Review Burgernomics - Melbourne

Handre Louw
Burgers are really good, and one of few places that does lamb and a pork/beef mix burger separately on the menu. We had the double trouble and bulldog and would highly recommend the burgers. The owner also came over for a chinwag, and which gives that personal touch.

My favourite new burger joint. Went with the family for some burgers, cheesy fries, and milkshakes and it didn't disappoint. The burgers are fantastic. Great tasting, super fresh, and you (somehow) feel great after you've eaten your favourite burgery food! The yam milkshake was also amazingly good and super unique. The owners are also super lovely and chatting to them made the whole experience of dining-in wonderful. We'll definately be back!

The first time I came into this restaurant I was blown away with the incredible service that was provided! Even under the pressure of a busy kitchen, we were immediately made to feel warm and welcomed. The staff were nothing but patient and kind as we took some time ordering, which was only because we had such difficulty choosing between the burgers as they all sounded so delicious and unique! The second visit to this restaurant was again an amazing experience and I highly recommend Burgernomics if you're looking for top quality food and hospitality, thanks! Outback burger and Bulgolgi burger

This burger was amazing, i’ve been wanting to come here for over a year and today was the day. The staff are nice and welcoming and provided excellent service. The burger was packed with delicious, fresh ingredients and the chips were to die for. I am definitely coming back for another great time at Burgernomics Braybrook. Make sure you bring your mates for a blast!

Amazing burgers! Soft warm buns and generous patties. We were all happy with our scrumptious choices. Try the yam shake! Norm and Sharon were very friendly and the food was prompt.

THIS is how burgers should taste! I've been a regular at this place for the last few years and it NEVER disappoints but today was something special when I tried 'The Majestic' for the first time and it was absolutely amazing! Do yourselves a favour and give this place a try if you love a great burger 🍔

What a fantastic place to have 🍔. I had Double Trouble for takeaway and it was my first time trying their burger. The burger was so yummy and am definitely coming back. Great customer service and lovely people running this business.
Monica Pham
I absolutely love this place. The food came out fast, looked great and is delicious! The two owners of the place were also lovely. 10/10 customer service. I very much enjoyed eating outside with the succulents ^^

Wow.

How have I lived around the corner for more then a year and not discovered this place??
We ordered the double trouble burgers. They were so delicious. Most burgers end up dripping down your hand but these were juicy enough, but without all the oils that other places seem to use.
The molten fries were hand cut chips covered in a delicious cheese sauce with bacon.
So impressed by this humble little burger place and I can confidently say we will be back. A lot. 🥰

Thanks to the lovely lady who served me too.
Vincent Shin
delicious burgers!

Had a great conversation with the lovely couple that run the place, Norm and Sharon. Amazing burgers, fresh ingredients and some of the best service I've received. If you're looking for the next burger joint to check out I couldn't recommend Burgernomics enough. Thanks again Norm and Sharon for the chat and the feed!

Good burgers, one of the best in the western suburbs

I went to Burgernomics for the first time today. As a burger lover, having tasted many burgers around Melbourne can easily say this will be one of the better places for burgers. A gem in the west. I tried out the simplist burger they had and it was delicious at the least 8/10 and friend had the outback was also super delicious 8/10. They used bioche bun and burgers weren’t drippy or oily so i dont understand why our burgers were still moist and juicy. Enough blabbering try it for yourself.
Owners really friendly, informative and goes out of their way to describe each burger which shows how much of a burger enthusiast they are.
Can’t wait to try their whole menu
David Nguyen
Surprisingly nice family-run burger joint. Small range of items that are cooked well. The burgers are tasty and filling, and the chips are well-seasoned. Good range of drinks, including thematic milkshakes. Cosy atmosphere, a nice place to drop in and dine or get some takeaway. Very friendly owners who want to have a conversation with you.

Impressive - the back to basics beef burger - tasty juicy mince beef patty, fresh brioche bun and salad, cheese and the perfect amount of sauce.

Was a quiet time when I stopped by so I had a brief chat to a friend of the cook. Did not have long to wait before my burger was ready.

Will definitely be returning, what a fantastic local find. :)

Tried to use the 1+1 food gold deal here. When tried to use it they told us they don’t deal with Zomato anymore and we couldn’t use it. We drove 25mins to get there and read the reviews which were good so thought we would try it anyway and what a regret that was!! Wanted to order the baconator and change the meat. Firstly you can’t change the beef pattie to a chicken one unless you pay for an added chicken (not just pay the difference), secondly the mixed salad wasn’t on offer anymore in the howdy chicken burger, instead it was literally half a piece of lettuce, one tomato slice and half a bottle of mayo...yuck!
The chicken didn’t fill the burger bun and it was so dry that it didn’t even break apart with my teeth! Honestly don’t know how this place is rated so well. It was such a horrible experience and really ruined my craving for a great juicy burger. The sweet potato fries to share were $7 and really a serving for one. Very overpriced for poor quality. Don’t let the presentation of the burgers fool you, as that’s all they’ve got going for them.

We went on a quiet Tuesday night.
It was $10 for any burger, however I was still disappointed in my burger.
It lacked overall balance with not enough sauce and my single 'tomato' was off the end.
The burger meat was of low quality and full of grissel.
Plenty of better burger options around.
I will not be returning.
Annabel Khamly
Delicious, large burgers and huge portion of chips! Fast service, and cute little burger place. Lots of creative burger options, and lots of vegan options. Definitely will come again!
Chee Chin Lee
Great burgers, fresh ingredients, friendly service.

Couldn't ask for more.

Will definitely be back again.

Also a good selection of vegan burgers if you're vegan.

Great burgers ! I have been here many times, and always a great burger. Norm and Sharon do an excellent job at having quality ingredients and super service.
John LeMerise
I really enjoyed this burger. The flavor combo and textures were great along with the cheesy bolognese fries. Staff was very friendly and didn’t have to wait long at all for food. Would gladly come back anytime!

Ordered a “back to basics” and I must say, it was delicious !

The bread was well toasted, patty was cooked very well and was juicy. Sauce is unique, tastes sweet goes well with the burger, the vegetables helped balance the flavours and adds a bit of sourness to it.

Overall a good burger joint ! Will be coming back to try more !

Takeaway burgers were great even after the drive home.
Good amount of sauce. Beautifully fresh ingredients. No soggy lettuce or floppy tomato here. Huge serve, extremely filling.
HAYDEN REID
Quick and great service. The burger was clean and tasty topped off with a soft bun! If your looking for lunch, the burgers and fries are delicious! Highly recommend!
Kathy Chen
Two big juicy back to basics burgers and cheesy bolognese nachos! The burgers from Burgernotmics are on another level, the ingredients are always so fresh and the burgers are always so well made! it's my favourite burger place. The bolognese nachos were really delicious, might sound odd but the liquid cheese and sweet meaty sauce was perfection!
The Superscript Diner
The best and only way to describe Burgernomics is that it is a hidden gem of a restaurant in the Western Suburbs. That is to say, you could have easily missed this place if not for keen eyes, but once you find it, it is such a delight!

There are many things to love about this place and it really comes down to getting all the basics right. It appears to be a family-run business and two warm-hearted souls will greet you as you order; their smiles will warm up your heart. The burgers are priced fairly cheap compare to their competitors, and you could easily get away with a filling burger and loaded fries for under $20. It took only six minutes for the order to be made, which is very quick.

The burger is exactly what you expect a burger to be like, and this is worth pointing out as many other burger joints fail to deliver in one (or more) critical aspects. The patty themselves steals the highlight of the show for being thick and juicy, the bacon is cooked perfectly, and even the salad (lettuce and tomato) is fresh, which is so important to balancing the otherwise fatty flavours of the meat. Even the buns themselves were soft and fluffy and able to maintain a good amount of bounce even with the pressure from my fingers.

The loaded fries were fantastic; perfectly crunchy, and were able to maintain their crunchiness with all the sauce placed on top. The bolognese had a delightful kick to it, and it simply tasted like good ol’ home food, the type your mother made for you when you were growing up.

The ambiance made good use of the small space, with a surprising number of seats available, including outdoor seatings.

Overall, this place really is a must go burger place to visit if you find yourself in the western suburbs. The warm-hearted service combined with the superb burger makes this place a truly rare find.

Very cosy and welcoming family owned business with polite staff. I really enjoyed the cheesy molten fries, everything was pretty fairly priced.
Melb_Belly
Burgernomics is a small family run burger joint out in the west. There's a couple unique patties like lamb and pork available and after a convo with the owner he mentioned all their patties are made fresh onsite 👌.

I tried the bulldog burger which consisted of beef patty, fried chicken patty, bacon, lettuce, tomato and cheese. It's a substantial size burger but all component were done perfectly. The patty was pink in the middle, the fried chicken was juicy and crisp and the bacon, well bacon is bacon 😅.

The bolognese fries was a hit with my daughter.

Service was amazingly friendly and the food came out fast. One thing that stood out in my convo with the owners is how humble and down to earth they are.

Highly recommended it if you're out west and craving a good burger.
Ryan Han
Awesome place to get burgers, chips, milkshakes and more. Even the basic burger is complete with no nonsense ingredients. You really get great values out of the meals you order. It seems a family run business and both owners were very friendly as well.
JY
Great service, clean place, generous serve! Value for money, well cooked chips, delicious sauce not overloaded making burger clean to eat, great drinks. It’s just patty perfection!

I had the back to the basics burger which was very tasty. Location is actually very good if you have a car. Owners super friendly and I’m happy to see their business thriving.

Love love love this place. My go to burger is the baconator accompanied by the loaded fries. The burgers are kind of huge so it’s always a struggle to finish my whole meal, but it’s definitely the best I’ve had in the West. The service is always good and efficient and the wait time isn’t crazy.
Get down here for some classy but beefy burgers
Sophie
Definitely one of the best burgers I’ve had in Melbourne I came here on a Friday afternoon though quiet I felt such a homely vibe from the two owners the sauce and the meat compliment each other really well the burger had a lot of flavour fresh and very filling with a great price point would definitely recommend a visit and will come back again.
BlackLightFox
Super friendly staff, quick service & the burgers were great, very thick & tender beef patties, all made really well. The sauce was nothing special but all together very happy. Will return! The bettered chips were good, a little plain but nicely cooked, needed the sauce. Slightly high priced though.
Trami Nguyen
So happy with my vegan schnitzel burger and beer battered chips👌
Neatly packaged for takeaway and the owners were lovely. A really cute burger joint and very lucky to have this place close to home 😊
Note: they also have a vegan version of the Shroom burger! Have to try that next time 😋
#veganfriendly

Across a sample size of two visits I think these are some of the best burgers in Melbourne.

It's in a bad location for foot traffic and always looks quiet but I legitimately think the burgers here are as good as if not better than more hyped up places.

Double or triple cooked fries were good too. Especially with the house sauce.

Recommend checking it out and getting the baconator (had it twice and would give it 5 stars).

This is the 3rd time I have been here now and I love it everytime! The service is excellent and personal, the restaurant is nice and clean and the food is excellent everytime! The shakes are delicious and the burgers are awesome. Gotta be one of my new favourite spots to eat. Can recommend!
Natsfoodadventures
The burgers are juicy and not grease sickening. I got the mushroom burger and loaded fries. I think the fries weren't worth the price. On a good note, everything came out fast and staff were nice.

Tasty ‘The Great Outback’ burger, yum wedges and sweet potato fries. Great prices too. The milkshakes delish. Nice and warm and good song selection as well.
Food Monkey
Looked good from outside. We went and checked it out. We tried basic and outback burgers. The burger buns seemed a bit steal but the party were ok. The chips were crunchy but lacked flavour. I liked the ambience and concept, it has a lot of potential but need to lift their game in a competitive burger market.

“Home of the Bulldog Burger!”

When I first saw this burger floating around on the net, I have been dreaming of the day I would finally devour on this bad boy, especially being a one-eyed supporter of the Western Bulldogs.

Fast forward to today, and I am writing up a review of one of the biggest and best burgers I have had to date.

The Bulldog Burger is a farmyard style of burger, with a beef patty and a piece of crispy fried chicken, united whilst sandwiched between two buns. The beef was cooked perfectly, flavourful and juicy, while the chicken encompasses the same attributes, but even better texture and flavour. The chicken as expected, made the burger quite greasy, but as someone who likes grease, this burger had me covered in many ways.

I really enjoyed the mayonnaise and barbecue sauce combination, the two sauces just go hand in hand, they work so well together. Bacon was cooked really well too, there was a generous amount of it and it was very meaty and delicious.

The price of $14.90 is definitely worth it, considering the height and weight of the burger, the sensational flavours contained, and it left me with not wanting to eat for the next week! It was so big!

And I had to get fries too, and I still don’t know what I was thinking! I had a served of fries with molten cheese sauce and bacon bits. Fries were golden brown, cooked well, full of potato and seasoned perfectly. They were very crispy on their own, and even with the toppings, they maintained their crispy texture. The cheese sauce is unique, very creamy and so good that left me dreaming of myself drinking a whole jug of it! The bacon bits were not bad, but not particularly my cup of tea, I would prefer the bolognaise sauce instead, which was something I had when I visited in the past. $7.80 for the fries, about average in comparison to other competitors serving these fries too.

One of the best burger places in business, a wholehearted recommendation from me. Sunshine and Braybrook locals, burger lovers, you have been informed. Go get them burgers now! Do not miss out!
Airi Williams
The food is delicious here! I got the Bulldog burger and the birthday cake shake and my boyfriend got the Great outback burger and a Nutella shake!
I couldn't finish the burger, it was pretty good but I couldn't taste the meat patty because the chicken was so large and overpowering but apart from that I'll be back!

Edit: I visited again and I can honestly say that this is my favourite burger restaurant in all of Melbourne. I ordered the baconator this time and as per the owner's recommendation a caramel popcorn shake. Woooo!! I was blown away by flavour. If you are not a huge eater I do recommend the baconator as it's definitely filling but won't leave you stuffed. I love all their shakes and will be back to try all of their menu!!
Max
Small space but always manage to get a place to sit! LOVE the fact they have crispy sweet potato fries! I can't stand when they're soggy and it's so hard to find a place that does it right! Definitely recommend coming here if you're a fan of sweet potato fries! Burgers are good too but the real winner for me is the fries!
Sara Debek
Eat here once a week as the burgers are amazing. Super tasty beef and burgernomics sauce adds so much flavour. Sweet potato fries are perfectly crispy. Best burgers in Melbourne!
Tacocat
I wanted so much to love Burgernomics because it's only a 5 minute drive from home. I tried the Back to Basics burger and added an egg. I found the bun to be a little dry and overall the burger was slightly under-seasoned. It could have used a bit more sauce and a pinch of salt. The seasoning on the chips was also quite average. Overall not bad but St. Burgs is still my favourite local burger joint.
Chubbylover86
Tried the double trouble at burgernomics and found the burger really tasty. Was stacked well, bacon was nice and crispy and the patties were cooked medium just how I like it. The beer battered fries were delicious but the burgernomics sauce didn’t add too much and was a bit bland. Nevertheless i would definitely go back and try their other burgers.
Gabriel Robinson
Went here tonight. Asked if I could have a mushroom patty instead if the beef. He told me it would cost me 3 extra dollars. I explained the price on the menu was 4 for a mushroom, and 3 for a beef patty. The difference should be 1 dollar. His colleague had a word to him and he said not a problem in the end. The burger was pretty good! Glad I pushed for the one I actually wanted and didn't get ripped off for it. May go back, but was annoyed I had to push a point. Macdonalds even let's you subtract costs.
Danielle Nguyen
I'm all about local feeds and this place definitely amazed me. The bun was as soft as a marshmallow and the burger was stacked nicely. Only 10 minutes away from my house so I'll come here again for a burger fix 😁

Little place along the main road, the burgers are juicy and tender and was a delight to eat and very filling. A very underrated store. Recommended.
Ming Tan
This burger shop had some mixed reviews and not highly rated as some other burger shop in the Melbourne west.
From my visit, the kickin' nacho burger had a nice spicy taste, but the sourness of the sauce overwhelm the taste of the burger.
For the howdy fired chicken burger, chicken fillet was quite dry around the side, while the center part was ok, I think it is from the lack of battering, exclude the dry chicken part, the rest of the burger was quite tasty.
The shop is on the side of a busy road so parking can be a problem. The device is friendly and timely.
Julie
Really cute small burger joint in the western suburbs. Service is always friendly and the burgers are really good here. Would definitely recommend!
Supporteskimo
Moving close by recently me and my partner did our research on local eateries and discovered this Gem of a burger joint.
Location is easy to find but limited street parking is available. The brioche bun is nice and soft, meat patty had perfect ratio and the fries are we had were amazing. The big let down is the lack of seating for a dine in option. My recommendation is that if you are after a great takeaway burger spot or a no fuss burger meal with mates burgernomics is perfect for you. But if you are after a better dine in experience I would suggest choosing other options close by
Sarah May
We had the chicken burger and shared a shake. Burgers were tasty and juicy.
Fast service.
Good burgers for your local.
Good location, convenient for getting a burger and shake take out.
Shakes were nice also.
Pass The Plate
We're definitely not spoilt for choice in this area so I was extremely pleased to discover this burger joint not far up the road from where I work.

Convenient for takeaway as they nicely packaged up everyones orders in their own separate bag with their name on it.

The burgers were tasty and on brioche buns. They also had gluten free buns which is always great to see. My only critique is that the meat was a little dry. The chips were deliciously crisp and salty and the sweet potato chips were just as flavoursome.

The shakes are thick and full of flavour, the nutella flavour was strong and delicious.

Stand Out Dish - Back to Basics Burger with sweet potato fris & the Nutella shake

What a great little hidden gem! It is on the main street off Ballarat road but you can hardly see it when it is surrounded by other little shops. Heard this off a friend and loved it! Wedges were good, burgers even better! Not oily and clean burgers. Seriously a top contender! Staff were friendly and you can see their workplace too and they keep their kitchen so clean.

Quietly located in a nondescript part of town, Burgernomics seems to be a well kept local secret. Fresh, well cooked and well presented burgers; these burgers are an interesting twist on what you would normally expect of a suburban burger joint. The 'Baconator' seemed to be the popular choice today, and was loaded with flavour. Easy to miss, but worth the effort if in the area.
Nelz
Good burger place for the area, convenient location. Not THE BEST but not disappointing either, made really good and they're pretty juicy so definitely recommend !
Nattgua
Really great food as well as service!
Price is what you would expect for this kind of quality food. Staff are always super friendly and extra helpful.
They have loaded fries as well which are amazing. Been here a few times and will happily be going back again
Batsu
Good burgers. Good chips. Pretty much my default burger place. Wish they had phone line so I could order in advance to pick up. Not a big deal as the service is fast.
David Nguyen
Had the Back to Basics burger with beer battered chips and caramel popcorn milkshake and I have to say...they were delicious!
The burger was full of flavour and nice and juicy. The chips were seasoned well and were very crunchy (which was ideal for me). While the caramel popcorn milkshake tasted divine. It just melts in your mouth with its combination of cream, caramel and popcorn.

I highly recommend checking out this gem of a burger place in the west, as it's comparable to 8bit in my opinion.
Danielle
We placed an order for pick up. The service was friendly and fast even with people eating in. The burger was tasty. The cheesy chips were delicious. I think next time we might try one of there milkshakes!
Rice Ball
We love burgers! Normally we'd go to local or places as close as possible because we're starving by the time we impulsively pick a place to eat. Burgernomics has been a place we've driven by and questioned but never actually got here until we conveniently wanted to see the popvinyls in the collectible shop next door.

This place needs more recognition because it has one of the most delicious fusion burgers ever!
The bulgogi beef burger is so juicy and there is a subtle and pleasant beef flavour which usually gets washed out with BBQ sauce in beef burgers. The spice level is very mild but I personally would like it a tad more spicy. Still really fantastic.
I also upheld the habit of always having a chicken burger. The chicken on its own wasn't mind blowing. It was rather mediocre. However, combines with the brioche bun, fresh lettuce, cheese and sauce; the chicken burger was really great. Worth the try!

Overall, if you guys want to try all the local burger joints, I don't think burgernomics would let you down. They do a wonderful job.
Peterpan
After visiting Burger establishments around the country we found it hard for anything to come close to 8-bit Footscray. With a visit to the Western Suburbs of Melbourne we checked out two places, Caroline Springs new Notorious Burgers and Burgernomics. Check out my review as it was terrible. Burgernomics however was fantastic and went straight into our Top 3. On busy Ballarat Road, we ordered the Cheese Burger and Sweet Potato Fries. Incredible taste and look forward to further times here.
Nova
Good alternative for those in the West who don't want to make the journey further down Ballarat road to 8 Bit, similar style but different.

Admittedly though, I must say the price point that their asking for was quite a bit much for somewhere in the Western suburbs, especially in terms of value for money with what your purchasing.

I feel that while their burgers and fries were quite filling, that would have been 15 dollars alone. I feel daily or weekly specials would be beneficial.
Hucumber
I have been in west footscray for 6 months or so now and have been getting my burgers from 8bit or Mr burger and have generally been happy but have had a couple of bad meals from each. I saw burgernomics the other day so decided to give it a crack as its really close and reviews were decent. So glad we tried it. Such good burgers. The baconator was easily as good as the best I've had from other high profile joints. This will be our households go to burger joint now. Everyone was groaning with pleasure by the time we finished. Also, was really quick.
MelbourneMiss
All up - a solid burger place. Service is quick - even when a load of customers arrived at once, the burgers came out quickly. The components of the burger are good, I'm just personally so over brioche buns. I much prefer a plain bun but that's just my preference. The chips will probably divide people. You either love the seasoning or you don't. Again, my preference is for plain salted french fries to go with burgers rather than seasoned battered chips. It was good, if you are in the area go, but don't go out of your way. PS - charging for dipping sauce is annoying - just work it into your overall cost and give the sauce for free.
Rodney
Excellent burgers and great chips. Pretty good to discover this place and have a local burger shop thats as good as any of the fancy burgers that you get on the hipster streets such as Smith St.
Cahl
Great burgers I had the bulldog and it was lit perfect amount of everything that I wanted everyone should go down there and order ten of them!

Im always keen to try a new burger place, and Burgernomics isnt far from my house so I gave it a go with my wife. I got the Baconator and she got the Howdy. I really enjoyed my burger, the flavours were great and the burger was well sized. However my wife didnt like hers, she said the chicken was dry. I also liked the chips but my wife didnt, they have a BBQ flavour, very similar to BBQ flavoured potato chips so I guess its just personal preference. There is only a small amount of seating too so I wouldnt plan on eating in at peak time. Its worth a try if you're in the area.
Foodie Duo
Chips are delicious and crunchy and seasoning tastes like BBQ rub which is awesome. Green smoothie was nice and didn't taste bitter despite being packed with all healthy ingredients. Salads on the burger were fresh, buns were toasted and soft, patties were seasoned well with only salt and pepper (not the usual funky seasoning at other burger places), and the cheese was melted with the original American melted cheese. Well priced and customer service is was very good.
One thing to note is how the burgers were played. They sit in paper in a half cut burger box. I'll never eat a burger another way. We'll be back for sure.
AJ
I cant tell you how they spice/flavor their meat, but what I can tell you its really tasty! Very nice burgers. I ordered the double trouble. The meat patties are large. All the ingredients in the burger were fresh and the burger itself was well presented. The bun was a winner. Nice and soft but did not fall apart or get soggy

Also got the cheesy bolognese fries, there were good.

Staff were nice and friendly

looking forward to going back soon to check of the baconator also my mate got the Birthday cake Milkshake and said it was really good. that will also be in my next order!
Cristian
Really enjoyed my meal at burgernomics!

The burger was so juicy and tasty. I also noticed it wasn't as greasy as say an 8-bit burger so definitely felt like a healthier option.

Decent range of burgers to choose from and not far from home. Recommended!
Beryl Ubergirth
Great service, great food, very accommodating to celiacs

Very reasonably priced and generous servings. A lot of variety
KevinTheHungryFoodie
Burgernomics is a food joint that is located in braybrook and provides decent quality burgers as the burger range offers both beef and chicken options as well as the vegetarian mushroom burger they have. Their burgers aren't anything special, they aren't great but their also not bad aswell. I had gotten the baconator and the back to basics burger. They were tasty however I've noticed their burger buns were a bit thin and got soggy really fast. Other than that the burgers were fine with a generous amount of sauce for those sauce lovers. I have also gotten the fries which were beer battered similar to that of the schnitz franchise and they were really good aswell.

I wouldn't highly recommend to eat at this place but if you're in dire need of a DECENT burger which won't disappoint then this is the place to go. You guys could maye improve on the buns and maybe some quality control before the burgers leave the kitchen to customers. This could improve consistency and maybe make a few more customer happy.
St4n4zol
Got the back to basics, baconator and shroom burgers. All were top notch and standup against anything I've had from places with a lot more "hype". All ingredients were fresh and cooked well, the buns are really nice. Also ordered the fries, sweet potato fries, Nutella and birthday cake shakes...all excellent. Overall Burgernomics is an excellent burger joint and should not be missed!

UPDATE****

Went and this time tried the chicken burger adding a pineapple.....as good as the others! My "friend" got the bolognese fries... Very very nice! As good as the 1st time. Highly highly recommended!
Ellie Stafford
Been to a lot of burger places over the years and got a rating for about all of them but this place has jumped right in there to top spot.
It's everything you want in a burger and every element just perfectly executed and I must add at a very reasonable price. I can't forgot there amazingly ridiculous fries topped with all things amazing and tasty the cheese fries and bolognese fries are a must try!
Virgil
Burgers were good and tasty. The milky buns were quite nice and the burgers were a decent size for the price you pay. Definitely a decent feed if you're looking for something local.
RunFatBoyRun
Tried Burgernomics for the first time last night as I drive pass their shop almost everyday. I know they have been open for a couple of months now and have been curious about their burgers.. Tried The Baconator with molten fries. The burger was a decent size compared to other burger shops . The Brioche bun wasn't too sweet which is good. Overall I thought it was good however a little dry.
TweeVy Ngo
Nothing special about their burgers. The buns were soggy and there was nothing more to the saltiness of their dry beef patties. Would be good if they were inventive with their sauces and creation of their meat patties. The stack was good but the overall size of their double trouble was disappointing. I would love more for the amount that I pay for.

I came here for lunch last Friday for lunch with my partner we and ordered the Shroom burger and the Bulgogi burger to share and try. I was really excited since I love pretty much anything Bulgogi flavoured. This "bulgogi" burger, however, was totally misleading!

Anyone who has had bulgogi would know that the flavour should be sweet and a little salty. The burger I received was dressed in a spicy red mayo sauce that I can only assume was sriracha mayo (or something along the lines) instead of the bulgogi mayo I was expecting. I'm really terrible with spicy foods so this totally ruined my burger experience. I wish we hadn't eaten the Shroom burger first so I could've used it to save my mouth from the spicyness of the "Bulgogi"...

I'm not saying that the burger itself was terrible; everything but the sauce was decent, but that Burgernomics does not seem to understand the concept of Bulgogi. The name and description of "bulgogi mayo" was so misleading. They should've named it the Sriracha burger instead.

We had eaten the Shroom burger first and that was one of the better mushroom burgers I have had. It was crumbed well and crispy and the burger came out hot and perfect for that cold and rainy day.

I really cannot believe that no one else has picked up on this humongous mistake with the Bulgogi burger yet. Please let me know if it wasn't only me

Do not go here if you want a decent burger. Beef was dry. Buns were soggy. There was no flavor at all and some of the staff seem to have attitude problems. Maccas down the road can do better burgers.

Decent burgers!!! Would go again and try the chicken. Would have liked more nachos and jalapeños on the burger - only criticism . Also had the Nutella milkshake .. Sweet

I've been here a few times now and they're definitely getting better at it. I came in on opening and ordered the double trouble and it was no good - too salty and bun fell apart on me (has happened to me twice outside of a McDonalds restaurest so it's very rare) and it wasn't working. Normally I wouldn't return after such an experience, but I had faith and it paid off. The baconator is great and the chips are tasty. I'm hoping they expand their options because the menu is a little small, but overall considering the lack of options in the west it's definitely worth a look.

Tried Burgernomics on Friday night and was lucky to have gotten a seat before everyone else showed up. There are only four tiny tables inside, a couple outside. I ordered a Back To Basics burger and Beer Battered Fries with a bottle of water and was horrified to be told that their eftpos minimum is twenty dollars per transaction. I've never ordered or shopped at any store before that requires you to spend over twenty dollars before being allowed to make an eftpos payment, what a joke. Not even a small franchise like bakers delight who charge less for their items expect you to pay over twenty dollars. Every eftpos minimum I have ever seen has only been ten dollars.

I hesitated then to pay for the burgers and I should have seen that as a warning. I waited rather a while for my simple order to come out and once it did there was no spark. The burger was plain. I've heard simple can be good but this type of simple was horrible. The only taste this burger had was the sauce they used which tasted like a rip off from the Big Mac sauce. Filling was few to none, sauce was almost nonexistent. I felt like I had paid ten dollars to eat what? Nothing.
I came into this store with such high expectations hoping for a really overflowing filled, oil dripping tasteful burger that left me wanting more. It's safe to say I won't be returning.

The chips themselves were half decent and I do believe that is because of the salt they had the chips swimming in.

Don't bother. Want a good burger? Stick with Grill'd at Highpoint or even New York Minute Burgers which is up the road.

I ordered a beef burger and it was nice. Not too greasy and perfect size. The service was friendly.
I recommend this place for a quick eat in or take away as the restaurant it lacking in ambiance. Small and cold inside.

Dropped in for lunch ordered the great outback cause im a fan of egg.burger .it was good .staff were friendly and efficient. Wasnt too greasy .bun was soft .a bit too soft .bit too much salt in the fries. But in the whole a good experience. Will come again and try other burgers. Well priced .so ok value for money

not sure what to think.

for me personally, the pattie was way too big which collapsed heavily onto the whole burger and the amount of sauce didnt help either. maybe the bun was too thin?

they should get the balance right.

it should be a balanced taste, where you enjoy all ingredients.

staff are bad, customer service is worse than a shit fish and chip shop.

3/5 cos of pattie size. no atmosphere happening.

I thought I'd go and check out what everyone was talkng about....
Ended up waiting at least 5 minutes before anyone realised that we were there, and once we FINALLY got out order, the burgers were horrible.
Sggy buns, extremely greasy and bacon was black...

Greeting 10/10: A good old hello brother what can I get you
Signage 0/10: No clear visible signage anywhere.
Packaging 2/10: Cardboard box and wrapping paper.
Chips 10/10: Crunchy and well seasoned.
Meat 9/10: No lamb, only beef and chicken. Beef was a bit dry but chicken was succulent. Well seasoned.
Sauce 7:10: Asked for garlic, chilli and BBQ but they gave me ranch...
Overall 7/10: Might be back, might not, who knows.

i was just at burgernomics moments ago to be specific 04 June 2016 at 1.30pm.
i placed an order for 3 burgers cheesy fries and a Nutella shake for takeaway for a total of $47.50. i recieved my order and was told that everything was in the bag. as i was driving home i decided to check to see for myself
my order was missing the cheesy fries and to add to the headache my freezing cold shake was in the same bag as my burgers.
i retured back to recieve my fries but they said it would take about 10mins so i said my burgerd will be cold by this time as by this time it was already 20mins. they were nice enough to remake my order (as they should)
so here i am waiting outside while its raining and cold and a young man approaches me with some anger towards me ( as i can tell from his body language and tone of voice)
he ask me whats wrong with the burgers!! raising his voice. i reply the burgers were fine i was missing my cheesy fries so they are remaking my order. he storms off afew steps to the bin outside and throws the burgers in the bin and from the force of him throwing the burgers he tips the bin over in front of other customers. (classy and professional) so i ask him whats the problem and he ignores me and storms off and then the old lady flipping the beef paties comes out and has a go at me aswell and im told they are no longer remaking my order and was told to leave.
so i ask for my refund as made my way out.

as having that unbelievable experience i honestly couldnt believe that all just happened.
i have never ate their and never will ever!
from my experiences of being a burger fan and going to great burger joints dating back years before this hole burger trend came about i use to go to dannys burgers and since then i have been to other great burger joints such as huxtaburger and 8bit.
burgernomics is just a wanna be burger store trying to be cool, hip etc. burgernomics is just dressed up as a cool burger joint but the owners and the ppl running the place and the brain's behind this shop is not up to the job honestly they have got it all wrong. they are just backyarders with no idea how to run a shop all they did was try and do a cool shopfitout that is all everything is a total fail. will never recommend this place. ppl seriously go to 8bit and huxtaburger. if u dont believe my honest opinion you can see for yourself if you ever go there and then you will know what I mean. its a tacky joint with the patties and bacon just sitting in plastic containers not even i the fridge if you think that i am making this up go and see for yourself.
SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!!!!
thank you.

Amazing, simple yet delicious burgers and not the typical greasy type of burgers you get else where. Everything about it is fresh, from the bun to the patties and sauce. Wouldn't wanna miss out their side orders as well especially their fries
Luc

Brandon Murray
Awesome place to eat, would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a great tasting burger, the serving size was definitely just about perfect in my opinion.

Slow orders, the food took them ages to make and burgers tasted crappy packed with a lot of salt.
One employee was just standing in the back doing nothing whilst there are customers waiting to be served all the way outside. To conclude this critic, the business lacked in management and training however, will give it another go next time.
I've been looking forward to the opening of Burgernomics for months.

There was way, way too much salt on the burgers. Or maybe it was the sauce? Either way the burgers were on the verge of inedible, which is a shame because it seemed like they would actually have been pretty good without the salt. Who even salts a burger patty?!?!?!?

Also way too much salt on the cheesy molten fries.

The only thing that I'd give a positive review for would be the sweet potato fries - they were the crunchy and delicious. But the serving was tiny for $5.

Unless the quality picks up and there are some great reviews we won't be back

Went here at around 8PM with my girlfriend. I had the double trouble and she had the baconator, with a side of cheesy bolognese fries and root beer float. The burgers came out in timely manner, barely waited at all. The double trouble burger I had tasted great, the patty was very juicy and there was a great amount of sauce in it! For what I paid it was well worth it as it filled me right up! The fries tasted great as well! My girlfriend seemed to enjoy her burger and said it was nice! Overall very enjoyable

I was in the area as I was visiting a client of mine and I thought to give it a shot to this joint. Walked in and welcomed by a friendly staff member, ordered a Baconator and a serve of fries. The burger itself was very tasty, 8bit style but richer of flavour to be honest. Chips had a bit too much seasoning for my tasting, I guess they are trying to do it a bit differently. Overall a good meal, will be back next time I am around this sub.

Let's start with the positives:
- nice neat place. The lighting and the mood is nice, friendly customer service and great overall vibe
- easy to find
- I had the double trouble burger and it was cost efficient. For a burger of its price, it is probably one of, if not, the most he generous filled burger I've had and I was definitely filled
- the milkshake was superb (caramel popcorn)

On to the negatives
- taste wise, the burger itself was a 7/10
- beef was dry and a bit overcooked
- Pickles were cut too long (personal preference)
- parking space is limited
- secret sauce taste doesn't taste anything special that makes it unique to other burger sauces.

I had the back to basics with pineapple and it was delicious! I had a bit of trouble holding it together because its quite large, but other than that i couldnt fault it. Highly recommend this place, it's a gem for where it's located

Tried Burgernomics yesterday night and was lucky to have my order put in before they sold out at approx 6:15! What?! I had the Howdy chicken burger (with pineapple) and my friends had the beef burgers, sides of nachos and a Nutella shake.

The burgers were ok, the ingredients used were fresh and the burgers themselves were non greasy so we didn't feel sick after eating them. Our burgers came out warm - cold though so they could have been better when eaten hot. I didn't really like the batter used in my chicken burger, it was too crunchy and hard to eat and a bit drying - the pineapple saved it for me.

Overall we fairly enjoyed our meal here, given that they only recently opened 2 days ago this place has the potential to be better. Service is slow but friendly and prices are decent for what is offered.
