Tukk & Co had me hooked a few years ago when they happily informed me they only did the one size for coffee. That size of course was the right size. No excessive milky weak drink but a consistent pouring regular size. Add to this the great little snacks and nibbles and the white and light wood interior and they are onto a winner.
Quick and friendly service also helps sell this place.
This cafe is in an odd multilevel layout opposite the NAB building. It's a cafe in the morning and something very different at lunch. I previously dined in for lunch about a year or so ago and the burgers were great then.
Today it was just a good coffee and a banana bread for breakfast.
Quite a nice cafe with a good layout.
The upper section (street level) is mostly focused on coffee.
My strong latte is velvety, smooth and chocolately with a nice intensity.
One of my fav cafes down in this area of Docklands.
Ideal for a quick bite.
It could be quite busy on Friday but never had to wait for more than 7-10mins.
They have cold/hot soba noodle depending on the season. I’ve tried the tempura vege soba noodle. It was pretty tasty but I wish they added veges to it (it only came with 2 pieces of tempura with some pickles topping).
If you wanted something healthier, rather than the salmon poked (which I don’t think was very fresh), I would definitely go for the wasabi prawn (with Kale & Greens) poked. It was absolutely delicious.
Not a big fan of their curry selection though.
I heard their burger was the best out of all (though I’ve never tried).
The poke salad bowls are to die for! I had the spicy chicken and it was faultless and perfect for a hot summer's day. Full of fresh, tasty ingredients with a general serve of chicken and salad dressing. Thanks guys!
I ordered chicken burger and it was fast service during lunch time it could be busy but the staffs were friendly and did decent job. The bun was nice but if they could have milk bun, it would be nicer, the chicken was well fried and portion was just right. Coffee however just average. Would I coming back? yes I would prob for lunch and trying Poke next time.
Food for the health conscious. Especially when you are looking for a high packed protein, and low carb bowl. Look no further cuz Tuk & Co is there to satisfy your Pokéd needs. As for the taste, it didn't hit the mark for me. Flavours was slightly blend for my liking. Unless i was on a low sodium diet, it will fit just well. But hey.. good amount of salmon, fresh vegies and small portion of rice at $12.50 I was happy to pay a little extra for something a little fancy.
Definitely on the upper end of the Docklands Cafes, serving both savoury and sweet items.
The coffee is great, definitely top 3 in Docklands. The beans rotate regularly, a pleasant change, and two options between a fruitier or chocolate-y option is always nice (I only go for 'Twin Peaks'). Po-Kay bowls are always a delight (Salmon has been my go-to the past 3 months...) and the soft shell crab burger is pretty good too.
Always worth the visit if you're in the area!
(Their logo is pretty cool too!)
Good place with speedy service and reasonable prices. Small cafe upstairs with a take away counter downstairs (limited seating)
Had the cold soba noodle soup with tempura prawns, yummy!!!
The chips here are also amazing, nice and crisp.
Finding a place for a quick bite but needing something substantial and delicious. Tukk & Co. came into view having walked down in front of the NAB 700 Bourke head quarters. Seemed to be quite popular amongst the professionals and after eating there, we can see how.
Currently being fixated in everything japanese caused the immediate order of curry rice with chicken $11.0 as we kept seeing it made and eaten on the very addictive Netflix series, Terrace House. Very delicious and clean is how we would describe it. Ordered a soba noodle dish also but can't remember what it was and don't think its on the menus that are uploaded here. It too was clean and delicious, both were nicely seasoned and just right.
Service was relatively quick by very welcoming and friendly staff. To manage the queues and orders, you're handed an electronic device that beeps once your order is ready. We only waited around 5 min before we collected it which was perfect as the rush of people coming in for lunch grew larger and larger.
Overall a great experience and wouldn't mind trying the rest of the menu especially the burgers. Till next time, this is Our Foodie Find!
The best chicken katsu curry in Melbourne!! The gravy is sensational - the flavour is spot on. And the rice is always fluffy and cooked perfectly. 10/10!!
Cold Brew Specialty Coffee for 24'c day. Will win my ❤️ if they serve in a glass #NoTakeawayCups & perhaps a little more smiles from the crew 🙌
Had the Tukk signature... It was the business! Everything about it was first class...the meat, the salad, the sauce and the bun. The bun has the additional of pumpkin seeds to the normal sesame seeds....unusual but a nice change. Will definitely be back to try some of the other options. Only open weekdays for lunch but it's worth the effort to make it down to docklands. Highly recommended!
An elusive Cafe due to their 7-4 timeslot but I managed to make my way here.
On order; fried chicken burger, soft shell crab burger, and chips.
Both weren't particularly amazing, but not bad. The chicken patty was a bit dry but that's pretty much my only complaint. Their sriracha mayo was leaning more towards the spicy side but that meant that their sauce wasn't as creamy as it can be.
Their buns are quite unique. Tasted like a brioche or a milk bun but was topped with sesame, pumpkin, and poppy seeds. No complaints though as it was a pretty good vessel for a burg.
Overall not bad. Will certainly try a double patty/double cheese with bacon burg here some time in the future. Watch this space.
Friendly and Super fast service. Good prices. The pork belly bun and the fried chicken bun - awesome!
And the fries with srirracca Mayo delicious.
Looks pretty popular too. I'm sitting here hogging a table while I write my review.
This place is serious about coffee. They offer you a choice of beans matched to milk coffees or black and know how to get the most out of the beans.
I tend to bounce between the two milk options depending on my mood. The variety helps to keep the flavours fresh in your mind.
In summer they introduced a sparkling coffee. Its surprisingly sweet despite having no sweetner added.
Food wise they don't disappoint, but for me this place is all about the coffee.
Came here during lunch. If you are near docklands and want to grab lunch at work the burgers are the go here. I cannot find get the pulled lamb burger (sigh) but I will try to get there before it finish next time. Too busy and quick selling are the main issues.
Tukk & Co is an unassuming eatery located on the walk from Southern Cross station to Ethihad Stadium - it's across the road from the NAB building. The Swine must have walked passed this establishment a squillion times - today was the day to try it out. It's an interesting set up with coffee and cake type schtuff up top, and a lower downstairs area for more substative foods. Think Burgers, Noodles and Curries. Today the Swine decided on the Chicken burger which was 11 bucks. The Swine thought good deal. This was absolutely delish - reasonably sized, crunchy, saucey and extremely tasty. The Swine could eat 10 of these - yes that goodski! The mushroom burger was a healthier option and this also went down well. Coffee upstairs also rated surprisingly well. Staff were a little non plus in their clogs -but this can sometimes be a good thing (laid back persona not the clogs). All up the Swine was glad he tried Tukk & Co ( terrible name by the way). The Swine will be back to try more from the menu. SWINE APPROVED!
After walking past this tucked away place many times, we finally decided to try the food. I had the japanese curry with fried chicken. The curry was nice, chicken coating was crunchy, and out of everything i loved the fries the most. Good value for money.
Im not sure if i would come back.. the dish i had was nice but i do prefer the other eateries around the area.
Tukk & co I the Docklands is fairly new - established only 6 months ago. Plain Burger and chips, to allow consistently in my reviews with the other burger places.
Time (from entering store to receiving meal) = 11 minutes!!! I had lunch here on a Friday. Friday is the busiest day for this place. It was a big crowd. A bit of waiting till me to be served. The reason for the fast turnaround time was the good processes and attentive staff.
Bun - really good. Held up well to the end of the meal.
Meat - Good. Not too loose or firm.
Salad and cheese - Fresh. Just the right amount.
Verdict - This place makes a consistently good burger (I've actually been here before).
Just had the classic burger and fries. Fries were delicious with the sriracha mayo and burger was awesome too. Quick service. Recommend going
Good cold brew, and has cosy little basement area. I can imagine this spot is perfect for Dockland side corporate workers. If i walk pass again I will definitely try again for their filter coffee.
Tukk & Co is situated opposite NAB on the bridge and this hidden gem of a place cooks a serious burger.
Coming in at $10 for the standard and $13 for a double, Tukk & Co is an awesome lunch spot in an area with not much else around.
There are 2 areas inside Tukk & Co, the top level is for coffee, cakes and sandwiches and down below boasts a fast pace burger bar. 4 burgers all under $12, 4 boas at $4.5 and 3 wraps.
Hopefully they will start opening on a weekend soon as Tukk & Co would be a perfect before the footy feed.

Tuck and Co are a recent addition to the Docklands scene. They were the first burger bars on scene and I maintain one of the best around in the Docklands area!. I highly recommend their spicy chicken burgers. I know that they say their soft shell crab is the bomb but…..eh, personally I am not sold on it.
The roast pork belly bun = yum! Must go back and try the burgers, they look great. Can be a bit of a wait during the lunch rush but that's because it gets quite busy.
I don’t usually go to Docklands so this was a bit of a special adventure, even more than expected because I got lost. It turns out the cafe is located at the top of the bridge from Spencer Street walking to Docklands, right opposite a NAB. It was actually pretty cool inside because there’s the actual cafe part where you can get coffees (including fancy filtered coffe!), cakes and then stairs you walk down t get proper lunch food which includes a selection of burgers and a choice of Japanese Curry.
I love this little place! Coffee is by far the best in the Etihad/Docklands area, and they offer either five senses or proud mary, definitely worth a visit just for the coffee! This morning I had a ham and cheese croissant from here, which was great. Then for lunch a crispy chicken burger on brioche bun with coleslaw and sriracha Mayo. The burger was a-maz-ing. It won't disappoint, get your skates on and get down here. I've previously had their crispy fish salad and pre-made salads which are also the bees knees. Try the green bean and coconut salad if you want something healthier than a burger.
Favourite coffee in the Docklands. Grab one every morning on my way to work. Staff are super friendly and engaging, and remember your name and coffee order after only a couple of days. They obviously love their coffee and they're good at it.
Tukk & Co have a cute and simple fit out, great specialty coffee menu with delicious cabinet cakes, and downstairs there's a burger bar which has a quality range of takeaway burgers and bún style tacos. The chicken burger I tried was cooked perfectly and had great combination of other fillings. Will be back to try the others
The Docklands in Melbourne..... What a strange place! I'm much more familiar with the shabby chic of Sydney rd, or the warehouse-y style in the back streets of Fitzroy.
The people wandering this concrete jungle were mostly dazed looking office workers, blinking in the bright sunlight as if they hadn't seen it in a while, packing into nameless eateries and No-frills cafes. They formed into chattering queues in front of cash register operators, as if by long established habit, as the busy lunching hour kicked off in earnest.
In the midst of this chaos I found Tukk & co, a cool, calm oasis in the midst of the chaos, it's ultra modern white minimalist fit-out soothing and relaxing, and for some bizarre reason, less packed than the lesser coffee venues on either side.
The coffee selection included roasts by Proud Mary, Five Senses and Market Lane, the staff were 95% more hip(ster) than anyone else for miles around. My strong, perfectly extracted coffee, my stool by the window, and the smiles I was given by the staff, were more than I had hoped for in this bland corporate vista.
I spotted the downstairs kitchen as I sipped, and decided I must try the food next time I'm here, and see if it lives up to the vision....
And to all you office people, you have gold here (in coffee form), so why the hell would you go anywhere else?
First time I've gone in despite walking past daily. I felt like their soft shell crab burger that I always see the sign for. Got a little confusing as window sign says $10 but board inside said $12. Apparently the signature burger is the wagyu not the crab mmm. Ok I only had $10 so wagyu it was. Tasted good not overly sloppy and a good amount of salad and cheese. Nowhere to sit inside really, more of a stand and eat or takeaway. Two long benches with only 3 stools. Get the takeaway then turn left when you leave the shop and find a seat opposite the big screen at Etihad stadium.
I had been meaning to try this place since it opened. It's usually very busy during lunch, with long queues forming from 12pm. Seating is also very limited so I had to grab takeaway and eat it at work. Burger was tasty and chips were good too, but it would have been better eating it straight away. Not bad for a lunchtime burger fix though. Next time I'll have to get in early and grab myself a seat.
I don't go to Docklands very often but ended up at this cute cafe on a Friday for coffee. Shared the salted caramel cookie sandwich which was nice with the chocolate & caramel filling. I'm not much of a coffee connoisseur but I really enjoyed the coffee (I think from memory it was Proud Mary?) The staff were very nice, mineral water was a nice change & loved the decor. The downstairs lunch bar looked very popular with local workers. I wish I worked closer so I could visit more often!
Dropped by here during open house. Was surprised to find this little gem of a cafe in Docklands. Four coffee beans on offer including Market Lane & Small Batch. and the friendly staff put the time to tell you the difference in taste.
Also the sparkling water was a nice touch!
Love the design of the cafe, very simple and pretty. Food here are delicious and you can also find the most famous coffee beans (Small Batch, Market Lane, 5 Senses and Pround Mary) here! Filter coffee is a must try!
Not bad for a Friday lunch nearby work. Reasonable prices and yummy crispy chips. It gets pretty busy during lunch hour so get in early to beat the queues
Sandy is the man! Best coffee from an amazing barista. If you get the opportunity make sure you get a V60 from the man. Didn't get a chance to try their burgers but heard they are amazing. Can't wait to get back there.
I work in a building adjacent to Tukk & Co and rolled my eyes at yet another coffee shop that was opening up (being a non-coffee drinker, I'm sure you can appreciate my apathy).
It wasn't until a friend had mentioned that they sell burgers that I discovered the downstairs nook that is very easy to miss.
Every meal that I have gotten from Tukk & Co has been pretty brilliant. Some highlights:
Pulled Lamb Burger- Amazing juicy lamb goes well with the Sriracha sauce
Soft Shell Crab Burger- The perfect crunch and decent crab
Pork Belly Steam Bun- *salivates* If only they could make this into a pork belly burger!
If you're in the Docklands area, do yourself a favour and get in for some noms!
I visited this place first week they opened and they had no seats, they were trying to do this standing room concept but I told them it wouldn't work because people like to sit down a bit have a little chat etc, the following week they got some seats and the vibe is much better now.
Cutie Pleasure. Has become my latest haven away from the office. Such friendly staff and good chill out atmosphere.
I had the vanilla and rhubarb croffin with my long black the other day. The coffee beans they had used tasted floral for some reason, I felt the scent added another cheer up flavour to my otherwise stressful weekdays.
Nice little cafe near the stadium, great coffee and tukkos are super delicious
Great place for coffee and quick nibbles. Lovely space, high quality coffee and super friendly staff, oh and don't forget to try their famous tacos!
I usually have Long Black for my morning coffee, which can be a hit and miss for a lot of cafes. They actually weigh every single shot here which is pretty crazy for an office environment cafe, and I heard they gonna do some Market Lane coffee soon which I love to goto over the weekend but look forward to have it over the week as well
The fish salad is amazing, I like the touch with the lightly fried noodle on top which was a bit of an exciting twist, the crunchiness works well with the soft leafy salad! I ll visit again!
Coffee is great here!! You should also try out their menus!. Nice lil meeting place near Southern Cross Station, beautiful atmosphere, wonderful coffee and food. If you are nearby, definitely give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
So many things to eat and drink here!. Overall a very pleasant place for coffee or lunch. Very conveniently located, less than a minute walk from the Bourke Street exit at Southern Cross station. The coffee here has the full flavours of a true coffee, made with care and attention. Also not many places offer you sparkling water to go with your coffee do they? Love sipping coffee here as the sun shines through the decorative leaf/plant slotted wall panels. Downstairs at lunch time, there are so many options to choose from: buns, burgers and tacos - yet I just can't get enough of the pulled lamb burger!! Good luck to this new cafe. A great addition to Melbourne's food scene.
Hot Chic Taco. Full of flavors and tastes amazing!
Great concept wonderfully executed. There is the need for an extra til to order and pay at down there though so that the queue doesn't put people off.
I really hope this place is successful as it deserves to with the food they provide.
