Hey Schnitz lovers out there do yourself a favour and try the beef schnitzel instead of following the herd of sheep towards the chicken option. IMO vastly superior to the chicken and you get quality beef schnitzel for the same price. Today I ordered the beef schnitzel with spicy crumb in a status quo wrap and I swear they must have changed the make up of that spicy crumb because it sure was hot. The slaw in the status quo is one of my favourite slaws. Wait times today were quite long considering I ordered well outside the peak lunch rush. Still popular despite newbies in the complex.

One of the many problems with Spencer Street Outlet Stores is the limited food options. In fact not a single cafe or food court store above 3.5 on zomato. Clearly this is why I have been the victim of ridiculous queuing times at Schnitz in the past. Today however the queues were down and I only had about a 5 minute wait for my menu choice. Trying to be good so actively looking at the best items on their menu for doing so lead me to the following conclusion... salads here are hiding a crazy amount of calories if you want to include any form of protein. Instead I opted for the snack size status quo bun which came with crumbed pan fried chicken schnitzel, coleslaw and a honey mustard sauce. The turkish bun was soft and being made to order everything was fresh and tasty. Snack size was more than enough. The dining in area around the corner was fairly quiet as well. I have got to take my lunch breaks at 1:30 more often... the afternoon just flew. Easy better than average fast food option.
I can’t ever fault Schnitz, the food is always tasty. I always come back for their Chicken schnitzel and chips deal when I’m looking for something quick yet filling. It can get really busy here during the lunch rush, so the wait for food might take a little longer than other places, but I can overlook this as the food always comes out fresh.
We were doing some baby clothes shopping at Spencer Outlet Centre, and let me tell you, it’s an easy way to work up an appetite. So we went to check out Schnitz in the shopping court. Schnitz serves a variety of schnitzels, salads and parmas, with fries of course! They just refreshed their menu, adding a heap of new vegan and gluten free items.

IF you manage your expectations (it is a food court food after all), you would be very satisfied with the lunch here. I ordered the plain and simple in a buritto wrap and I really couldn't fault my meal. For $11, i had a filling delicious chicken wrap with generous salad fillings. Service was brisk and friendly - perfect for the everyday worker who wants to grab and go their lunch. Will def be back.
good food, chips were great, good location. approachable staff who were friendly. wait times were good during busy times. would go there again
Needed a quick snack, can never go wrong with some chips! They were crispy and fresh 😊 service was also quick which made it good for peak times 👍
These guys do a simple schnitz some justice. Its good, real good. The service here was good. Seating around the back is comfortable and doesnt have that food court feel. But its too expensive. Its fancy chicken schnitzel is it worth $16 for a schnitz sanga and nothing else. Not really.
Great value schnitzels. Service at this branch is quick and efficient.
I didn't realise there was seating just around the corner behind the cashier itself, cute 'enclosure' for Schnitz customers!
My regular orders are: Swiss Schnitz, Fiery Turban,
Cesar Salad with Schnitz Strips (great value salads with a whole schnitzel!)
The garden salad was refreshing and pretty filling. The salad dressing was light and adequate. Chicken Parma was also very good with chips. Fast service was a huge plus.
Stopped by today for lunch and had a basic instinct wrap. It was the first time i ate over there and i must admit the customer service was amazing. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. I got my wrap pretty quick too. And the chicken was succulent. It goes without saying that i will eat over there again and again and will also recommend it to all my mates. Keep up the great work!
Had a Swiss schnitz burger today at Schnitz Dfo spencer. Wow was amazing you could pretty much taste every ingredient in that burger. Fries to die for especially sweet chilli Mayo as recommended by Jorge.
Will come again
We had the si senor and a mini schnitzel with fries inside. They were both delicious. The wait was not very long although the place was busy. Would eat there again.

This is my go to place for lunch every day! I get the same classic chicken wrap every time and its always spot on and cooked perfectly. The staff are so friendly and cheerful!! The store always has a really good vibe whenever I'm there and it's because the staff seem to really get along and enjoy what they do. Good work guys :D
This Melbourne Schnitz store has the best parmies in the world.
A lady out the front gave me a menu and recommend I try the the Parma and Chips, and I couldn't believe how perfect it looked and tasted. If you are in this shopping centre, there is nothing else worth trying Schnitz is the best place to eat this side of town. Will definitely share a photo when I get back home!
we visited melbourne schnitz last month, and I had an american dream hamburger. it was fresh, crunchy and tasty, and the chips the lady recommended we try was amazing. Please bring Schnitz to Cali...
