Steak sandwich, mezze breakfast and baked eggs are very yummy ! Coffee is also great :)
Taste:
Middle East Mezze Breakfast: 7 - Various small dishes served with bread. All excellent except the ful mudammas which lacked a bit in flavour.
Orange Blossom Pancakes with additional ice cream: 9 - tasty berry compote with large fluffy pancakes; well complemented by ice cream.
Coffee: 7 - iced long black was slightly too bitter
Ambience: 10 - spacious seating, good lighting and fun indoor fountain.
Value for money: 7 - decent portion sizes, however slightly on the pricey end for food (~$24 for food and coffee)
Speed: 8 - orders and coffee were fairly fast, however food took a bit longer than expected.
Dietary requirements: Many good vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options

Overall: 8/10
We came here for their dinner service. We shared the chicken skewers, rice pilah, eggplant and lentil salad and lamb. All were delicious and fresh. Could do with a tiny bit more seasoning in the rice but I could easily add more to taste. Wine was nice and service was excellent. Will be back for brekky!
Amazing fitouts, such a nice colour combination.
Retail space is gorgeous, food is nice.
Love the fountain in the shop, so stunning!
Great concept of a little store inside the restaurant. Ambience is awesome and food is great! In particular, the middle east breakfast is wonderful and a unique addition to most brunch places in Melbourne!! So tasty!
Hands down, one of the most beautiful place to take pictures for Instagram! Such lovely ambience & great service too.
We ordered:
💛 Porterhouse Steak Sanga (3/5)
The meat was cooked until well-done and hard rock so it was pretty hard to eat. Chips were delish tho.
💛 Salmon Egg (4/5)
Tasty salmon and perfectly cooked egg. However, bread is so-so and didn’t give the final kick to the already great combo of the salmon & eggs.
💛 Iced Latte (3/5)
Mini size coffee but a really strong one.
This is one of the most Instagramable cafes in Burwood area. I honestly really satisfied with the service, venue, ambiance and also the great taste of coffee. I would recommend my relatives to visit Zoobibi. And please prepare your camera to capture every corner of this place.
Was here for a Sunday lunch w a group of girls.
I love the decor here. Bright, clean, relaxing, spacious. Tables were of a good size.
They also have store selling homewares.
It was just a really nice different feel.
Everyone enjoyed their dishes.
Came here in the early morning and had one of their specials, the oat and quinoa porridge with maple stripe and peanut crumble. Delicious and creamy, just what I needed. I’ve tried a couple of their other dishes like the prawn salad and their seasonal mushrooms. My favourite so far is the prawn salad. All the ingredients taste fresh which is awesome.
Staff are incredibly friendly and accommodated me from the moment I walked to the shop.
Great cafe, beautiful place and loveliest of staff.
After a 10 minute wait, we were seated on a communal table. They could probably use the space better and get more tables for diners in there in my opinion!
There is a lot of mouth watering items on the menu but I went for the mezze breakfast which was a great variety.
Everything was good and it was a good balance of cheese, bread, fresh, salty and trusty.
I want to come back to try more things on the menu.
It was tough to say no to the dessert counter too... but I had to!
A beautiful cafe / homeware store. Order your coffee and have a browse through all the beautiful homewares. There is a delicious selection of sweets on display. The ambience of the cafe is something of a Moroccan haven, with a gorgeous fountain and beautiful tiles. It’s a must see

Zoobibi is a unique amalgamation of homeware store and cafe. The courtyard-like dining space is filled with natural light, and there’s plenty of space between the tables. Coffee is by Padre, and on the counter is a large spread of cakes, pastries and sandwiches-to-go. Everything is made from scratch and the menu changes
A hidden gem!
After driving past Zoobibi countless of times, I decided to check out the cafe - and was so glad I did!
The interior of the cafe is gorgeous, as it shares half its space with a homewares shop. The menu was just as appealing as all the pastel home supplies!
After much deliberation I ordered the 'Quinoa and Baby Oat Porridge' - served with chai green apple, coconut sugar and a strawberry. My friend got the 'Seasonal Field Mushrooms' - which gave me instant food envy when it came out, as it looked far more appealing than my porridge. However, what the porridge lacked in presentation was made up for in taste! I loved the combination of chai and apple, and the quinoa gave the porridge an amazing texture.
My only complaint is that I would have loved more strawberries on top, which may have also helped the presentation.
This place is amaaaaazing! So bright and spacious, a real hidden gem in Hawthorn. From the moment you step in, you feel as though you have been transported to another land. The staff are so friendly and attentive and the food was delicious! I had the Cauliflower and Freekah Salad, just wow! Their almond chai latte's are perfection! and you absolutely must must must have Rozanna's Baklava. (drool) and now.. .lets talk homewares! amazing and unique travel inspired items that will suit any decor and not to mention very well priced. I don't know how anyone can walk out empty handed. I bought this lovely platter that was hand made in Turkey that is just gorgeous!
Beautiful hybrid cafe with home decoration shop. You can shop inside for as long as you want then have a coffee with nice snacks or meal to rest your legs. Staff are extreme friendly and food is tasty. I prefer the pancake comes with little jar of maple sauce aside. The rest is good.
We popped in here for a little browse around the homewares store, and a nice, leisurely coffee. The area is spacious and airy with lovely marble tables. We chose a few treats from the cake cabinet which was generously stocked. The pastries are divine, and the cheesecake was very good. Coffee was also great.
The staff were lovely and we are hoping to return soon to try more of their menu. I think this is a great concept as it's lovely to stop for a cuppa while shopping.
Very friendly staff, the store was absolutely beautiful and the food was even better, ordered the field mushroom breakfast and a flat white, it was a good portion size and we didn’t have to wait too long for service. Would definitely be going there again!
Stumbled upon this interesting place. The owner made us feel welcomed and took time to explain the food and the place. Ordered the grilled chicken couscous and the organic porterhouse steak sanga. Both were delicious. We will be back with friends to try out the other dishes on the menu. And the coffee was excellent too. Thumbs up from us. Jordan
Great place to be. Great environment. Baby friendly. The owners are really friendly too. Food is awesome and also the coffee. I thought it is a new open. But this one is really something you can’t miss. 真的很不错👍
One of the nicest restaurant fit outs I've seen in a while. The space is huge with a layout that is open without putting you on display. It feels very Mediterranean, with tiled floors, big arches, skylights and even an indoor fountain all within the central dining that lies amidst a huge venue full of beautiful homewares. The menu is "globally inspired" but also has an underlying Mediterranean influence, it seems. I tried the seasonal field mushrooms, which were presented beautifully on a bed of sauteed spinach and mashed pumpkin and topped with egg, feta and Enoki mushroom tendrils. The smell of truffle hit me as soon as the dish reached the table. If you're a mushroom lover like I am, this dish is a must. My dining partner's Mezze breakfast also looked amazing, and was fully vego with features like mashed beans and Turkish yoghurt. The cafe uses Padre coffee and offers several non-dairy milks including a super nutty and delicious macadamia option. I didn't try any of their sweets, but the sticky date cake or baklava look to die for.
Really cozy and modern environment. Highly recommend. Staffs are really welcoming. Importantly, love the fooooood! Overall, amazing place for shopping, hanging out, dining, and RELAXING
Beautiful light and spacious atmosphere, delightful service and great food! We had the teriyaki chicken burger and porterhouse steak sanga, both were just perfect. The Jungle Juice was also very refreshing!
Bright, leafy and warm - those were the good vibes that Zoobibi exudes. Upon entry, you'll be greeted by friendly team members and abundant sunshine. The other half of the Zoobibi store displays modern home ware and home decorations for sale.
Lucky enough, my partner and I manage to snag a table right next to the water feature in the middle; the skylight was above us so there's plenty of warm sunlight. While waiting, we browsed some of the items they have for sale; a good way to kill time while waiting for our brunch dishes.
Both of us ordered the Persian Baked Eggs and Salmon Eggs (Poached Eggs); coffee ordered were Soy Chai and Latte. The waiting time for the dishes were good - roughly 10-15 minutes. I liked my Baked Eggs dish! It was balanced (it can often have an overpowering tomato taste) and the eggs were perfectly cooked (it was still half boiled!); the baked eggs were accompanied by 3 bite-sized slices of sour dough; I might add Feta Cheese to it next time to give it a cheesier kick. My partner enjoyed his Salmon eggs too! The poached eggs were utterly well cooked and complemented well with the Smoked Salmon. Did I also mention how photogenic this cafe was especially with its marble tables and open plan layout?
The only downside of Zoobibi, in my opinion anyway, would be the very limited number of tables for seating. It seems like half of the tables are communal, leaving only about 4-5 individual tables. I would highly recommend they place more individual tables for the comfort of seating customers. Zoobibi feels like a cafe where I can always swing by to have a nice long brunch, relax and have a great catch up with loved ones. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Very nice interior and vibes. Good coffee and a wide range of breakfast options. Probably won’t get pastry here again but definitely coming back to have brunch!
Fantastic brunch destination. Great range of choices, top quality dishes with beautiful presentation. There's also a cute gift store attached that you can browse after eating
Food and service was fantastic. Also such a pretty place to eat and shop. The decor was lovely too. Check out how pretty their food is. Also bought this delightful smelling candle.
The environment is absolutely invincible! You can shop while dining. There are a lot of beautiful home furnishings and tableware, food and coffee can keep up with the environment, it is perfect.
Shared the Persian Baked Eggs followed by Orange Blossom Pancakes. Enjoyed it thoroughly. A treat worth raving about. To top it off, service was excellent.
Food was amazing, everything was clean, fresh and healthy. What I was most impressed with at the restaurant was the service by the young blonde waitress, she did an outstanding job, the most professional and personable waitress I've ever encountered.
Nice place for events. Dishes are well presented and taste good. The Moroccan Lamb is awesome.
