the lobster brisque was really good, though the lobster was over cooked. The lobster linguine was probably my favourite because the lobster was nicely cooked :) the risotto was lovely too. The tuna entree was probably my least favourite.
When we arrived here, we had a great welcome with the staff. However, when we ordered the lobster, they run out off it. We were disappointed at that time, but the staff kindness helped us to ordered one from another shop. When we have the dishes, it was shocked me. Like it was amazing and lovely food. I really love the lobster.
Amazing Food. Decent serving size. Fresh seafood.
Will definitely comeback and try the lobster ramen next time
The lobster roll is the best!!! One of my favorite restaurants.🥰
We had the mixed berries Japanese soufflé pancake and the tropical garden dessert.
The tropical garden dessert was very refreshing, with a citrus flavour.
While the mixed berries Japanese soufflé pancake was super soft, served with vanilla ice scream, strawberries, blueberries and grapes. It melted right away in our mouths!
Definitely a spot great for dessert, while we will definitely have to try their food the next time!
The food here can be considered expensive given the lobster roll is $30 (!) but one may consider it worth the money - we had the lobster risotto and it was everything we wanted and more, so creamy, succulent and cooked to perfection. Even came with a mini bisque on the side.
We also had a few dishes from the Gyoza Gyoza side, including tamago (surprisingly cold?), pork and garlic gyoza, karaage chicken with mustard miso (chicken was crispy and well-seasoned but the miso didn’t taste like much - might just order the ordinary chicken next time) and the soft shell crab salad (just the right amount of crunch but on the smaller side). All the food was well cooked and came out quite fast so we didn’t need to wait long at all!
The yuzu sorbet drink was too sweet unfortunately, but I don’t have much of a sweet tooth.
I've tried a few lobster ramen's in Australia and overseas and Unabara is up there with the best! I'll be back soon for sure!
I didn’t go to a Seafood Disco last night, no, because I didn’t want to pull a mussel 🤭
And while some people don’t like fish puns, they kinda kraken me up 😂 🦀
Unabara means, in Japanese, sea or ocean and when I found out about this place the one single thing I could think was: I am taking a boat trip to Japan, yaaaaaas 🥳
But don’t worry, I didn’t need to marry any fisherman, because I don’t need someone to string me along 💃 this little place is just at the CBD and they are so popular that they have two locations just one next to the other!
Both of them look beautiful and inviting and if there is one thing you can be sure when you visit them is that not only will you have the best service and food but they actually even know a fish’s favourite song! 🎶 Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you drown 🎶
It’s the true ultimate place that a Japanese and seafood lover can ask for!
The menu is not only very interesting but they have a few unique items with lobster and also play around with desserts and defying-that-creativity-line drinks! They also have a all day brunch menu with very good looking items with that mix of Aussie and Japanese style that I absolutely love, so this place has from its concept to the actual reality a huge expectation by the consumer - that doesn’t disappoint!
The prices are quite reasonable for the brunch menu and the rest and more seafood based option is quite more expensive but still a fair budget. It is certainly good value for money and you have find options for everyone ☺️
After going through the menu, we thought it would be a good idea to try a couple of entrees, mains and a dessert so here is what we had:
- Grilled Corn - not only it came beautifully presented but the actually taste was incredible and insanely good 😍 I have to confess that I haven’t tried grilled corn until last year (shocking I know!) but since I discovered, I have become addicted to it and have tried quite a few! This on in particular was outstanding not just for the portion and looks, but the actual taste! They use a Japanese sauce on the bottom and that takes this item and that ‘simple grilled corn’ to a whole new level! It was a great starter and would have it again 👏
- Tilapia Sashimi with Yuzu Dressing - we went a little beyond our comfort zone when it comes to sashimi and escaped the usual tuna or salmon. The kind fish option sounded pretty good too but this is not a very usual option in Japanese menus so we decided to go for the tilapia! The waitress also highly recommended it and it came nicely presented too, with 4 pieces of a thick and fresh tilapia. A very appreciated entree again, and I regret not asking for more sashimi actually! The quality is really good and I would recommend 👏
- Lobster Egg Benedict - when it came to choosing some mains, oooooooh, that’s when the problem started 😂 in a good way! They have so many good options that I seriously couldn’t decide which one to go for. Their most popular options vary from grilled lobster with fries (similar to fish and chips) to lobster with mashed potato but we thought that it would be interesting to see how they would plate and create a lobster version of an egg benedict! Portion is good and it’s definitely eye catching and insta-worthy (more in real life than pictures to be honest because it was shot indoors and we all know that’s not the best option 😂). It comes with a huge tall toast slice with lobster meat on top and creamy hollandaise sauce that was INSANE 👏 the curious thing about this meal is that that combo not only works wonderfully well but they take it a step further and add a 63 degrees poached egg on top of that. Oh WOW 👏 the taste is incredible! Because it wouldn’t be a breakfast item without the famous avo, they plate it nicely with a rosette sliced avocado on the side 👌 if you’re a seafood lover, you’ll love this. It you’re a breakfast lover, you’ll love it even more. If you don’t like any of those, what are you even doing with your life? 😂 definitely a good one here!
- Lobster Linguine - this was one of the popular options and an absolute must try for me. And while I was thinking I would be happy with it, I never thought it would be THAT good. This seriously surpassed al expectations! With fresh made pasta the pasta was perfectly cooked and seasoned with a tomato flavour that we might have or might not have fought about it 😂 I cannot believe this was so good still! The best part is definitely in my opinion the pasta and the whole sauce that it comes involved in but wow the grilled boston lobster that a true experience! We had to open it using our hands (although we were offered a clam cracker!) and the meat inside was SO GOOD. This is a winner. Period. Do it, my friend, go for it! 👏
- Octopus Tentacles - we thought about going for some calamari but again, why not try something a little more bold?! Deel fried octopus tentacles! These were crunchy and not oily and that mayo, oh my god, the mayo 😍 I am still not sure it I would rather have calamari or the octopus as this little side dish, but I genuinely loved this option and I think the serving was also quite appropriate 👏
- Unicorn Temptation - for the piece of resistance! The ultimate drink 🥳 they have a special drink on the menu that while we were considering the options, we absolutely had to try! I honestly cannot remember the ingredients of the juice but I remember it was vegan friendly and the ingredients were quite appealing to me with summery fruits! The fairy floss on top is just so extra and so so sooooo needed 😂 I remember also that the price was around $16 and it sure can serve 4 people, being a very good value for money! 👏 would recommend for taste and obviously for an incredible insta-shot!
- Tropical Garden - for dessert we had a couple of good options but I had already laid my eyes on this one and it wasn’t negotiable 😂 why? Because this is a raindrop mochi that I had never seen anyone else in Melbourne doing so it was obviously a must try! The mochi is not like your usual mochi and it had a semi hard jelly consistency! It’s quite wobbly too and very amusing to watch it giggle and to eat it 😂 with comes with honey comb and incredible and must add on black sugar syrup and as topping they use a crumble, passionfruit and mixed berries. The edible flowers were incredibly appreciated too 🤗 portion isn’t massive but I guess this Isolde of a gourmet item and quality overrides quantify for sure 👌 it’s - good treat to share at the end of a meal like we did but I think that having 2 smaller plates with 2 raindrop mochis would be a great idea too because I don’t want to share this again 😂😍
The environment was very pleasant and the people around us were also having a great time and very happy with their experience, without a doubt! Even though this place goes a little more above your usual brunch, I think it’s definitely worth those extra $ for the quality of food and for the service they provide. It makes sense and it’s still reasonably priced. Plus, the exclusive items they have is worth the time and money for sure 👏 what a great experience!
Celebrated our five-year anniversary here at Unabata Lobster & Oyster Bar at Emporium. We ordered the Seafood Platter for two and it is to die for! So fresh, tasty and amazing! Thank you for the food and excellent customer service ❤️
We came here and had the teatime set which is a $15 deal where you get to pick two tapas and have a drink. We ordered the kimchi gyoza and cheesy okonomiyaki. The gyoza was really crispy and delicious and the okonomiyaki was really good. We also ordered the japanese iced coffee with mixed soft serve and that was really good too. Will definitely be returning
We went there for some evening bites. The ambience is great with friendly service! Love the lobster roll. A great item on the menu.
Stopped by for lunch today and had the Lobster & Buckwheat Risotto. Absolutely delicious! Best part was I was in and out all within my lunch break. Great staff and efficient service is a plus!
Lobster is the specialty but I found that the sashimi and desserts were actually the stars of our meal here. Very friendly and hospitable staff, which is great to see.
Good as always. Love it’s lobster roll. Hope they open another one in the southeastern suburbs.
The ambience is great with friendly service! We ordered the Grilled Half Lobster with Mornay sauce and gyozas as an entree. The lobster was creamy and relatively filling. The rose soft serve + iced coffee drink had a strong sweet flavour, however was probably not the best combination with coffee.
so good , nice and clean, love this place,🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰recommend lobster roll and risottto。staff are friendly and helpful。😊😊😊😊😊
We went there for some evening snacks, and we were taken by surprise with their awesome and delicious food items from Japanese to Chinese to cantonese. All the dishes were really fantastic and very pocket friendly. Also the ambiance is pretty cool and has friendly and welcoming staff. We had one takoyaki, a delectable Japanese dish, which was cooked really well and one fried rice, which was equally fantastic. Although from quantity wise, its quite disappointing.
Best chicken wings ever!! Couldn't wait to tuck in and eat them before taking a photo.
Visiting all the way from melbourne, found this lovely place to dine with our friends. We had their lobster risotto, it was really amazing! Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves great seafood ☺️

Its amazing. Friendly staff. Affordable food. So good gives me the best high on life if I could liquidate this down i would be smoking this everyday because this is what gave me life today. Astonishing.
This food was so bomb they had to call a terrorist response unit. I would literally spend the rest of my life soaking in an never ending bath tub of their seafood boil.
The staff were friendly and polite and the manager was on point running the restaurant like a Chicago bull games from the golden days of Jordan.
If you don’t go here before you die, you wasted your life.
Seafood bowl, oysters and lobster linguini were all amazing!! Food came very quickly and the staff were very helpful and polite. I wish I lived closer because I would come here everyday if I could!
Enjoyed a lovely lobster, mash and cheese. Really great food and loved the experience. Also had a lobster roll and finished with a nice dessert. Recommend!
All seafoods were so fresh and affordable price and I like the design and layout of restaurant. I highly recommend !!! It is a must come place!! Also the strawberey mocktail is 😍
4.5. Located inside the Emporium Shopping Centre, this restaurant was very convenient to get to, and also great for after dinner shopping!
They serve japanese tapas style food - so it was great to come with friends and family to share food and have fun.
We ordered:
TAMAGO YAKI - Japanese egg omelette - This was served cold, with seaweed pieces on top and with some sauce to dip it in. You can see the different layers as you pick it up with the chopsticks, as it was rolled together carefully during the cooking.
TORI NO KARAAGE - Deep fried bite size chicken pieces with salt and pepper - This was very crunchy, but a bit too salty for me.
EBI TEMPURA - Deep fried tiger prawns coated with light crispy batter - The batter was so light and when drenched in the sauce provided, it tasted really nice and fresh!
WAFU STEAK - Grilled steak with wafu sauce - This arrived in a sizzling hot plate and was very tender and flavoursome.
PAN FRIED GYOZA - Minced garlic and pork gyoza - These gyozas had a lot of flavour in them and was nice and hot when it arrived.
GRILLED SCALLOP WITH CHEESE 3pcs - This looked awesome when it arrived, however, the cheese didn't add too much to the flavour and was a bit light in taste.
GRILLED HALF WESTERN AUSTRALIA ROCK LOBSTER - Garlic butter and mash potato - glazed with Kombu Shoyu and fried garlic. Served with beer battered fries and side salad - The lobster looked amazing, and the meat was really nice, however, there wasn't too much meat in this lobster as we opt for the smaller lobster option. The mash was really nice and creamy.
MIXED BERRIES SOUFFLE PANCAKE - Served with fresh berries, drizzle with honey, topped with fresh cream and vanilla ice cream - This was worth the wait (it said 30min wait but it wasn't really that long especially since you are eating and waiting). The souffle was very airy and light, and wobbly! That's how a good souffle should be! Along with berries and honey, it was just so delicious!
We had so much food and loved the souffle! It was a great dinner, thank you Unabara! I'll be back for the other desserts I had my eye on!
We have the Unabara lobster roll. It’s very yummy as the lobster is fresh & the beer battered fries are crispy. The oysters are fresh & succulent too.
We just came back from Perth and had some of the most amazing lobster over there, so I didn’t expect too much, but the lobster here was very fresh and tasty. The seafood plate it just what we need after a long week of work, light but full of freshness. The paste is also very delicious!
Come here with my mum. Everything is good.I love the tea set most. The iced matcha is excellent. We enjoyed food here.
Lobster rolls were tasty , and the chips was good.
Very sweet staff and very yummy food!!! Highly recommend
food is amazing , i’ll definitely be coming back 😍
Very nice space, extra bonus is that it’s quiet during the weekdays. Food is tasty, great service and great ambience. Good location for a quick food.
Ambient is very good! Love the matcha ice cream and takoyaki is very fresh :) will try the lobster roll next time
We went here with friends after our road trip. We are craved for seafood and ordered oyster, lobster and scallops.
The oysters are so fresh and we ordered ponzu, natural and yuzu salt. Ponzu is my fav among them.
The grilled half lobster is great and served with salad and chips. The sauce of lobster linguine is just perfect match with the lobster and linguine.
We had a great moment here.
Ordered lobster 🦞 roll and lobster 🦞 risotto here. Lobster 🦞 roll is so good and both dishes have plenty of lobster meat. Recommend.
Food was nice here! Definitely would recommend the lobster rolls above everything else I tried. Only downside, had to wait close to an hour for some food to arrive but otherwise would come back!
Best lobster rolls in Melbourne!
Tried the lobster roll and it tastes good! The okonomiyaki is so so but overall the experience is good
Unabara is a seafood-lover’s dream come true. Specialising in lobster, oysters, and fresh seafood - you’ll find plenty of options from lobster rolls to pasta dishes with a Japanese twist.
After a long and hard contemplation, we went for the Tokyo Lobster Roll, Lobster Linguine and Lobster Risotto.
My favourite of the three has to be the lobster roll - honestly, you can’t go past it! Buttery brioche bun that’s crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with cool and refreshing lobster meat encased inside. The nori, avocado and tobiko complemented the lobster really well, and the wasabi mayo gave a nice kick! It’s also served with the crispiest beer-battered fries and a delicious and warming bisque.
The risotto was quite unique, made with buckwheat which added a nice and chewy texture. The egg was poached perfectly - the yolk was runny and it paired so well with the risotto. It’s actually quite light in flavour, and creamy but not overly heavy. We polished it off clean!
The linguine was delicious! The pasta was cooked perfectly, with a slight bite. It was served with half a lobster, which looked stunning on the plate. It’s tossed lightly in garlic and lobster oil, and again not too heavy either.
The hospitality was exceptional, and we were well taken care of by the staff. Definitely worth a try!
Thank you so much for having me!
It’s a Japanese Lobster Restaurant I guess, I like the environment, very neat and bright. The services are very good too! I ordered Lobster Bisque and Prawn Cocktail.
Both Bisque and the Prawn were great! The Bisque soup is creamy and feels good in my mouth. The lobster it self are thick and totally worth it. You will also taste a very different flavor with the prawn, taste very nice like never before.
I might wanna try another dishes for the next stop at this restaurant.
The food is ok and the staff is friendly. They offer the free pancakes that my friend is really into. The pancakes are fluffy and not too sweet. Pretty good in general
The mark of a good restaurant is not necessarily its size , but the quality of its food and the generosity of the staff. The food here is delicious. The freshness of the food is so promising. Staff’s here are accommodating. Definitely I’m gonna referred this awesome restaurant to my relatives and my friends.
The classic New York lobster is so good. The lobster meat tastes good together with the sauce. We ordered the lunch set and it comes with the wine which is really worth it. Good experience so far :)
Nice ambience and decor. Arrived on a weekday night so didn’t have to wait to be seated. Waitress was kind and welcoming. Ordered the staple lobster linguine plus a Yuzu honey drink and it was ready in minutes. Fresh lobster with punchy rocket on the side! Yum!
We ordered a Tokyo lobster roll, cheesy okonomiyaki and a soufflé. The lobster roll is cut in half, which is suitable for 2 ppl to share. It tastes pretty nice and fresh. Like the combination of wasabi and mayo in the lobster roll. The soup has strong seafood flavour but it works pretty well with the wasabi sauce. Nice okonomiyaki with creamy flavour. Love the soft soufflé pancake!!
Second visit here 🙆♀️
Great food and ambience! Ordered the garlic butter lobster, miso scallop, the seafood carbonara and was not let down! My final verdict : definitely going back here for a third run of lobster meal in the near future!
Staff very helpful and friendly... heads up that you will need to wait 20 mins for the souffle but it tastes great! Matcha latte is warm and milky nice ambience not wish the lighting could be a bit brighter for photos but that adds to the ambience
My son have fish allergy, staff take it seriously. Food is nice.
Nice lobster and good service. It is a very good experience here. First time been here but really like the food here. They tastes so yum and look fantastic as well.
Cheap Japanese lobster shop, very recommended. We had grilled lobster with cheese, Tokyo lobster roll, lobster pasta (no ramen at this place), and a fruity souffle, each of which was delicious, delicious and fresh.
the staffs are nice. good ambience even though not really spaceful. Foods take some timw to come out, but they are nice. The ribs doesnt have lot of meat but it still good as it is not too sweet.
The place is beautiful, we came here on thursday night, bit crowded, but we enjoyed it. The food was good and the staffs were friendly! Must try!
The fries were amazing!! Risotto was a little ubdercooked but everything else was great. Loved the lobster bisque very flavourful. Will recommend to try the Mexican one if u like corn, avocado and tomatoes with ur lobster😃😃😃😃 The place was also very conducive and great place to come to if u want a quiet and relaxed place to catch up with friends and families!!
Had the lobster roll today. Last time we had the lobster spicy miso ramen. Lovely and friendly staff. Food was very nice and delicious! Would definitely recommend!
Lovely surprise dinner coming into a nice and clean entrance with some fancy decor! Menu has many options and variations of the famous western Australian rock lobster! A must have are the soft lobster rolls which come in 4 different flavors so we started from the top. The New York style. Which means we must come back to try the other3. Also had a250 g Lobster which is a complete meal on its own with mash chips and a refreshing salad!
Fast and quick service. Our group of 6 was already assigned to a table. Friendly staff too.
Unfortunately we weren’t aware of the no outside drinks policy but the staff were nice to put our drinks in a fridge.
Very clean restaurant and comfortable with the atmosphere.
Been wanting to come here for a while. We tried the oysters, lobster rolls, and matcha beer. All was as good as advertised, the matcha beer was an interesting experience and the lobster was the best quickly cooked lobster we've had. Very much lived up to expectations and will be back for more in the future.
Lovely atmosphere, wide variety of food and there were so many options to choose from the free menu. Food arrived fairly quickly. Good taste. Value for price. Probably one of the rare finds of lobster in Melbourne. Would recommend.
Went to this restaurant for dinner while visiting Melbourne. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming! The food was also really delicious, definitely order the truffle salt it’s amazing!! Would definitely reccomend if you are after some great food!
All of the good looks good. The lobster is fresh and delicious. And the risotto with an egg tastes great too. Love the whole experience and would definitely come back for another visit and recommend to friends!
So simple and unique! Honestly the best experience with food, I recommend everyone to try it out! It’s pretty and yummy! So worth it! The food is perfection 😍 Felt so welcoming coming to this restaurant, with friendly staff! Can’t wait to come back and try out the other delicious dishes on the menu!! 💕
It was the first time I came with my friends. The staff is friendly. The lobster is fresh. We especially like the noodles. Good Experience. Recommend!!
Nice restaurant, very good setting, lights are bright and beautiful, the lobsters are very fresh and tasty, then dumplings taste nice and delicious. The lobster are the best menu on the list, suggest if come here, try it. The staff are very friendly, you can just ask and they will hello you . A wide verity of drinks and wine. The wine is very good and it is very cheap. The chips are also crispy and looks very nice. Most of the items are very cheap and worth it. It is a Japanese restaurant and it is really good at cooking and making sea food. Which they are a sea food specialist. The oyster are very fresh and the restaurant’s special style of cooking oysters make it very special.
My second time here, and loved it both times! Have gotten the lobster ramen last time and the seafood carbonara this time. Both delicious and well cooked seafood, and the oysters were super fresh! Will come back here again
Wow. We may have over ordered for 2 people but the food was just amazing!
Lobstee bisque was definitely the highlight, have never had anything as delicious or warming elsewhere. There was not much flavour in the raindrop mochi but looked super cute !
This place is such a cute little get away in the heart of Melbourne! Their fluffy 'souffle' pancakes are a delight and took us back to great memories we have of Japan. Highly recommend!
Food are really delicious. We ordered lobster pasta, bay bugs in garlic butter sauce on rice and lobster risotto. All of them are very yummy. We came on Saturday lunch, was a bit busy. We had to wait for 5mins even we had booking. The service is average. But we will come back for the food
Nice and friendly staff. Cozy place. Great comfort food. You can also order from Gyoza Gyoza, they are right next door! Definitely go back to indulge in more lobsters!
Good Japanese food and fantastic service,if you love seafood and lobster,I will recommend this restaurant to you, the lamb ribs are also good and very juicy, also the cocktail, really nice. The fries come with them were also very good. Crunchy and well seasoned. I highly recommend you this restaurant. My friend and I really had a good time.
If you love Japanese food & seafood lover, Unabara Lobster & Oyster bar is the “Go To” place to satisfy your craving and taste buds. It’s a quite well known Japanese restaurant in Melbourne specialising in Japanese Seafood dishes. Two branches have been opened around Melbourne CBD (Melbourne Central & Melbourne Emporium).
YAY: Lobster Linguine, Grilled Half Western Australia Rock Lobster and Roast Angus Beef Tenderloin with Mushroom Sauce
NAY: N/A
Had the matcha crepe cake and the souffle pancakes. Souffle pancakes were amazing!!! So fluffy! The crepe cake was great too. Not too sweet, which I enjoyed. The drizzle of honey was a good addition. Definitely will come back to try the other desserts :D also had a good atmosphere.
We went here on public holiday. Only 1-2 staff were serving the customers but there was about 2/3 full in the restaurant. We wait for about half hour to have our food. We ordered lobster with wagyu and a lobster linguine. The food were great. The staff were still very nice even so busy. Will come again next time to try different dishes.
Together with my boyfriend, we tried this Japanese restaurant in Emporium. We love their version of Grilled Pork ribs and grilled scallops with cheese. We’re definitely coming back and try their other dishes.

Found out about this place from a local magazine and knew we had to try it.
Not disappointed at all. We had their lobster rolls and gyozas. It was amazing.
We would definitely be back!
We came on a Sunday afternoon without a booking. There were a few spare seats and the restaurant remained a comfortable 2/3 full for the remainder of our lunch.
Service was warm and prompt.
We ordered the half grilled lobster with mornay sauce (400g), lobster linguini and okinawa soft shell crab roll. The lobster was good. Well cooked and a reasonable size. My mother was full at the end. The soft shell crab roll was in a brioche bun. Well seasoned and quite yummy. Both the above came with a small serving of beer battered fries and a generous dollop of ketchup. I had the lobster linguini and the serve of pasta was generous and the sauce very yummy, with lots to spare. The lobster with my linguini was a touch too salty.
We were served water quickly after our order was taken and they refilled this multiple times during the seating.
I would come back again particularly if I was feeling like a lobster linguini or similar bisque.
It is centrally located with a very happy and welcoming vibe. The food was tasty and you can tell its fresh. Lobster Roll was full of flavour, while the bisque packed a punch.. Highly recommended
Ordered the classic new york lobster roll. It came with a side of chips, a ceviche and salad. I shared it with my sister and it was quite delicious despite us both having quite different tastes. The ambience is nice and the location is very convenient. The lobster tasted fresh especially with the ceviche. The portion size is perfect for one individual but as we were planning to eat else as a good pre meal before many desserts!! Next time i would like to try the chilled lobster which i did not get as they had ran out of the 250g option and only had 400g. Hopefully will come again soon!
Service was excellent. We ordered the seafood platter for two. It was a little bit pricey but we come from the country so we were happy to pay for fresh seafood. You got one or two of each type of seafood for each person.Left with full tummy's. Would highly recommend.
Incredible food, incredible service. Always consistent and Adrian always ensures every guest has the best experience 👏👏
This restaurant offers some of the best seafood in Melbourne, along with top champagnes and wines. Service is spectacular, attentive and friendly. Today we enjoyed Daintree barramundi with crayfish segments, parsnip cream, special cray sauce and fresh asparagus spears. The crispy decorative parsnip on top was a delicious treat. Top quality crays were served to happy patrons too. This restaurant is an excellent choice for those going to the Regent Theatre next door, the great service will have you to the door on time and well fed and watered!
Amazing dining experience. Spoiled myself and had crayfish that was so fresh, superbly prepared and I can't stop telling people about it.
Service is first class; responsive and fast. Yes, a little bit pricey, but that's the way it is with quality ingredients.
Already planningy next visit there. Well done, guys!
Taste was amazing! It is a little pricey but I guess you're paying for high class meals so you can expect high class prices. If portions increase a little it might be more worth the price. Overall, a great dinner out.
Absolute pleasure to be back at the Box Restaurant with Adrian & Mark and the rest of there team. Great family business always make us feel welcome we’ve brought our staff and family here many times. I love the food and ambience we recommend the Box to everyone thanks again everyone!! I recommend the Crayfish love it!!!!
