This quant little place located on the busy King Street in West Melbourne offers quality coffee and delicious range of vegan and non vegan breakfast options. I love how the staff is super friendly and the service is express fast. The cafe is usually busy in the morning and I like to go there after my morning walk for a hot cup of coffee.
Great find! Great coffee! A cosy cafe hidden away but you walk in and its small but bustling with customers. I thought the service was fast and efficient and coffee made well.
Really kind service and a number of different flavours to choose from, which are all very customizable to your liking. Cozy ambience and the cafe itself is located right across flagstaff gardens, allowing for a great view while drinking coffee!

One of my favourite cafes in the city. Despite how busy it gets in the morning, their coffees are always amazing. Customer service is amazing too! I especially love their Matcha Latte because it’s not too sweet. If you’re ever near flagstaff station or flagstaff gardens, definitely pop by Impresso Cafe ❣️
One of the most underrated coffee shop in Melbourne. Having its location just across flagstaff garden enable the customer to drink while staring at the garden. The interior is very spacious I must say, decorated with 80’s style posters on the wall which builds cozy ambience. The service was perfect you could not ask for anything else. The coffee itself (i had latte) is neither too strong nor acidic, enabling the drinkers to enjoy the fruity taste. It’s a really recommended place for hangout and longer stay.

Probably one of the better independent/hipster cafes in this part of the city, they use locally roasted Griffths Bros beans, and a nice La Marzocco machine.
I usually go for full milk, which rounds out the bitterness of the double shot espresso.
Has a dark roasted, full flavour with good intensity.

I've been going to Impresso Cafe for over a year and I keep coming back because the staff are amazing, and the coffee is brilliant!
I didn't check the time today and rocked up to their cafe 30 minutes after they closed, when the staff were were in the process of locking up. I apologised and started to leave, but they told me that they'd be happy to make me coffee!!
Honestly, such genuinely nice people and some of the best coffee in Melbourne. I've never been disappointed here before, and I doubt I'll ever be. Thank you so much to the staff for being amazing and understanding individuals - you've got a customer for life!
Really friendly staff who within a week knew my name. Love their borecks, decent coffee and fresh sandwich choices. Good when on the go. Also great to pick up something and enjoy whilst sitting down in flag staff gardens.

A random little cafe near Flagstaff Gardens, it’s an easy place to pick up a decent sandwich during your lunch break. Quirky wooden benching lining one wall, and a nice selection of exotic coffee, breakfast fare and pre-made sandwiches to choose from. Salami Ciabatta ($7.0) as much as I dislike salami/find it the more processed of the luncheon meats, this was a pretty good time. Melty cheese and just tasty, man.
This cafe is the best. I come here a few times a week and staff are super friendly and always greeting you with a smile. Coffee is one of the best I've ever had, best egg and bacon rolls I've ever had. If you're in the area definitely go here!
Staff needs to listen. I have been going there for almost two years. They are the only cafe I go to. I like to order they same thing. About 98% of time, the one new girl has got my order wrong. When I walk in and see her at the till ,I know this is going to be a long process. Today I got the wrong sandwich and the meat was frozen. I really do love going there but I have been having bad service lately. Maybe give the new girl more training so she understands what the customers actually want.
Made a good impression. I'll cop to having a negative attitude toward Asian baristas. I perceive them as being less into making good coffee than Italians and Anglo Aussies. (Nothing against the people, just their coffee-making chops.) The Japanese staffers at Impresso on the Saturday I stopped in refuted my prejudice, though. The mug of flat white I got there was full-flavoured, robust but not quite as intensely crema-ish as an Italian coffee, just smooth overall. The microfoaming was fine. It's harder to pull off a proper flavour/foam balance in a mug than to achieve it in the smaller coffee glasses that are the Melbourne standard. Impresso's barista did it well. It's a chill outpost along a busy stretch of King Street across from Flagstaff park, with a boho decor as exemplified by the coffee sacks drooping down from the ceiling. Impresso impresses me with its funky Fitzroy feel on the upper edge of the CBD.
Obviously underrated judging by the number of feedbacks. This place has one of best coffee I've tasted in Melbourne! Friendly staff and quality of coffee is always consistent!!

I have been pleasantly surprised to discover this cafe about 5 doors down from my office. The decaf is very good, and the place has a pretty good vibe.
Sometimes they can be a bit slow which is a challenge if you need to run back to the office, but they are always really nice, and they play normal person music.
Best coffee in Melbourne, great food and just a lovely place to sit and unwind or chat with a friend. Owners very friendly and welcoming.

I get a batch brew or pour over filter from here. The coffee is always excellent. The people who run it are nice and sling the coffee orders out quickly (and from the look of things, perfectly) during the busy times I've been there. Even though they get busy, the place feels calm, there's usually jazz playing in the background and the place feels welcoming and cosy. Good vibes and great coffee. Can't go past that
