Authentic Thai Food at affordable price. They took the time to set the place nicely. Their food is creatively decorated. The place between chairs/tables more far apart than in Carnegie. Service is excellent. I think it will also pass for a good date place.

Order was meant arrive at 7:05 and arrived at 8:45. Don’t trust the wait time they display on Uber Eats! When I called to check on the progress, the guy lied to me and hung up with no apology! The food was appalling and ended up in the bin. AVOID.

We ordered through Uber eats. The food was delicious and fast! The roti bread, pad Thai and spring rolls were all yummy. Their sauces were a tad on the sweeter side but overall delicious food !!! Will definitely order again :) Thanks guys!

Great food (not the prawn dumplings!) Everything else is great- very friendly service. Good prices

The Pad Thai from here is as good as you’ll be get anywhere. Delicious. Very friendly staff as well and the order is always ready for a prompt pickup. Highly recommend.

Service lovely, food yummy and price really good

The food was ultra high quality, very well put together and delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and the prices quite fair. What a little gem.

Get take away from here at least a couple of times a month. Always on the mark. Good food. Not expensive. Quick delivery. 👍

We ordered takeaway because our usual place (Sumalee Thai) wasn't on Uber Eats, however despite the food being tasty, the amount of rice was double and main dish was half as much, for the same money we'd normally pay.

This is the best Thai food I’ve had in Melbourne! The food has consistently been great quality across all the dishes when I have dined in or ordered delivery. Guaranteed good meal!

This is our ‘go to’ for home delivery Thai food. My husband always orders the Mussaman curry and roti, and is never disappointed. I usually have the lemongrass chicken or chilli veg, and have always enjoyed my meal.

Always such a pleasure eating here. The staff are so friendly and the service is always really good even though they work so hard and do get really busy at times. The food is consistently good. The green curry is always a favourite and the roti is fresh and flaky and delicious.

What a lovely place to find in the streets of ormond! We went in last night without a booking. The food came out so quickly and the service was delightful. We ordered two entrees, prawn crackers and golden bag followed by pad Thai and a stir fry. The food was delicious. The servings were also fairly big and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

Ordered take away from here the other day. Service was super quick on the phone. Ready in 15mins which was perfect because we were starving. Ordered the green curry which was good but just a little bit too sweet for my liking and the fried rice noodles which were really tasty!! We got a side of steamed prawn dumplings and prawn spring rolls. The spring rolls where a full prawn wrapped and deep fried! Delish. A great place for takeaway when you can't be bothered cooking or going too far from home. Cheap and cheerful place

I think this is the one of the best Thai joints in the area. I've been a bayside and st kilda regular my whole life and I've tried almost every thai place around. Recently moved to caulfield south and thought I'd give this place a go rather than my usual places on Centre Road. Our thai takeaway is now sorted.

Ahh...maybe it was my fault but maybe I should have asked for extra chilli on my curry I found it to be very mild and lacked any punch. Deserves another shot.

Awful. I'm not the one who writes bad reviews about cafes/restaurants very easily. Usually I give places a good chance before I write a bad review. But this experience has been awful. We got a delivery from this place. Green Thai curry, stir fired veggies and coconut rice. Stir fried veggies had a bad smell like seafood was taken out of it and the veggies were just soggy and old. All my friends ended up wasting the whole meal. I won't write a bad review unless I really have had a terrible experience. Guys please lift your game :-(

Love it!. Best Thai in the area by far, beef dishes are the best. Always order take away & it's quick even on a Saturday night. Every dish we have had so far has been great. Curries are beautiful

Not impressed. We bought a voucher and were very disappointed. I asked for tea or soft drink or juice instead of wine as I am pregnant and he would not accomodate my request. I find that unbelievable. isnt tea cheaper than wine?
entree was very small and probably not the size you would get if you came without the vouchers. .main was ok... I think this might be one of those places that has ok food when you go without a voucher but with voucher you are not given the same amount of food or service!

Ms. Jan Berger. Used my Groupon voucher for four.
Food and service were great.
It would have be far better if there was more choice in the main for four....instead of doubling the same courses for only two.
We had Pad Thai noodles and Red beef curry...perhaps another curry as well would have been more enjoyable.
Will be back again...

Really dirty... horrible place. I don't do much in the way of reviews. A place has to be fantastic; or shell shockingly bad. This place is the later... Cheap, but with a smell of vermin permeating the air. Avoid. Or eat at your own peril.

Yummy Thai. I went to Thai Ormond last week . The food is still nice as usual and the service is great as always. By the way the walk way to toilet is a bit dark may be as the old building . No hesitate to come back again . Strongly reckon !

Tasty delicious food. We went to Ormond Thai for our daughter's birthday on 24 February 2014. The food was simply delicious, service superb and the atmosphere beautiful. The waiter took note of our daughter's special dietary requirement and the food was served to perfection. I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to anyone who would like service with a smile and great food. We will definitely go there again and this is now our favourite Thai restaurant. Tried it for the first time, nice flavor, quick delivery, prices are a bit to high..
Good Thai food, but not as good as Derby Thai

Super awesome and consistent.. The best Thai place in Ormond or in the South East for that matter. Been here several times and always amazing. ask for the fresh chilli if you like a bit of spice - never disappoints.
Heaps of veggie options which is what I am all about.

Lucky Find In Ormond. We blundered into this lovely little Thai Restaurant in the main street of Ormond after being let down by a place in Brighton. (overbooked) Ormond Thai is a quaint little place with atmosphere in abundance and the food was fantastic.
We had the mixed entrée, the curry puffs are to die for.
Then for main course we had the Sate Prawns with that wonderful sauce and the Classic Pad Thai with Prawns.
The sauces, the flavours and the textures in these dishes were absolutely perfect.
Don't forget the Roti and the coconut rice; wonderful.
With the perfect meal comes good service, and we were very well looked after.
We will definitely return for more, and next time we will bring some friends to enjoy the tastes of Thailand.

Takeaway favourite!. We often order takeaway from Ormond Thai and are always extremely satisfied with the dishes. Very tasty and authentic food. I would particularly recommend the moreish roti with peanut sauce & fragrant green curry!

Tough beef. First visit to Ormond Thai despite living in the area for years. the penang chicken curry was lovely but the beef stirfry was as tough as boot leather and equal in taste ! the waiter said oh we didn't but the bicarb in last night but it should be okay. he refused to try it or acknowledge how bad it was - which could be seen by looking at the dry up curls of dark brown beef.

we were charged full price despite leaving pretty much the entire dish. he wasn't empathetic and didn't seem too bothered. we won't go back

Dine like in Thailand. Wandering through the no-mans land that is the somewhat remote suburb of Ormond, we found this restaurant. The vegetarian restaurant was closed, so we ended up at Ormond Thai. Everything there reminded me of our trip to Thailand a year ago. Imperial pink, Buddha statues and a picture of the Thai King.

I got the Satay beancurd with veggies, my partner the coconut cream soup with beancurd and veggies. One serving of coconut rice was enough for the both of us. We decided to change plates halfway through the meal, but I have to admit I had a hard time parting from my satay. After tasting the green curry soup, I'd say I would have felt the same if that had been my first choice. The spicing and herbs was delicious, very authentic. Nice touch of koriander. If you ever venture into forsaken Ormond and get hungry, pay a visit to Ormond Thai.

Ordered deep fried fish in red curry sauce, green curry beef, chargrilled chicken. Only the fish was good. Beef was chewy, chicken was slightly tough & looked like kebab chicken. Servings was small compared to other Thai.

Om Nom. We moved house and were looking for a local thai and saw Ormond around. First thing we noticed was the color scheme and were a bit worried, but once we saw the food (and the amazing coconut juice) we were in bliss! we just got back from 3 weeks in Thailand and it was just as good!
Only thing that is missing is a bit of music for the mood.
