I come here for my coffee and donut during the work week and it is amazing. The coffee is one of the best around the CBD and the donuts are always fresh; you'll have one even when you're not intending to! The pies are fantastic if you can get one during the lunch rush, it's always fresh and tastes really good. Highly recommended!

I visited this cafe on Friday 10/11/17. I had a chunky beef pie and chips. My friends had chicken curry and lasagna.
The ladies working were very nice. Which makes me feel a bit sad to write this awful review.
The lasagna. The lasagna was a pile of mince, with little flavour, NO PASTA , and bechamel sauce on top. Seriously, a lasagna with no pasta at all! She said it wasn't nice. It looked revolting.
The chicken curry was reportedly tasteless. It smelled like mustard and also did not look very nice.
My pie... well, the pastry was pub style puff pastry, full of promise and looked very tasty indeed. The filling had no gravy at all, none, but was instead filled with large chunks of beef, made with a cheap cut, and so under-cooked that there was plenty of tough beef, gristle and hard fatty pieces to bite down on. It was very disappointing to say the least.
No one finished their lunch and we went back to work feeling very dissatisfied.
The only saving grace for this cafe is the chips. They were delicious. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and melted in the mouth.
Unless you only want chips, steer clear of this cafe.

This place has good coffee. Smooth beans with rich flavour. The milk is always perfectly frothed. The decor may be simple but good takeaway coffee is always guaranteed.
