Great place for an after dinner thing. It was cosy and funky looking. You go up and order but when you do, definitely have a look at the desserts that are available. Mouth watering. Great coffees and drink selection.
This cool and funky cafe in Footscray is easily one of the best places to visit out west. I love the vibe here, with it's comfortable decor and super friendly staff. Specialising in cocktails and desserts, everything at Bad Love is just so much fun.
With a gorgeous array of desserts and jaffles available, the food is top notch and it's often really difficult to choose what you want. They also have fabulous pastries, and the blueberry bagels are a fave. Bad Love Club is a great spot for a catch up with friends day or night, and it's casual atmosphere makes you feel extremely welcome.
I wasn’t an alcohol drinker so staff made me a wonderful mocktail which was lovely.
Ambiance and feel was fun and relaxed with lots of plants.
Staff was friendly and prompt and my friends enjoy their alcoholic beverages. Would recommend
Bad Love Club combines two of favourite things, cocktails and desserts! This cute American diner inspired spot makes amazing baked goods such as pies or brownies and pair with creative cocktails (this one is rimmed with crushed nerds candy).
Every time I'm in Footscray, I pay this place a visit. They've got some of the best coffee around, a great beer selection, AND vegan comfort food of both the sweet and savoury variety. While I enjoy their baked goods no doubt, I usually opt for a toastie instead. (Vegan cheese and beans is a classic.) The staff are always super nice and the music is always good. It's also nice and close to the station if you're in need of a quick bite or drink before your train - but trust me, you'll want to take your time here.
Very happy to find this awesome place after doing some groceries. Ahmazing coffee with some cake. The ambience is jus soo relaxing. And of course have to mention abt the couple. Very friendly.

I loved the fitout of this place. The vibe was so funky and cool. A 50s pin up girl style diner. Had a great array of cakes to pick from. Loved the cake I tried it was so fresh 👌 Lovely service a great addition to Footscray
Came for the bingo and stayed for the drinks. Had an absolutely awesome night at the first Halloween themed bingo. Ordered a very decent selection of drinks, all of which were 10/10. The desserts were rich and tasty, not too sweet but super decadent. Would recommend sharing between two unless you're a dessert machine. Staff were great, friendly and happy to chat. Will certainly be back for some savoury snacks and any other events!
Besides the authentic footscray Hospitality, you can see the love & passion with the Bad love club crew , from indiviually grinding each coffee order to go , to the absouletly unreal qaulity of Bagles , bakery assorments and jaffles. The coffee is probaly some of the best coffee ive had in australia , & i cant wait to try a few cocktails and some of those freshly baked goods ,

We popped by Bad Love Club to satiate our post-dinner munchies. It was hard to choose just one from the assorted baked goods displayed. The boozy pecan pie, lemon meringue tart and peanut butter chocolate pie were neck-and-neck but in the end, the peanut butter pie was chosen and we were not disappointed. The dark chocolate cookie crust had a nutty taste (spelt? buckwheat? Didn't taste like a standard Oreo crust) which complemented the whipped peanut butter filling and dark chocolate ganache. This pie was decadent and delicious without being sugary sweet - probably better appreciated by adults than kids. Bad Love Club looks like a dodgy dive bar from the outside, especially at 10pm and service might not be the warmest, but the desserts make up for it.
Came on a Sunday afternoon. Seated immediately as it was quiet at the time but filled up on about 20 minutes. Ordered the ‘In My (Sh)room’ Jaffle and the iced mocha. The mocha came out in no time but the jaffle took a while. I guess for a jaffle and bagel place, I didn’t expect to wait so long. It does have a laid back vibe (note the Rasta playlist that day), so if you’re in a rush or have somewhere to be, maybe reconsider. The jaffle was great though. Weren’t stingy with the shrooms and the caramelised onion added more sweetness and the quince a surprising tarty punch every couple of bites. Enough cheese that there was a bit of melted, stretchy cheddar action when you bite in. Will definitely go again for a light brunch on a ‘sweet FA’ kinda day.

Excellent service. The cakes I have eaten here were always magnificent - each bite is a pure delight. Chai latte was delicately delicious. The place vibrates really good vibes - I felt at home the moment I walked in. Would definitely revisit

This place is awesomely random! I've had cocktails and sweets here - both have been indulgent and delicious. This is a great place to catch up with friends in a relaxed environment with very friendly staff. This should be every person's PMS cure venue!
I pass this little cafe/bar everyday on my way to work & something about it always intrigued me. When I stop at the lights next to Franco Cozzo my eyes always seem to catch a glimpse of this place.
Months later I gave it a go & now I know why my intuition was drawing me here all along! My goodness what amazing food & drink! Coffee was to die for, the peanut butter pie was the best I have tasted & service unpretentious & cheerful. The peanut butter pie had the most amazing balance of flavours & sweetness. It was not cloying & you could taste every flavour. Not sickening where sugar takes over everything that you taste nothing but sugar overload. It was perfect!
Please give this place a go, it’s wonderful & it’s tasty! I will be back!

I came here for a quick lunch and was really happy to see so many gluten and dairy free options. My El Loco toasted sandwich was really yummy and my daughter ate all her vegemite and cheese toasted sandwich. I’ll be back to try some vegan shakes and gluten free bagels as well.

I can’t help but fall in love with every aspect of Bad Love Club. The jaffle and the pies were out of this world, the coffee and milkshake were fab, the service was A+ and to top it off, a cracking soundtrack accompanied our meal. Even the vivid colour scheme of the interior, coupled with assortment of greeneries scattered around the place, added to its overall appeal.
For some reason, Southern pies aren’t that commonplace here. Yes, you can get them but it’s always the same old pecan pie or cherry/apple pie; even the more common pumpkin pie is hard to come by. Well fret not, pies lover, Bad Love Club is here to save the day. If you haven’t tried a Chess Pie (the ultimate Southern pantry pie), please get down here ASAP! Rich custard filling, with a super thin crispy layer of caramelised crust. Want a chocolate version? Get the Footscray Bomb Pie. Same deliciousness with the added bittersweetness of chocolate.
What’s even more fabulous than the mere fact of pie is the glorious cocktail list and the selection of craft beers available. Come night time and you get booze to go with your pies. Time for me to pack up and move to Footscray.

My boyfriend and I were very interested to try this cafe after being intrigued with their menu. I was contemplating between The One that I Adore jaffle and the one with pulled pork jaffle (I do apologise that I forgot the name of it), but I chose the former as I do love pumpkin and feta together. My boyfriend decided to get the sourdough and strawberry jam. Once our meals arrived after roughly 10 minutes, I have to admit I was really excited to try the jaffle that I'm pretty sure I kinda burned my tongue! But seriously, I never pictured having pumpkin, feta and caramelized onion in a jaffle! The flavour combination in a jaffle is remarkable and having with the chutney made it even better! I also tried a bit of my boyfriend's sourdough toast with jam and that tasted so good! That jam is the best strawberry jam I've ever tasted! I was interested to see what desserts they have and the manager explained the desserts quite well. I decided to go for the pretzel and marshmallow cookie to have for takeaway. I never would have thought pretzel and marshmallows go well together, but this cookie has changed my mind!
Overall, everything about Bad Love Club is absolutely amazing! The food is incredible, the service is lovely and the price is worth it! I highly recommend going to this cafe! I wish I took a photo of my food, but I'll make sure to do so when I come back here again!
Have been here for take away coffee, breakfast and also multiple times for drinks and dessert. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious. Chess pie is probably my favourite so far!

It's always a good time at the Bad Love Club in Footscray. I've been for breakfast and for an after dinner treat, and there's never a flaw. The jaffle fillings are always top notch as well, and I always look forward to my regular hot chocolate. The cakes and sweets on display at night are kick ass, I would happily eat a whole blueberry chocolate tart sandwiched between pecan pie and chess pie... Love your work guys!
Oh yeah, any place that offers Sailor Jerrys and Dr Pepper as a mixer is a 11/10 in my book.

Came by for a Midweek brunch, had the Ham & Cheese Jaffle, I don't know if it's because I haven't had that since the 80's, but it was thoroughly satisfying. My Tea was brewed nicely (yes, it's possible to stuff that up), service was friendly and professional. Will be coming back at a more appropriate time to try the interesting selection of craft beers!
Edit: Came in on a Saturday night around 10pm as part of a pub crawl(had let them know in advance) with a large group of about 30 celebrating a double birthday, they were ready and took excellent care of us before we moved on. The Chocolate Layered Rum Infused Birthday Cake was delicious and the birthday boy and girl where more than impressed. Thank you for a great night.
Dropped by for drinks and dessert at the boozy bakery. The drinks selection were creative and I loved the different options but the pièce de résistance was the dessert selection. The honeyjoy cheesecake was delicious but unfortunately we were full so I was unable to try more desserts. I will be back for your chess pie though 😏

Cruised passed here early Saturday morning for a toastie. Had the El Loco and it was tops. The service is spot on, super friendly and I'm just stoked for the people behind this idea. I hope Footscray gets behind it.

Had the meatball jaffle and was pleasantly surprised. Piping hot and very delicious. Lovely friendly service by people who are passionate about their place and Footscray. The desserts after 5pm are also great, so far have sampled the chess pie and s'mores brownie which was delicious. Coffee window is also genius for morning trade.
Amazing cakes, good coffee, and all until late most nights. I love this Cafe and will continue to go. Tonight, I got a Spanish cheesecake. It was so delicious. The base was spiced and it had a cherry syrup. Lovely and indulgent. I have also had a peanut butter chocolate tart in the past, which was very rich but enjoyable. If you are an evening coffee drinker, I recommend trying this place.
Had a gorgeous slice of lemon cream pie with a Sour Girl cocktail at the end of an evening.
It was the perfect ending to my evening and can’t wait to go back and try something else.

The best old school toasted sandwiches! We tried the homemade meatball, cheese and ham & cheese. So hard to determine which is best, so order them all! Coffee is nice and service very friendly. Atmosphere also very cool and chill. Haven’t visited it at night when it turns into a bar but evidently the cocktails are top notch.
I stop by here most weeks on the weekend to grab a coffee before heading to Footscray market. Their coffee is really good and they have one of the best iced lattes going around. Had a salmon and cream cheese bagel last visit too which hit the spot. Super friendly service.
Love love LOVE Bad Love. Just a perfect little spot for a drink and some dessert. Planning on returning so I can try the coffee, and maybe another beer while I'm at it. Pies and cakes are heavenly.
