Came here for the well known Acai and wasn't disappointed. Everything else looked great but I was eager to try my acai. It was fabulous. This is the place to come for that healthy. Do ask for a small amount of ice otherwise, it can end up being too watery. Service was quick as well. Prices are pretty reasonable.
Kids welcome. Dietaries catered for. Wheelchair and disability friendly. Parking isn't too bad, just watch those signs as the inspectors are pretty quick here.
Best Acai bowl in Melbourne. Peanut butter one is my favourite and the smoothies are awesome. Clean and lean green smoothie is the way to go
Peanut butter acai bowl was delicious, loved the crunch added by the cacao nibs. Could do with some more fruit on top. Overpriced but all nutrition bars are.
Yummo!
Is it overpriced? Yes, but that’s to be expected. The green smoothie was amazing and the choc mint slice was so silky smooth exactly the 3pm chocolate hit I was after.
Very good, loved it.
Was unfair to have only one girl working at such a busy time of the day. But she did serve everyone with a smile on her face.
I'm in love with the Nutrition Bar. It is honestly my favourite heathy food go-to place. The green smoothies and protein balls are to die for 😍
Nutrition bar is perfect when you need a quick health fix or something on the go! They offer a varied menu with smoothies, bowls and a few other treats! Slightly pricey and small but delicious nonetheless! The peanut butter Acai bowl is prob our fave!
One of the best acai bowls going around and deliciously clean and green smoothies. They annoyingly used to be closed on Sundays but now they are creating healthy tasty delights 7 days a week. People seem to be whining about the prices on here but they are completely consistent with what you would pay for these menu items in any other establishment. Sadly healthy eating isn't necessarily cheap but at Nutrition Bar you receive nourishment as well as taste so that's value enough for me
Great selection of smoothies, fresh ingredients. I wish they would use less plastic packaging though :( maybe one day?
Smoothies are relatively dense and not packed with ice. Good quality.

Yummy, healthy and delicious! Want to live at this place but it's just too dam expensive.
Peanut Butter Acai Bowl with extra PB = my favourite! 💜 I love coming to nutrition bar, haven't tried many of the meals though as I usually get the same thing every time!
Tried to Coco Whip here and DAMN IT IS SO GOOD! Really expensive however so delicious and just about the only vegan soft serve you can find!
Took away a delicious grain salad once. It was delicious! All the ingredients were incredibly fresh and everything went together really well. Looking forward to returning.
Juices are a must.
Check out their juices. The staff are good at guiding you on what to get as the crazy amount of options can be a bit daunting.
Some say the juices are a big pricey but they are definitely worth it.
Green smoothies, acai bowls, raw food, just a few selections from the #cleaneating trend that Melbourne has been crazy about for a while now and it's still going strong. Nutrition Bar joined the scene with its clean cut interior, no fuss menu, and a display of a range of healthy food and snacks.
Mixed feelings. I was happy with the food and i got many different things and pretty much all of them were nice but i have to agree with other people who have mentioned that the staff are rude and yes they are arrogant and not friendly.
Really good healthy smoothies. My new favourite richmond go to
I was feeling lethargic at work so I decided to pop in here last week to pump myself up with some nutrients. I bought a green smoothie for breakfast and an acai bowl for lunch. Both were pretty pricey but for what is going in it, I thought it was good value. The smoothie wasn't what I expected as it had the consistency of a juice. I didn't mind as it still felt good going down but I really wanted a good dose of fibre. The acai bowl (my first ever) was really tasty. I can't believe how good it tasted. The service was quick and friendly and I felt a lot better than usual by the afternoon. I'm looking forward to going back when I need another boost.
Finally! Great Acai in Australia!
So happy to find this place after having Acai withdrawals from Rio.
Awesome selection of foods for fit and healthy eating :)
Love it!!! Best smoothies, best acai, helpful, friendly staff. So happy you're open on Sundays now. Best hangover cure!
Very underwhelming. I love trying out new eats that are based on nutrition and whole foods.....however this was a big disappointment. The chicken, brown rice and broccoli meal was like a microwaved ready-made hospital dish. Rice was overcooked to a stodgey ball looking thing on one side of the container, chicken was tasteless and dry, broccoli had lost all colour and crispness from being overcooked.... Not exactly nutritious, just an expensive low-fat meal. My shake was made up of a lot of ice.
Will not be coming back.
The Almond milk is the best. Mix with the drip coffee - best thing EVER!
INCREDIBLE. Came here for the first time today and tried the Protein Acai Bowl and a vanilla protein ball and they were both out of this world! The guy who served me was so friendly and the ambience is really cool too! My only critique would be how long it takes to get a smoothie/acai bowl made. Luckily I had heaps of time today so it didn't bother me at all, but if I was in a rush, I would probably be a little agitated with a 10-15 minute wait for a smoothie. But other than that, I've got nothing but love for this cute little gem!
Delish. This is the one place in Melbourne that I can trust I can come in for something super healthy on the go! Absolutely addicted to the Choc Power Me Protein Balls and Liquid gold smoothie. Friendly staff, quick service and easy access location :)
Finally! Clean healthy food on the go. Love everything about this place from the friendly staff, great service, protein balls and shakes. Go the nutter or paleo + choc protein powder yum!
Love the place. Exactly what Melbourne needs. When I'm out and about and want a healthy smoothie and salad, it's great to drop in to Nutrition Bar for clean and affordable fast food. Keep up the good work guys.
Will be returning!. Loved the nutrition bar and their acai bowls are to die for!! Definitely will be returning. It's about time we got a great raw cafe here in Melbourne
Mermadeen, we are really regretful you report your experience as a 'disappointment'. We have been opened for 5 weeks, we are trying our best to get everything right in a market where people expect perfection. We are a new concept and are tweaking and training all the way. We have had sports dietitians assist with the menu and labeling, I think you'll find if you look closely it's correct. It would be appreciated if you could email as directly in future with your complaints so it is brought to our attention immediately and we can work on being better. info@nutritionbar.com.au
Just discovered this place. Had an 'early bird' shake which was delicious!! Perfect one stop shop particularly after exercise. Reasonably priced and good ingredients. Already appears to have a following. Highly recommend.
Good fix. New place on swan st that caters for the health conscious crowd. Smoothies, Acai bowls, juices and other snacks are their specialty. The shop has been fitted out with a great look and it creates a fresh vibe.
The Acai bowl with blueberry, banana and granola wasn't too bad, $12 was a bit steep though as it's not a big serve. The also claim so many foods as super foods on their menu board that I wouldn't class anywhere near super - peanut butter, LSA and so many more.
I'll return to test out the smoothies and juices.
Worth giving a go!
Nutrition Bar serves 4 varieties – Original, Green, Protein and Peanut Butter Acai Bowls. They all consist of a base of acai, banana and coconut water, with various additions – spinach and kale (green), protein powder, or PB. Generic toppings include freshly sliced banana and strawberries, with muesli, chia, nuts, cacao nibs, etc.
On a recent weekend in Melbourne, I was desperate keen to get my “acai bowl” fix – enter Nutrition Bar in Richmond. If you’re into clean eating – Melbournites, you need to come here!
I love their protein balls and raw snickers bars/vegan desserts. So delicious.
Cute little spot with friendly, fast service. I have special diet requirements and they were happy to assist. The dragon fruit bowl was amazing.
