Favorite Asian fast food for lunch between work or for home take away. Love the fried rice with charsiu and other combinations. Affordable and very filling. Love the taste of the wok.
Not a bad place to have noodle if you are nearby. The noodle may not the best noodle in Melbourne, but it's good enough for the price. If you have the food there, they also provide a very nice chilli oil on the table. You can choose the ingredients too if you feel like it. For the meat, I strongly recommend their chicken over the other meat. It tasted fresher.
Great noodle, a lot of flavor. You can choice between rice and noodle, but basically you have to pick up veggie and meat your self so they will cook for your choice. Reasonable price and they open until night now.

Still holds its own compared to noodle franchises. While most dishes do taste pretty similar, but they are fresher than noodle box offerings and the staff are super friendly, my go to here is the seafood mee goreng doused in hot sauce
This place never let us down. Food is cheap, quick and tasty. When we have no idea what to have we would come here, quickly eat, and leave with satisfaction. The only problem is even there are so many options to choose, they pretty much all taste very similar.
Great. Best noddle shop in town
Best noodles in south melbourne by far! So cheap, great value and taste.
Mixed Vietnamese spring rolls and number 18. Meal easily shared btw 2, costing $21, excellent value, hubby and I love it for an easy cant be bothered cooking night!
15 years on and still my favourite. First review on urban spoon and where better to start than noodle world where we have been going for over 10 years. Started at number 1 on the menu and worked my way through. Now settled for mee goreng and rice paper rolls as the standard comfort food for any night of the week. Wouldn't say the menu choices are truly authentic as I have had better pad Thai and char kway teow elsewhere, but once you found your favourite mix, you'll be hooked. I know I am going to get lots or criticism, but the rolls are better than Roll'd. Thinks its the sauce ...love them!
Fast and delicious. Only a few minutes to wait for a generous serving of delicious nutritious food. I'll be back
The best food, great value, fresh and fast
Noodle world never disappoints! Their won-ton noodle soup is outta this world!
I had the Malaysian seafood fried rice and it was tasty, prawns and calamari perfectly cooked. Friendly service. Serving is huge
Better than average.. Been eating here for years, better than average noodle box style eatery. Big eat in serves with a smile. Laksa is worth a try too.
It’s cold, dark and miserable and you’re on your way home from a long day…. what could be better than noodles in a box!!?? Glowing in the dark you can pop in 7 days a week and get a super fast msg-free dinner from one of the ‘wok-stars’!!! There is plenty to choose from on the menu , Vietnamese Noodles, Malaysian Hokkien Mee, Singapore Fried Noodles, Chinese Wonton Soup and Thai Tom Yum! The guys are super friendly, the woks are hot and all the ingredients look fresh and colourful! Number 6 is a favourite! Better known as Wok Tossed Viet kuai teow is rice noodle stick with wok tossed shrimp, BBQ pork, egg, carrots, onions, celery, Asian Chives, bean shoots, spring onions and crushed peanuts! YUM!!!! It seems like I have barely sat down and my little box of super hot lovely smelling noodles are ready to go and I skip off into the night satisfied dinner will be wonderful tonight!! And are they? Oh yes they are amazing! Can’t wait to go back for dinner next week!!
Great place for a quick takeaway work lunch. Their opening times are not consistent however, on my last visit they opened 12.45pm which is much later than advertised on the shop window (11am).
The food is great though and very reasonably priced.
Okay, so, I really wanted to give a good review because the lady there who served me was really lovely.
The dim sims were yum. The noodles were okay. I asked for something with noodle and vegetables and meat. She suggested combination noodle. Look, it was nice. There just wasn’t much of the vegetables and I wasn’t all that impressed.
I would give it another go so I’m giving 4 stars.
We ordered two types of noodle. One is malaysian noodle, the other one is fried noodles. I kinda forgot which one's which. Taste good and fresh. I will be back to try the fried rice.
Nice place, about 30 types of veggies and meat are there in plates, you either pick whatever you want, or just refer to the menu and they'll cook it for you. The food tastes good, just make sure to pick the right sauce, you can ask them to reduce the oil or the dressing as well.
The food is fresh cooked and the ladies who operate this place are nice. The place looks a bit worn out that's why I gave it 4 stars but it has nothing less from a good street food restaurant. Recommended.
Outstanding noodles, regardless the type, fast take away, good dine in area, low prices, and an absurd number of options, over thirty five different types, including Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese, Malaysian and Mongolian dishes, I admit it’s not the most beautiful shop, but at the end the taste is what we’re looking for, and they have the best noodles in south Melbourne.
I love the vegetarian mi goreng noodles here. I have tried at Prahran as well but not good as here.
Run by two women. Love their food. My favourite one is chicken fried rice. You can choose the veggies that you would like to add.
The food was awesome!!! Singapore Noodles and Coconut Steamed Rice were very tasty and full of fresh vegetables! Price is really great two. Dinner for two with left overs for $30. Can not go wrong.
