Spent our time with my beautiful wife on our 18th anniversary at the Terrace for high tea, before going for our experience we enjoyed the many walks sightseeing through the gardens and reminisced about the our wedding day which was held here also.

The best thing about this place is the location. The service and food/coffee are average at best. The awnings/rafters need spikes to deter the birds under the balcony. The birds are a serious problem to the point we had to come inside to avoid being swarmed. The staff didnāt clear the tables for the
Nice quick lunch. Good variety of foods for takeaways and dining in. Friendly staff. š
Regrettably The Terrace will be closing in about 20 days. ā¹
Lovely place, within a short walk from public transport, ease of access, nice flowers well taken care of gardens!
Note they do not accept cash - card only. Surprisingly well priced and good quality food. We got takeaway Roast Veg & Quinoa Wrap ($12.50, vegetarian) and Chicken and Avocado Baguette ($12.50). Also note they are open public holidays but there is a 15% surcharge.
Fabulous location in the botanic gardens. The breakfast menu has several vegetarian options, which I love. It would be great to see the place open a little earlier for the morning people, at least during the Summer months.
I attended the Terrace cafe on Anzac Day. I t was very busy but the staff were amazing . They kept calm amongst the obvious shortage of staff which is happening everywhere due to the coronavirus problems. The little outside kiosk couldnāt open because there was no staff ! In the Terrace cafe had sc
