One of the best cafe ever you can find the melbourne CBD, fantastic place for business meeting or friends catch up. very friendly staff and pro service. Food and coffee are excellent. Good work Chestnut. Highly recommend.
I grabbed a piccolo latte here and it was really good. Creamy, warm but not hot, and the service was ok too. But I must have 2 heads as I was getting some rather odd looks from the barista hahaha I thought the scars were gone but maybe not hahaha

Earlier in the week, the building where I work had an emergency evacuation drill. Meant we all had to leave and we were stuck in the rain. Due to the amount of people that work in the building there were going to be delays of getting back inside. So, what better idea but for me and my co-workers to get out of the rain and find a nearby cafe to have some drinks? We ended up finding the Chestnut Exchange!! What a hidden gem!! The people that get to work in this building are very fortunate to have this cafe so nearby to them!
Their food menu looks delicious but unfortunately didn't get to try it since it was nowhere near lunch time and I wasn't hungry. Instead I decided to try their iced chocolate. Iced chocolates are my favourite drink but ordering iced chocolates is always very risky - I have had times when I have had the most disgusting iced chocolates ever. So I always get nervous when I order one and I hope for the best! And wow, it was a fantastic iced chocolate!! I really enjoyed it. It even came in a cute mason jar!! Wasn't what I expected at all!
Great meal! Very happy. The chips were amazing, and the meals were huge! The service was very quick...could easily eat in a lunch hour. Will definitely be back 🙂

Went to this place for lunch on Friday. Love the coffee there ,nice staff and service. The linguine marinara was impressed me and really been remarkable. Will definitely come back:)
Best salad ever!! Highly Recommend. I had this beautiful calamari salad today. The portion is huge and taste so delicious. Calamari is so tender and full of flavor, salad is just amazing for me as not a salad fun person. Service was great and food comes out really quick. So surprise busy lunch chef still can mange the food in a short time period. I will definitely come back and keep going guys. Good Job.

Always excellent. Theo and Mike (chef and barista) are pros. Great customer service, great food, consistent quality coffee. Prices are ok, speed of service depends on the time of day, but the atmosphere is great and the vibe fun - excellent lunch options and the club sandwich with home style fries is a killer comfort food. Get into it.
I went there this morning and had a amazing egg white omelette with feta and turkey and sundried tomatoes, and the nicest sourdough bread I have had, great food, good service!

Great breakfast. I come here for breakfast once a month and I always enjoy the bircher muesli and toast for $10! A filling, healthy and enjoyable start to the day. I look forward to coming to this place.
One of the best veggie focaccias I've had. Coffee's not bad either.
Never Disappoints. Been here for lunches quite a few times and the visits are always spot on! Really good food and service all around. If you go there I recommend making your way down 5-10 minutes earlier than the peak lunch time (1pm) as it does get quite busy.
Best thing on the menu for me are those focassias...yum!
Average. 1st coffee wasn't bad, asked for less milk 2nd coffee and received more! Hard hard is it to make coffee people?
The chicken club special was ok not great, chicken mayo mush 1 side, toast was mushy as well.

Best Muesli in Melbourne. The mango and banana muesli is absolutely amazing. A plate of fruit juice-soaked muesli with tart yoghurt and fresh fruit. A perfect, healthy and cheap start to any day.
This restaurant serves the best food. The lemon pepper calamari just melts in your mouth and the creamy salad dressing for the Greek Salad is to die for. Other great dishes are the Seafood Youvetsi, the Lamb Salad an the pasta dishes are rest also. Theo the owner and chef is charming and has great customer service style. It's just a great place to lunch in the CBD.
The staff here went above and beyond to facilitate myself and my friends. We arrived in between breakfast and lunch times, and they happily served both between our group. The food was excellent and presented in a timely fashion despite our awkward timing, the staff were all wonderful and the cafe was very well maintained.
