Thanks to the @heyyou app, I keep finding new and better coffee places in the citay. The barista here told me “if you think the cup design is nice, wait till you try the coffee”. He was quite spot on, going to make a huge call and say this is the best cup of skinny flat white along Little Collins!.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Coffee verdict: Loved their rendition of skinny flat white. It had a great nutty flavour and the taste was NOT overwhelmed by too much milk (unlike some places…) This, together with a good price ($3.6), loyalty stamps (buy 9 and get your 10th cup for free) and friendly service - really gives me so many compelling reasons for me to come back again. The only minor constraint is that it primarily caters for takeaway, so no leisurely drinks there!
Update: I’ve also ordered the bacon toast here - generous servings, but I preferred for the cheese melt to be more prominent. Still, I was so stuffed that I didn’t need to have lunch when I had this at 10am!
A cute little toasties window, the best coffee on little Collins in my opinion and I have tried a few of their toasted sandwiches which are nothing like I have ever tried before, my current favourite is the Chicken Parmigiana Toastie (you read that right). I like to support small business and this little place is owned by the guy making your coffee- pretty rare in the city. The cardboard boxes the toasties come in are a nice touch too.
I had an afternoon piccolo latte here. And all I can say is WOW!! It was delicious.
This little hole in the wall is good, with great service and did I mention the coffee? Hahahaha perfect!
I really enjoyed the flavour of the Melba coffee, and I’ve had this coffee before so I knew it would be good. Yummmo
Found another nice coffee in the CBD.
That I knew the coffee was because people holding the colorful takeaway cups catched my eye and I googled where the cafe is. It’s a small coffee window on Lt Collins st, but the owner, Chris, was friendly and the coffee was consistent. Their toasties look well-known as well and will have a go next time😁
While I was drinking the coffee, the frog mark on the cup drew my attention. The Rainforest Alliance Verified mark refers that farmers grow coffee in environmental-friendly and sustainable methods. The alliance also promotes decent living and working conditions for them. Looks so meaningful!🙌
Really good coffee and service. We love the happy hour!
In Melbourne with so many great coffee spots, I go out of my way to come here. Though its only take away, for me its perfect on my way to the office.
It got a five from me, when I asked for a strong coffee, that's exactly what I got. As a total bonus the quality beans ensured that I didn't get a bitter brew.
Cool little take away place, barista remembers my coffee order and the bacon egg and hollandaise is a winner for me, there is sometimes a line but its worth the wait
Chris makes amazing coffee and the cup it comes in has a really cool image with a colourful lid. If you're feeling hungry I highly recommend the bacon and egg toastie (generous bacon, just the right amount of hollandaise and the eggs are perfectly cooked). Stop by here in the morning and it'll start your day off beautifully :)
Walked past this place on the way to work for 6 months. Decided today to give it a go and What an absolute pleasure. The coffee just how I love it. Savoury, cereal choc toast notes rather than the floral beans all around little collins. Bacon egg (2 inside) hollandaise toastie was delicious, big and only $5.50! Coffee $3.80. The price was certainly right and the taste wonderful. Found my new Friday stop.
This little gem was recommended to me and it well lived up to expectations! Great coffee, great food and great service - the trifecta!! (Don't very often get all three)
Great place. Perfect service, toastie and coffee.
