The supervisor "Tony" was pretty good, where he goes above and beyond.  Food was served on time.  Tasty bulgogi, tofu stews, seafood pancakes is more tastier than some of the pizza I have tried , crispy and full of seafood.  Dumplings were "super" crispy also.    Would like to go back again    !!!

Friday night dinner~ having stir-fry octopus and goon man doo! Recommend the stir-dry octopus! The portion is quite big prolly for 2 people. The octopus is well-cooked as well. Also in the stir-fry there are potato, cabaggs and fish cake! quite surprise that i got rice as well! The dumplings is nice as well :)

Have returned here many times and I'm very satisfied with the all-you-can-eat menu kinda type of buffet bbq?!? Quite a bit limited options but it's enough for me. The meat marinated well and delish! Not really a big fan of pork but the beef here, guys, you have to try. They used to have the soup with stewed beef with the glass noodles which was soooo good, don't know why they crossed it out from the menu :(
Service is quite funny (like in a positive way, which made me n my friends laughed lol). staffs are willing to help, though they are not really good at english but still try to figure things out, which is, for me, pretty nice. Every time I came there, the staff crew was replaced with new people. Hence, we always experience the ' new staffs who are still trying to get used to their job scope', however, their attitude is still nice :)
The space there is quite quiet, it brings the feeling of family, like a kind of family-owned korean restaurant.

Overall, for that reasonable price (below $30 drinks not included) and delish dishes + standard service, I think this is definitely a great place to hangout with meat-lover gangs ✌🏻

A cozy korean bbq restaurant that serves all-you-can-eat korean BBQ for under 30 bucks. If you are a meat lover who like koreans spicy marinated meat and bbq, this is what you want. The spiciness in the marinade is very punchy and tasty. They also serve lettuces, mushroom and some squids along with meat that lighten the BBQ a bit with some freshness. Speaking of freshness, the only and major drawback is that you do walk in smelling of gardens and get out smelling of korean bulgogi, haha. They don't have ventilators installed. That's kinda annoying.

I love love the buffet - type - all you can eat offering here. When I'm a little short on money this is the place to go to have a good BBQ meal. Their selection isn't a heap but it is varied enough for me. You can order however many rounds you'd like and it does come with two side dishes too like spring rolls or soup/ rice. Have returned many times. I don't mind the fact that the decor is a little run down and not made up to be a fancy place for aesthetics. Gives a little charm and home feel to the place (as you can eat like a pig) 😂

I personally think $28 for eat-all-you-can is really worthy for person that can eat a lot and doesn't really picky on the meat. It comes with 5 refillable sides, spring roll&dumpling(prepackaged from store) and white rice. I think overall the food is not too bad especially the marinated calamari ring 👌 and don't worry they will change the hot plate every time before they serve you the new order!

Everything I like about this place:
- it is tucked away from the main street (on a second floor)
- it is quiet; great if you just want to meet up and talk and don't want to compete with background music
- always has spots (no need to wait in line etc., probably because it's well-hidden)
- it's cheap (bibimbap for $6.50 + sides)
- the bibimbap is good
Note: cash only!

Reasonably priced lunch ($6.5/8.5) bimbimbap w small side dishes. The food isn't too bad and the portions were large. The hot stone bimbimbap (pricier one) is great winter warmer

Had lunch here one month ago before on a very cold day. I wanted a warm lunch so I had the Soft Bean Curd Marinara Hotpot which came with a bowl of rice and 4 side dishes.

Food: The Soft Bean Curd Marinara Hotpot was definitely piping hot to warm me up during that cold day. It was still hot when I almost finished it as well. The hotpot itself was quite good and had generous amounts of tofu and pipis. All the side dishes were good, but I love the kimchi the most. The kimchi was not too spicy and a hint of sweetness. The whole meal was very warm and filling and only costs $14.00.

Service: There was only one waitress since the restaurant was small. She was really friendly and kept genuinely smiling which made me feel very happy during my time at the restaurant.

Bibimbap lunch special was $6.50 I think. It took a little while to arrive and it wasn't by far the best bibimbap I've had, by you know what, it was the best $6.50 lunch I've had for a long long time. They brought kimchi as well. Amazing value for the money.

We had heard a lot talk about Korean BBQ places and for our annual Xmas dinner with friends, a mate of ours organised it here at Seoul House so we finally got to try this Koreans BBQ experience. We had also heard a lot of negative things about this place in particular from other friends so this was a good opportunity for us to try it for ourselves as we didn't decide on the venue.

We were first to arrive from our group of 12 people and I will say form first impressions, I was not impressed with the look and atmosphere of the restaurant. It felt quite old and dingy which made us feel quite anxious about dinning here. We were seated on to big circular tables pushed together which was quite odd.

Once the group arrived, we decided on the $28 all you can eat buffet which included unlimited servings of beef bulgogi, spicy pork, spicy chicken, beef ribs, squid, octopus, mushrooms, lettuce, dumplings, hot pot soup, spring rolls, steamed rice and Korean side dishes. The brought the hot plate and burner over and the waiter put down the first set of meat and from then on we cooked the rest our selves. Both tables has its on hot plate and burner, our table went through around 9 hot plates as we ordered multiple beef bulgogi, pork, chicken and other dishes over the course of the night.

As a large group, this is such an enjoyable experience, cooking ur food, laughing and joking around whilst sharing the side dishes etc, it's great fun as a big group. Things like the decor and atmosphere of the restaurant become less important in bigger groups dinning experiences as we were really enjoying ourselves by this point.

As this was our first experience of Korean BBQ, We had no expectations or anything to compare this place to. After trying the $28 buffet, we can say this place is very good value for money and I would definitely come back again for sure. Although I can see how some people could fault the food for not being of the highest quality cuts meat or the side dishes not being as good as other places, I am sure there are plenty of gourmet Korean BBQ places around Melbourne but for $28, we were stoked with this meal. The only other low point would be the staff weren't super attentive as we had to keep calling them over for serviettes, water, and to tell them we needed more food for the hot plate, however this wasn't something I was expecting at a cheaper Asian restaurant and is not something that would stop me returning. All in all, we both left with full stomachs from all the food and sore cheeks from all the laughs!

The buffet is great for carnivores like myself. There're all sorts of meat (pork, chicken, beef, calamari) as part of the package. The challenge is that by the time all the meats are put together on the bbq plate - they start to taste similar. The food is ok but the variety is limited and it's not quite spicy enough for my taste. Having said that, it doesn't stop me from having copious amounts of it when I am there.

...was good value for money, we'd definitely recommend coming this place again. Yes the service wasn't satisfactory, but who could complain when you're only paying $28 to eat as much meat as you want?

Seoul House Korean Restaurant is located on the corner of Russell Street and Lonsdale Street, very hard to miss. The restaurant requires stairs climbing, at least I didn’t spot an elevator. Was there for a quick meal but we ended up getting quite a few dishes that evening

The setting is more upscaled than I expected. I come in expecting to get a $6.80 bibimbap in a bowl as a lunch special, and sit in a fairly mediocre sort of place, then eat a hopefully good bibimbap with a spicy sauce. But it surprisingly nice inside. A bustling city/ A chance for zen reflection/ What shall be for lunch? However, instead of bibimbap, we ordered Korean BBQ instead. Here are 2 visits to Seoul House condensed into one post. The overarching theme is BBQ. All of these are $15.50, but there are some more pricey ones. They come with assorted kimchis. We ordered: Beef ribs Pork belly Beef scotch fillet spicy chicken oyster mushrooms Here comes the contentious point. The staff at Seoul House cook for you. Some people like this aspect, some people don't. I appreciate the sentime

Great value dinner hit $28. We had good service, and plenty of refills although you usually have to chase up the waiters for this. The soup is lovely and the BBQ plentiful. Keep an eye on ur grill as they don't turn if off, it's all up to you.

Good value. The bbq buffet for just 28pp is affordable. Stay with the meat and avoid the seafood. The beef ribs are great. However, air ventilation should be improved. After grilling for a while, the whole room is too smokey. I remember coming here once for lunch during summer and it was too hot, indicating that something should be done... anyhow, would return for another bbq dinner.

Good value. Prices are similar to Dondon/Dontoo but food is better quality. I only wish there was soy or some other non-spicy flavouring option to add to the bi bim bop.

Interesting. It's actually a surprisingly small restaurant and the main order is definitely the $28 all you can eat. On our table of 7 everyone had that and we did have to request a few top ups but those arrived in good speed so it wasn't too bad.

They could have been a bit more at tentative on the ordering and about drinks and stuff like that. Every time we wanted something we had to signal especially but I think they were a bit under staffed as the Head Waiter looked a bit grim.

Tasty food but pay attention to the cooking because it can get smokey!

The menu wasn't too bad. Not extensive, but not so limited that we didn't find anything worth ordering either. The place specialises in Korean BBQ so we ordered a beef bulgogi BBQ along with stir-fried seafood, rice and Korean pancake [which was supposed to be an entree but arrived last of all the dishes!]. As with most Korean places, we also got complimentary side dishes, and there were a lot of them too! The beef was fantastic - well-marinated, tender and had that nice smokey flavour from the BBQ. The pancake was really interesting, reminded me of the fried oyster pancakes from Taiwanese night mark

My husband and I ate all we could eat, at the all you can eat! This was our second time back, the price hasn't changed over the last 4 years!! Everything tasted good, perhaps just the miso soup was a little too salty. Staff were very nice, maybe a little too shy though. Some ambient music could set the mood better.

My partner and I both had an all you can eat BBQ grill, neither of us had ever tried Korean before but were pleasantly surprised. Nice flavours and variety, sitting at the Flinders Street Station feeling quite stuffed. It was very cool to see the food cooked in front of us, staff were friendly, overall a good experience!

A cash only establishment, but to make it up they have great menu and with special price lunch only menu that won't break your piggy bank. As for the taste it's quite good. The size of the Korean dishes are pretty huge as well. It's just not handicap friendly at all
