banana, chia seeds, granola and coconut flakes, & two poached eggs on toast with smashed avo and sticky chicken, & breakfast bowl with sticky chicken without the fried egg <

The piggies decided to go out on a very sunny day and try club social! Servings were very generous and extremely delicious. The service was also very efficient and attentive to our needs. Would definitely come back to try some more delicious items on the menu.

As a big fan of the old Gardiner and Field, we had high expectations for Club Social. Place looks great albeit being smaller than anticipated. Coffee was good. Menu didn't wow though. Ordered the eggs benedict with crab (with a side of bacon). Was pretty delicious and looked great - just wanted more. Friend ordered poached eggs with sides. Not quite up to expectations but still good overall. Will try again.

I went here after seeing a review on Broadsheet. The menu was a little different and a lot of the dishes looked interesting. I tried the 'Nourish' salad which was delicious. Whilst I love salt, I think some may find this dish a little salty; I didn't and for once I didn't have to add any - it would have been too much if I had. My friend said her meal - something with chickpeas - was also delicious.

Service was mostly fine. I was surprised when the girl came to take our dishes; she went to walk away and I called her back to say I'd like a coffee. She asked what I wanted and then turned to walk away again without asking my friend if she wanted one! We called her back...

My only 'complaint' was about the coffee. The cups are very small - I only had 3 mouthfuls and mine was gone. As there was an amount of froth on top it didn't leave much space for the actual coffee. I couldn't see any mugs but next time I go I'll ask for one as the coffee was great!

The manager/owner? was very friendly; he acknowledged us as we arrived and even though he was speaking with a friend on the footpath as we left, he also thanked us for coming.

Awesome cafe with a really interesting menu. I had the nourish bowl which was really nice. Had great chats with the staff as they were as friendly as they come. Really makes a difference. Well done guys.

After hearing so much about this new cafe we had to head down! The menu was so interesting, and the food was delicious. We loved our greens salad with asparagus, bean shoots, egg and feta. Certainly will make another visit here, there's lots to try out on the menu!

Wow weee. Another amazing hit for around this area. Cafes seem to be popping up left right and centre and this is a must. Only small inside but outdoor seating for the sunny days. We were seated straight away and ordered our standard coffee. Long black for me and large flat white for the hubby. Mine was awesome. So full of flavour and perfectly brewed. Perfect for the cold morning. Flat white was good but only downfall it was served in a takeaway cup.... odd, although we were warned before ordering it. I ordered the nourish bowl and added sticky chicken. This was amazing. Smashed peas with garlic and mint infused. Toasted coconut with a lime chilli seasoning 😋 pumpkin, quinoa and bok choy. Best salad. Bowl I have had in a long time. Perfect portion size and full of so many flavours. A taste explosion 💥. Hubby ordered the smashed avo with bacon. Just a stock standard smashed avo but still tasty. Will be stopping by to get takeaway coffees in the future. Staff were lovely and friendly and service was quick. Although I do wonder how they would go when the cafe is at full capacity as their kitchen is VERY small.

Coffee was fantastic and served with a smile but unfortunately haven't eaten here yet although food looks great and menu looks great! Will try soon

This place just recently opened and I was so excited to check it out. I came here with one of my neighbours who I became friends. I ordered the hotcakes and a skinny flatwhite. I must say I love them both! My neighbour wanted to try their single origin coffee but they ran out that day and the owner, I assumed, came to our table and personally apologised. I will come back to check out the other food from their menu!

So glad that this will be the new local. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The coffee was really good. I had the black rice nasi goreng, which was extremely tasty would highly recommend it. Welcome to the neighborhood guys!

We came here on a Sunday morning with a group of 6 and surprisingly did not have to wait too long- roughly 20 minutes. Once seated inside it took a few minutes to get the waitress's attention to grab some water for the table and slightly longer to order food and get it but the coffee's were all pretty yummy. We all mostly got the 'build your own' brekky but I got the hotcakes which were really yummy. The only downer of the day was the fact we were seated next to a young family whose child had a piercing scream that did not stop for about 25 mins, having to sit next to them was really uncomfortable and if we are to come back and be seated next to a toddler again we might have to leave. Other than that, a good meal :)

This place is great! Food has always been good and service is impeccable, I've been here a few times now and it doesn't disappoint. Their Hot chocolates are the best locally too!

Loved the hot cakes!! The addition of lemon curd took it to a whole new level - yum! I'll definitely be going back to try other parts of the menu.

I had brunch with friends at Club Social on Sunday, after waiting for about 45 minutes we were given a table, seems to be getting more the norm to wait for this long! I ordered the hot cakes with mixed berries, pistachios, lemon curd and maple syrup. Although they came out looking very burnt they still tasted quite good. I would have liked there to have maybe been one more, it was just a little small compared to hot cakes I've had elsewhere.
Kate Dougherty
Had brunch at Club Social today and was overall fairly impressed. I ordered the hotcakes with lemon curd, mixed berries, pistachios and maple syrup. The portion size was perfect and the hotcakes were lovely and light. On first impression they looked a bit burnt but they didn't taste burnt at all. I...

Average. The venue is nice but the food really isn't that great. The bacon egg sandwich was hardly a sandwich, undercooked eggs, flooded in salsa making the bread soggy and barely any avocado. Won't be coming back in a hurry. Coffee is nice though.

Great atmosphere, coffee and food.

Had the egg and bacon sandwich but my attempt to describe it won't do it justice.

Great breakfast brunch spot.

5/5 For a fab new place in the hood - great outdoor seating with heaters and blankets - a fresh and inviting interior with a fun fried egg neon sign!

We had the hotcakes - very light with a lemon curd and berries and nuts - fresh and very vibrant on the palate. Looked like art on the plate and perfectly presented.

The bacon sandwich was full of crisp bacon and a fried egg with piccicali on the side of pickled veg. Very fresh and tasty.

Almond milk coffees were also perfect - service 5 star from all the guys here too!
