Very big spread of eats. Reasonable coffee. The large coffee is genuinely big - not like many other places that call it a large but it is not really big.
Never tried food here but the coffee is actually decent, despite the negative reviews. My soy flat white was perfectly hot and milk was heated nicely and service was quick. Good if you need a quick coffee before your train.
Their chicken and bacon panini is one of my fav, good quick meal before my work. Service is not great but acceptable. I already came back several times and will come back again!😋
Best coffee place ever , they make the best almond milk lattes, this is my regular spot !!! Love it so much 😍 the staff are all so friendly I just love coming there and they serve you quickly also it's awesome 😀
I had to leave for work earlier than usual so there was little point for me eating breakfast so early so before having to catch my second train ended up buying a Mixed Berry yoghurt at Baguette, which is located inside Flinders Street Station. There were only two berries in the yoghurt but this didn't upset me since I prefer yoghurt without lots of fruity and chunky bits. It was cheaper than what I thought it would be at $3.90 - at my usual train station the same thing would probably cost you anywhere between $5 and $7, unless you went to the supermarket.
It tasted nice as well.
Quick casual takeaway cafe at Flinders Street railway station. I've got coffee and food here on a few occasions and was satisfied each time.
Conveniently located at flinders for a take away cuppa. Muffins are really fresh here and so are the other products on display. Coffee is a kick and nicely frothed. Thumbs up!
Yesterday I wanted a quick stop before catching the tram as I had not had my caffeine fix yet. I know that there are many amazing coffee places in Melbourne but it was a little baguette shop at Flinders st station that caught my eye. There was quite a few people waiting for coffee and so I decided to give them a try.
Fantastic food. I had a breakfast wrap delicious scrambled egg and bacon concoction. My latte was bed nice too. Great selection of food.
More poor transit coffee. I give this place a thumb's-up vote just barely, more for the quality of the baked goods than for its coffee. I don't know where Baguette sources its pastries -- I can't find any website, Facebook page or anything else online giving background about the joint. It doesn't even have a phone number, as far as I can tell. But the almond croissant I had the other day was decent (and it would have been better if there was a toaster oven to heat it in.) The other sweet pastries and savoury sandwiches looked good too. My flat white, OTOH, had insipid taste and almost no foam. At least it wasn't over-espressed, and it was better than one I had from Coffee HQ in Flinders Station a few days before. When I have to catch an early train in the future, though, I'm getting my coffee outside the Myki gates.
I have no problem at this place and I don’t understand all the bad reviews that talk about that lady with piercing? She’s nice to me though idk bout you guys 🤣. Love the staff too and a few of em know my order :) Always getting me some “Large hot chocolate please?” whenever I feel like it 💪🏾💪🏾
The coffee is amazing, and so fast I never miss my train. I have been getting a coffee twice a day, on my way to work and my way home (and a donut now too). The staff know me and my order and are always kind :)
Baguette is my absolute favourite spot to eat at after a long day at Uni. Their food is delicious, fresh and hot. Egg and bacon quiches are sublime, sausage rolls are rich and juicy, paninis are always tasty and yummy. I remember being in a rush one time and having to stuff the panini I ordered into my bag, as I had to catch a train. I pulled the panini out of my bag 20 minutes later and when I opened it up, it was steamy and hot. Their desserts are sensational, my favourites being the vanilla slice, cinnamon roll and passion fruit yogurt. I’m not too sure why there are so many complaints about the customer service here. I think the service is great. They are always so friendly to me, they make sure I receive my order and they even gently caution me not to touch the top of their display counter due to how hot it is. I had one lady behind the counter give me a discount. I hadn’t even asked for it, and I got money off! I rave everyday to my family about how amazing Baguette is. This place is second to none at Flinders Street. The only thing that isn’t ideal about them is probably the price, but at the same time their food is such high quality, that I don’t mind paying for it and for that reason, Baguette gets my praise. Thank you to the lovely ladies at Baguette who served me well this afternoon.
A busy café with speedy service with many lovely sweets!! I can't believe I got both food and coffee in 2 minutes. The staffs are patient, nice, and would always make sure they get my order right. Especially thanks for double-checking my coffee with 'Oat' milk since we both wore masks and it could be quite easy to get it wrong in the noisy station. Highly recommend bircher yogart and Hawaiian schnitzel panini. Thanks a bunch!
Ive been a regular for years here
AMAZING coffee & fast friendly service
the chai lattes & the salami panini are my go to!!
not sure why there are so many horrible reviews
i love this place!
even with the morning rush you never have to wait long
