My score 3.75 stars (for sushi rolls). A quick takeaway top-up for a solo dinner on Tue 19th Oct. Not expecting much, so was pleasantly surprised.
Quite late lunchtime, so not a lot of choice on offer. Service fine. Free “fish” soy sauce (was in a rush so didn’t ask about ginger).
Cooked tuna, avo and cucumber Maki roll ($2.80) – Quite good, nice balance of tuna and mayo and I enjoyed the creaminess of the avo, plus crunch of cucumber.
Salmon Maki roll ($2.80) – Salmon fresh and a reasonable portion. Tasty!
Not the biggest (or most jam packed) maki rolls I’ve ever had, but I would give them a second go…
Always order from Mizu Sushi through uberEats, and have never been disappointed. All the vegetarian options are amazing and arrive quickly! Recommend mizu sushi for everyone!!!!!!

Great Sushi Place. The staff are very accommodating and are happy to cater for my brown rice sushi rolls which are always fresh! Definitely one of the better sushi places in Puckle St.
authentic tasting japanese food. sushi was fresh and the sashimi was delightful. there are also some notable side dishes, such as the green tea ice cream and the miso soup

Highly Recommended. Definitely my new favourite restaurant in moonee ponds for Japanese cuisine. They have really nice hot dishes that they now have. My favourite is either the Udon noodle or their Bento boxes. I am also currently obsessed with their home-made miso soup. I plan to visit this place at least every two weeks lol.
Excellent sushi, fresh, great variety! will be back.. New kid on the block, Mizu sushi just opened on busy puckle street. Went there today, the sushi is amazing, really fresh and more variety than the usual sushi places around. Highly recommended. This is my new go to sushi place.
While we enjoyed most of the dishes we ordered from Yokoso Izakaya, some of the entrees were way overpriced for what they were. The mains were amazing, the Wagyu Udon, chicken curry and salmon steak were absolutely delicious. Had ton of flavour and the meat was cooked perfectly. Everyone were happy with the dishes. Whereas their rolls were essentially a sushi roll but three times the price, they tasted good but not worth the price. However the crispy Wagyu balls were amazing. I could have eaten that all night. I would suggest get the crispy Wagyu and the mains, skip on the sushi rolls. Also the staff were very friendly and accommodating when it came to dietary requirements.
I had a booking for yesterday to celebrate my best friends 30th birthday. Once again the BEST EXPERIENCE, kindest staff I’ve ever met in the world (every single staff is so beautiful), the food was SO DAM YUMMY! Honestly this is going to be my go to restaurant and I’m not even a local! Thanks for a beautiful experience and thanks again for such lovely service! You left both of us waking up in the best mood after the best night we had. Love all the staff and the chefs are amazing!
Delicious dishes with impeccable attention to detail. Relaxed, inviting atmosphere. Quality menu with justified pricing reminds you you've been putting up with lower quality elsewhere because it is cheaper. Come here to rediscover Japanese cuisine done well.
I been there with wife. We really enjoyed all the dishes. We love sushi, sashimi and tempura. Was busy but food came very fast and fresh. Next time will try main dishes.
If you drive, better go after 6:30pm. Before 6:30 not allowed to parking on the street.
However after that all good.

In the mood for Japanese so takeaway @Yokoso_Izakaya where I got agadashi tofu, okonomiyaki, and teriyaki salmon steak with rice and steamed greens.
The agadashi tofu is lightly coated in batter and deep fried and when dipped in the soy sauce mixture is so delicious, the silky smooth tofu just melts in your mouth.
I love okonomiyaki and the first bite took me back to Japan. A lovely thick well cooked pancake with cabbage, the sweet BBQ sauce and slight sourness of kewpie mayo, Benito flakes, such lovely flavours.
The salmon is nicely cooked with a lovely teriyaki glaze adding extra flavour, especially when it drips and flavours the plain steamed rice. The rice and greens pair well to make this a lovely variety of dishes for dinner.
