Decided to pop in to try their bubble egg waffles and we really enjoyed it. They were made fresh to order and it took approximately 5–10 minutes
It came in a nice and handy packaging which makes it easy to eat when youre on the go
Loved the the texture and it had the crunchy bits in the waffle which was nice. They had quite a few flavours and we decided to go with the original and it did not dissapoint

Love the drink flavours. Fav is the Yakult Lemon Green Tea, Avocado Smoothie and the Pudding/Pearl/Jelly Milk Tea. Don’t forget to add more pearls 😋

Be prepared that it might be a long wait as they can only make 2 waffle at once. If you are unlucky you could be there 15-20m.

The bubble waffles here are incredibly delicious. Our favourite is the original flavour.
On the other hand, the drinks are quite average, nothing special.
Love the red bean, pudding and matcha latte from Happy lemon! the red bean and matcha is a great match! plus the pudding texture brings it all to a different level!
I also love their egg waffles - they are made fresh on the spot and very crunchy - i like it with the pearls in it. It is very chewy and almost every 'egg waffle' had a pearl in it.

We try the original bubble waffle and pearl bubble waffle, taste not bad and crispy.
We are happy with the Zomato Gold deals here and we got two extra waffle . Food and drinks are satisfactory. Just hoping the staff can clean the table a bit more often. The place is a bit messy

For sure my favourite place for lemon tea. When you want something refreshing definitely come here. I often order the yakult lemon green tea. It was my first time trying a tea with yakult but was pleasantly surprised considering I get it often now. Their bubble waffles are also so soft on the inside yet so crispy as well.
Honestly my favourite milktea place in Melbourne. ❤️❤️ the Oreo milktea is the best! If you happened to pass by make sure you give it a try 💯
Happy lemon is one of my favourite bubble tea places in the city! Always made with fresh lemons with limited artificial flavouring this is a must for anyone who loves bubble tea

Super love their oreo milk tea & tiramisu salted cheese! It's my daily drink every time i come to Melbourne. However, their other menus are just standard.

Went here after shopping, literally saved my dry throat, and my boyfriend are like crazily amazing.
oreo milk tea with tiramisu salted foam, plus pearls, 70% sugar, no ice, is a hell yeah. you can actually taste the distinctive tiramisu foam, it tastes simultaneously sweet and salty which is actually delicious. they top it with crushed oreo crumbs, and the combination of oreo and tiramisu is a clear winner. i dont recommend the taro balls topping because it tastes just like pearls that have been sitting in the fridge overnight and go hard and yuck. the pearls are soft and chewy, can't fault em. LOVE how happy lemon has livenpay, so you get cash back on your order :))
Had the strawberry cheese tea. Really enjoyable, made with fresh strawberries and nice black tea. My husband got the tiramisu one and really liked it too. Next time though I wouldn’t get a large, it’s super rich!
A weekly stop for us. My favourite is the milk tea with cheese foam. For me this is perfect with no sugar. Sometimes I add pearls to pimp it up. The normal milk tea is also quite good. It is either Gong Cha or Happy Lemon for my Milk tea fix.
I love the green tea with rock salted cheese! The cheese isn’t overwhelming and goes very well with my zero sugar green tea. Worth the long line and wait!

I had tried happy lemon drinks couple of times but it was my first time to try their bubble waffle. I ordered pearl bubble waffle and avocado matcha smoothie.
Pearl bubble waffle was amazing. The puff itself is really good with gooey pearl is a perfect combination.

Strawberry cheese black tea, best fruit cheese tea in Melbourne, they use fresh strawberries, highly recommended, and staff are friendly and nice. I will be back again.
I tried Happy Lemon’s famous lemon green tea drink and also their matcha red bean bubble waffle. The lemon tea drink was amazingly fresh, delicious, and very lemon-y, and the bubble waffle was freshly cooked, not too sweet and had crispy edges. Service was friendly, and if they could keep the area cleaner the ambiance would have been more cozy.
Ordered the fresh honey lemon green tea ($5.70, only comes in regular size) with pearls. It was a great refresher as the lemon and honey balanced each other nicely but still packed a punch with the strong fresh lemon taste. Although it is pricier than the usual cost of bubble tea I would definitely order again as they have unique flavours that are not offered elsewhere (i.e fresh lemon series). Plus the pearls were nice and soft and had a subtle sweetness!

🍩Lizzie enjoyed: they focus a lot on lemon flavoured drinks and they’re all very tasty and refreshing. I personally like their milk tea as it has a good strong tea flavour and the milk is very smooth. The pearls are also very fresh.

One of my favourite place for desserts in Melbourne! Their bubble waffles are to die for. Their waffles are crispy on the outside with soft inside. Definitely have to get the salted cheese jam, they were the best combo. They now offer new flavours, such as oreo, matcha, and mango citrus. My favourite combo is still chocolate bubble waffle with tiramisu salted cheese jam. It was the best!
Tried the Green Tea with Rock Salted Cheese and it was pretty good! The cheese was nice, creamy and salty which balanced out the cool, refreshing tea. Also as you walk into the shop you get a waft the delicious bubble waffle aroma. Definitely need to return to try that too!

Love the Green Tea with the Cheese! Its one of the most popular drinks from happy lemon. Its pretty cheap and taste so good. I will prder the same thing everytime i visit happy lemon. Would be great if they open more counter to reduce the queing time.
The place is very cute. I loved It and would love to be back to try their food and some more drinks! Great place to go after work. The lemon black tea wasn’t too sour, has the right amount of sweetness and it’s refreshing too. I also tried the egg waffles and it tastes great! It was very delicious! Highly recommend.

The green tea that I had wasn't to bad, certainly thrilled by the rock salted cheese foam option. They also have custard as an addition, instead of pearls, which is like herbal jelly in texture but a bit more on the lighter/sweet.
The bubble waffle wasn't too bad either. I might order it again but next time with sauce or the chocolate option.

Very refreshing drinks specially when the weather is hot! I ordered yakult tea with agar, but they gave me aloe vera instead. But nevertheless, it was still a very nice drink.
I like citrus and I’ve walked past this place too many times. You know when you say “I’m going to stop one day?” We’ll I did and I’m really happy that I did.
This place was packed, but the service was excellent. The lady who served me was extremely polite and helpful.
I ordered a lemon slushie hoping that this had the smallest amount of cane sugar, well I was hoping it didn’t have any to be honest.
My drink was ready quite quickly and the lemon flavour was really good. I liked the strong lemon flavour and to my surprise there was some jelly in my drink. They were probably sugar so I’d ask not to have them next time but overall I was really impressed.
Definitely worth a visit as there were a lot of options and they now sell desserts such as bubble

I went there today during lunch time and was surprised to see that it wasn't too busy. There were two girls working, one taking orders and one making orders. I decided to order the yakult lemon green tea, and got a table to sit at while I waited. The yakult lemon green tea is a refreshing blend of the different flavors, and the flavors don't hit you all at once, with each one having its own space for you to enjoy. The first mouthful, the original yakult taste is followed by a strong but not overpowering lemon flavor that ends as a nice refreshing green tea.

Tried their Valentine's special strawberry with cheese tea. The flavour was rich toppings was mouthful as well. The salted cheese really changes the whole idea of tea. On the side I had also ordered the waffles. No premade waffles in this store. They make your waffles in front of you. Very nice thing to watch and enjoy it without worrying what is in it.
Definitely coming back for more bubble tea.

Went with my sister after lunch. Had the lemon honey green tea, the avocado matcha smoothie and the bubble waffle with salted cheese sauce. The honey lemon green tea has a very strong lemon taste, with a decent level of sweetness to counteract the sourness of the lemon. The flavour is like if someone made liquid version lemon pudding, its so yummy. The avocado matcha smoothie has a good avocado flavour, and the matcha flavour isnt overpowering like i thought it would be. The smoothie has a smooth creamy texture and doesnt have the icy texture that most ice blended drinks have. The bubble waffle was really good, the outside texture is crunchy and crispy, while the inside of the bubbles is soft and fluffy. The salted cheese sauce has a ‘whipped’ fluffy texture and isnt too heavy, going really well with the waffle. The inside has some tables so we were able to sit down and chat while we shared the bubble waffle. Overall it was a great experience, suitable for a sit down afternoon tea or a quick drink when shopping in the city.
Came past today and got the milk tea with puff cream and taro balls as well as a bubble waffle with salted cheese sauce. The milk tea with puff cream was really good and the taro balls are softer than the normal pearls and aren’t as filling which was good so I could finish the bubble waffle. The bubble waffle was crispy on the outside with the bubbles being soft and fluffy. The salted cheese sauce was a bit on the saltier side for me but the overall taste compliments each other very well. I will be bringing my friends with me next time.
Came here on Friday during the afternoon and decided to brave the line and crowd that was in the store, and I was not disappointed! Decided to order the milk tea with taro balls, and it was definitely worth the wait. The taro balls are just the right amount of chewy adding a different option to the normal black pearls. I ordered half sugar and it was just right, not too sweet and not too plain. Definitely will come back again to try the bubble waffles another time when i haven't had a big lunch :)

畢竟很難得在墨爾本吃到好吃的雞蛋仔呀!
唯一的小小缺點就是每次排隊的人很多
可是店裏少少的員工永遠看起來很忙 人手不夠的樣子
所以客人等待時間都稍微久了一點
但是好的東西是值得等待的

HIGHLY ADDICTIVE BUBBLE WAFFLES!
It’s quite hard to find decent egg waffles in Melbourne but the ones from Happy Lemon are pretttyy good. I’ve had it at least three or four times now, always made to perfection - crispy on the outside, soft and slightly chewy on the inside.
The only little down side is the waiting time, they always seem a little understaffed despite its popularity (there was always a queue). But I guess good things are worth waiting for!
I have definitely had nicer waffles, but it’s a fun experience and still tastes good. The staff are really friendly and it’s well worth trying once!

I wanted to post to address some of the negative reviews below. I came here because the waffles sounded interesting, and then I saw they had a heap of unusual bubble tea options that is never seen before. At about 6:30pm on a Thursday the store was very full, but the person at the counter helped me to decide whether to get a hot or cold version of the Milk Tea with Puff Cream (basically a milk tea with the cream filling that is put inside of cream puffs in the middle!). I got the cold tea. When I ordered a waffle, she informed me it would be a 20 minute wait. You have to order the sauce of your preference on the side, and it comes with the waffle in a little cup for dipping. A few people left their tables while I waited, so I was able to get a table. They gave me my tea when it was ready and then I waited about 10 more mins for my waffle. The tea was really great, and very different. The cream added a lovely velvety texture to the drink. I probably would have it without the ice next time. The waffle was an amazing texture: crispy on the outside, with a squishy soft texture on the inside. You tear bits off and dip them into the sauce. I got the salted cheese sauce and it tasted like cheesecake! It's a warm sweet creamy texture. I would definitely go back, but I would share the waffle next time: it was probably a bit much to have a tea AND a waffle by myself! 🥤😄
