The Dear Luncher was off his chops when he made the decision to waltz into TGIs - a place not frequented since 2010. The staff member working the table was extremely accommodating, providing advice on which drinks had the most booze in them. The Dear Luncher has never had a full pint glass of Long Island Iced Tea before, but there's a first time for everything.
The pulled pork fried were great.
The ribs were decent too, albeit lacking substantial levels of meat. Must have been an aneorexic pig. The Dear Luncher had serious munchies though, it probably didn't matter what was ordered, it would have been good.
Dined here tonight before watching a movie. I had the pork & apple walnut salad & hubby had the all american cheeseburger. We both enjoyed our meals. Also in the entertainment book so good value as we only paid for 1 meal & got the other free. Service friendly.

Conveniently located on Chapel street, its a good spot to get couple of drinks and nibbles. Absolutely love their 3 for $30 deal, good way to try out everything that is on their menu.
The cheesecake here is a great contender for my favourite cheesecakes in Melbourne so far. Serving sizes are pretty big here; good for sharing between groups and/or couples.
This is the usual TGIF I go to. I love the service here and have never been dissapointed with any meals. I recommend the burgers and pasta here. It's pretty good and friendly service too.
love their pork ribs, they are among restaurant that cook well in ribs. Other dishes like salmon salad was very nice too. Price is not cheap but I guess its reasonable. Service was average.
A burger and fries first time visit to a TGI friday. Bottom less coke and a bottle of moscato . Service was ok atmosphere felt like i was at the pancake parlour. Had to remind the waiter of drinks ordered
Busy location .Great family friendly.

TGI Friday's is a good place to enjoy at Jam Factory with few cocktails and drinks while having some finger food.
We love buffalo wings, potato twisters and it's always delight to eat them here. Unfortunately, mains do not get the same treatment. Had once Texas Burger and do not exactly know what's wrong with it. Service is quick and staff are very friendly and this place is a go to place when you visit Jam Factory Cinema.
Used to come here all the time as a kid!! I distinctly remember watching their bartender as he flared, he was very cool and I was very impressed. 10yrs later and I'm a bartender myself so love to think my passion grew from that story hahaha! Great memories... The steaks are always beautifully done and the mushroom sauce was amazing, but I could just be looking through rose glasses. A great place for big family dinner, kid-friendly, while still holding quality. Can be considered overpriced depending on who made your food as Ive had some great food and not so great food, but the servers were lovely. Had many a birthday dinner here!
Always always always have a good time here! Their chicken wings are out of this world! Great courteous friendly staff! Celebrated many an occasion! Sadly not in Melbourne now but will surely visit again when I go back! Their unique way for wishing someone on a birthday with their own song is cool! Special shout out to their jam doughnut shot! Love it

21 years ago, TGI Fridays, the international casual dining giant, had its beginnings in Australia at the Jam Factory on Chapel Street. It’s been over a decade since I last came to TGIs, and there’ve been many new dishes added to their repertoire.
Love the steak and burger!
As we arrived in Melbourne, this is our first time stayed in South Yarra. Many good restaurants there, but our first choice was TGIF as we starved and need to ensure we have a good food.
it s friday and i am here. order a dish that will never go wrong. maybe i should try the wings and potato skins, they looks like must hv dishes there.
Had dinner here with my partner. Haven't been here before for food and was presently surprised by the quality and freshness of the food. I had the cajun southern chicken burger which came with crispy fries (twice cooked I think). And well seasoned. Chicken was super juicy and salad items were fresh. My partner had the steak with ribs and shrimp. Came with fries and onion rings. He enjoyed it very much. Pretty happy with the food overall and service and ambience is pretty fun too.
I first started going to this TGI Fridays in the JM Factory, when it opened in the 1990's. Great memories of working in this area, then having drinks and dinner with friends. We visited last Saturday night and there has been no change to the awesome atmosphere (I've added a few snaps to try and show this). This time around, we had chicken wings, chips and drinks. The wings had a Fantastic dipping sauce, (including Jack Daniels) the fries were crisp, and the soft drinks were bottomless (sorry - you gotta pay for each boozy drive no you order😉). I give TGIs a solid 4.
Invited by TGI Fridays to celebrate Christmas at their South Yarra store, we got to taste a range of the options on their menu.
This place is always good for a family night out. Big portions and friendly hospitality.

Thank god it's Friday and I can go eat a meal and go watch a movie. What better place to go for that meal than TGI Fridays? Located in a hard area to get food (who would have thought on Chapel St?) so it's one of the best choices you can make if you can stomach the somewhat steep pricing. I will not talk about the price from now on however.
Menu has a lot of categories, with a focus on the "app" or what an would in Australia be called a "small plate" type category. The TGI Fridays chain had its origins as a dive bar, so the focus on this bar food type meals makes a lot of sense. Try the sesame jack chips, nachos or and share some fries. Of course, now would be a good time to grab a beer or cocktail (long list!!) because it's time for the main event.
The infamous Three For All! It's a combo of the most popular apps here, the wings, the ribs and the Loaded Wedges. These are all as good as you would expect, but I had good expectations. Wings are normal, but come with white sauce, ribs are porky and good with sauce. The loaded wedges are not to my taste and honestly couldn't recommend.
We chose to wash all this down with two Long Island Ice Teas which were very expensive but suitably large. A good finish to the start of a good night.
Staff here are always lovely!
Last time I came I had these cocktails and chicken wings (2 serves with my boyfriend)... incredible!
The burgers are really tasty if you're in the mood for something fat and greasy!
I love anywhere on chapel, great location!
We always come to TGI for the absolute best Jack Daniels Burgers! They are so amazing with 2 huge patties and the best fries. The service is just as good. The staff is very attentive and nothing is too much trouble for them. It's really great to see staff who love their jobs. A special mention must go to Tim who is the best host around and he greets us with the biggest smile! We also want to thank Meg for waiting on us all night! Thumbs up guys. A job well done.
Dined here today ordered the sirloin with cheesy mash and seasonal vegetables. The steak was ordered as a medium rare. One side of it was well done the other with a distinct line was kind of medium. Not very appetising. My son had the triple hamburger special specifically requested not to add pickles and tomato as he has dietary issues. That request was ignored. It was removed promptly and we then had to wait some time for a replacement. Not an enjoyable experience when we wished to dine together. Full marked then to the manager having explained the situation he did not char he me for my meal. It was not busy. I would have expected better
We dined here yesterday and we were pleasantly surprised. Sure it was not busy and there was minimal staff. The hamburgers and chips were good as ordered. Beer cold and service attentive.
Had dinner here last night and the fajitas were very good and so was the burger. Our waiter was very nice and happy to help when required with any questions we had.
The mac and cheese bites are my favourite and I love the buffalo wings, great place to have a good time with friends and great area! The chicken garlic pasta was very good, a lot of sauce though. Sometimes there can be a long wait.
Went with friends last week . We love jack Daniels pork ribs, Also the fried mushrooms. This place is always busy & Friday can never go wrong. Good location & friendly service.
Got to love a 2 for 1 deal that the Jam factory have going on! Burgers and quesadillas all round. Great waiter who sold us really well on some extras for the table. Burgers were really well cooked! We'll be back especially if that deal is still going.
I visited this restarent to celebrate on one evening and was dissappointed with the time they take to give the table , for taking the order , and for serving . We came to restarent at 6:50 .we got the food at 7:55 .but the food i ordered was . Fish and chips , cajun pasta with shrimp and chicken . Restarent was so good .. Food was fantastic ,delicious.. I like the pasta . Food isnot very cheap ,but it taste great .
TGIF ... An American chain, spacious, pleasant ambience and enough seating. We went there for our anniversary, had ribs which were delicious and juicy. The thing I liked more was the tgif home made sauce. That was delicious.
The ice creams were tasty and big proportions. TGIF is a good experience and we will definitely go back.
Always love TGI Friday as they provide good food with worthy price. The service could be better but definitely a good place to have quick and reasonable price meal before movie.
First time at TGI Fridays.
Plenty of tables available to fit our party of 3, but we were advised it was about a 15 min wait and we could wait at the bar for table which is clearly a ploy to get you to buy drinks.
Menu had plenty of options.
We ordered the share platter (3for) deal. For main I shared ribs with a friend and our other friend ordered the chicken burger.
Food was tasty, but I thought for a chain restaurant that clearly served plenty of people that the menu pricing was a little exorbitant.
Ribs listed a side of chips and coleslaw and the coleslaw serve was about the diameter of a 50 cent coin and the height of small match stick. When you can eat the entire thing in one (lady sized) bite, it's too small to serve!
All the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a good night out.
TGIF is always a good idea any day of the week.
Without a doubt their Mexican fare is always top notch with generous portions of guac and sour cream.
Our go to dishes are either the quesadillas or the fajita tower ordered by the husband and I will always pick either a burger or a pasta.
This time around I tried the Mushroom Chicken Mushroom burger thinking it will be a party between two portabella mushrooms. But I was wrong. Deep fried and insanely tasty chicken patty between brioche bun and deep fried mushrooms and caramelised onions and mushrooms completed the dish. Oh yes there was a bowl of fries too with it.
Became a bit too fried for me after a few bites but I asked for it.
Finished the meat and the lot but had to leave the bun
Husbands order of chicken quesadillas was filling and super tasty.
As always :)
Whenever I come here with my friends we always have such a great time!! Superb food and great service!! I personally always Order the Jack Daniel's burger and get an extra patty! I like my burgers with 2 or 3 patties at a minimum !! They are a more premiumly priced restaurant but because the place never lets me down, I'm more then happy to pay!! :)
Came here for bro in law surprise birthday party, the food is the same as any other TGI but it was quite special when they (the waiter) brought out the birthday cake and they all sing for him :)
The jack Daniel's ribs never disappoints and i like how the atmospheres of the store. The staff is friendly, just somehow quite pricey and it's a bit hard to call the staff when they just keep roaming around. But overall I like this chain better than any tgif chain.
Definitely one of the better TGIF outlets in the chain, if not the best - having been to outlets in Melbourne Central, Southbank and Doncaster
TGI Fridays is such a busy place.
I find the menu quite pricy but the addition of the cocktail specials is a bonus.
Service is fast and efficient and it was easy to get a table, even though it was busy.
I had the potato skins, small but tasty. I then had a steak, you cannot go by the Jack Daniels sauce when ordering so the Jack Daniels steak is a great choice.
Binge eating in its finest. American style diner meals with large portion sizes, lots of greasy and deep fried food options. Fried mushrooms and Mac n cheese bites are an amazing treat.
I actually highly rate the Jack Daniels burger here. The sauce is absolutely delicious and makes the burger in my opinion. The large novelty cocktails and desserts look interesting but I've never had enough room after appetizers and mains to fit in dessert.
Pretty pricey menu, but great value if you have a voucher (eg: entertainment book).
When I walked into TGI Fridays I felt like I was in America! Loud music and huge portions! Setting, food and service were good but there was no "wow factor" that I was expecting
Great friendly staff!
Massive place!
Kind of dimlitted.
Nice food, especially the share platter.
Easy enought to get to, will probably come here again :)
Love this place great staff.
Jess. Berto. And John.
Best Long Island iced tea 's
Burgers and buffalo wings are amazing
Unbutton your Fly for TGI's!!. Our social gathering of 4 juggled 3 medium well done rump steaks with house salad, hot chips, delicately fried onion rings all served with mushroom style sauce. The cow was prepared to its tastifying pinnacle. The juiciness was locked in amicably with the buoyancy of our specified cooking time. The chips to me were fine but one of my friends determined that Epping's branch fixed better seasoning. The mushroom sauce was also slightly deficient in creaminess as this wasn't the gravy variation. I authorised my individually classic combination of Mac & Cheese Bites and Sesame Jack chicken strips. Sensational on repeat. So crispy, exceedingly flavoursome and toothsome from crunch to munched. You ought to trial them with a mash up of their infamous honey mustard and Jack Daniel's condiments. In my opinion, this synchronisation surpasses the original Marinara sauce accompaniment of the Mac & Cheese. With practically no adnominal lining to spare, we decided on sharing between the 4 of us, a hefty tall glass of chocolate caramel sundae mixed with pecans, cream and vanilla ice cream. Conclusively bursting at the seams as per the norm; TGIF is one of my all time stomach satiations of Chapel Street. :)
6/10 Amazing potato twister.... 6/10
Amazing potato twister but so so on the burger and steak. The steak was too dry and the burger not as good as it looks. It wasn't bad but neither awesome but no so 6/10.
Good service, nice food... not to mention, it is my favourite place for... pork ribs! The Baby Back Ribs were chargrilled perfectly, fall-off-the-bone (or should I say peel-off-the-bone) tender and juicy, glazed with their gorgeous tangy barbecue sauce.
OMG I am so full. Just got back from a farewell lunch for Sara the trainee. She got another job doing admin for the Defence force, or something like that, so we took her to TGI Fridays for lunch. I'm never excited about going to an American food chain to
