Review Hungry Jacks - Melbourne

Victoria Tibbitts
They were medium busy, and staff treated all queries pleasantly and effectively. The food was good, they didn't forget the 'no salt please' on the fries and their iced coffee ~no sugar~had a real kick! Perfect on a hot afternoon! When there was a lull they were out cleaning the seated section and so on.I thought they were great.

Hungry Jacks was really good. We enjoyed going there as It's not so expensive. The food was really delicious too and the deals that they were offering were pretty nice. It was really convenient to go there too. Hungry Jacks is really recommend to go. You will definitely enjoy it. The floor was really clean. And the orders were served really quick.

Cant say much about food as this is standard what you get in similar franchises. Beauty of this place is on 1st floor where interior work is superb, and very distinctive. It is very spacious as well and can be used for small get-together.

Very slow service, and got very busy whilst we were there. Coffee not the best very bitter. Added a sugar so made it ok. Seems a lot of delivery pick ups take priority rather than customers in store. But creditto the 2 staff that were on.

Good food but not hygienic cleaning conditions. Too much crowded. But staff can handle well. Outlet should focus on cleanness as well rather than making money 24 7

Trust me the burgers are way better than Bar Margaux, save your self a 3 minute walk and do the right thing.

A rougher branch of the franchise, as it's open 24 hours -there's safety screens in front of the registers.

The vegan burger is pretty good and they assured me that it's fried in separate oil and fried on a different pan. Seems true. Their coffee isn't bad either. Nice location in the middle of the CBD.

I got hungry and tired that day after walking for a long time in the CBD after a long day and I decided to visit this Hungary Jack's.

I had a look at the menu for options available for vegetarians. However, I could not find that instead, I went for a vegan Cheeseburger. The taste of patty was fine but I did not like the taste of vegan cheese. It could have been better if they had some options with normal cheese as well apart from vegan for vegetarians.

Overall, the place was good and the service was fine.

In need of a quick burger with that char grilled flavour, Hungry Jacks in Bourke Street comes through with the goods. Yes it's a chain, but the quality of their Angus beef range is actually quite good. I find the burgers more substantial than Maccas, and they taste more real.

This store is clean with friendly staff and good service. Sure, there is little ambience, but you know what to expect; and Hungry Jacks is perfectly fine for a takeaway lunch.

More of a 3.5 rating.
No frills to this place except that it is one of the cleanest Hungry Jacks I have been to in the CBD. We always head here when we want a burger-fries fix on a busy day.

We usually get their flame grilled burgers. Another favourite is the Chicken Peri Peri burger which comes with the spicy mayo. And yes, we love the HJ thick chips! Also, TJD loves a good cheap mocha from here :D

Pros:
• Kept clean most of the times, so good on the staff.
•Location! Pretty much in the centre of CBD so works for everyone.
• You get some good offers on their new launches + there always seem to be discounts on their app, so use it!
• Wireless charging for phones.

Cons:
• Crowded - Because of where its located. Sometimes its hard to get a seat.
•Service - You might have to wait a lonnnng time during rush hours.

Came on Sunday morning after a big night out, service was a little slow. They were out of what I wanted to order originally so I just got chips. Chips are always good, but the service was a little slow. I guess it's sort of expected for 5am although.

i ordered the hershey's cream pie. it was too sweet for me but may be suitable for those who have sweet teeth. it tasted just average but it is suitable for those who are on a budget and crave for something sweet.

HJ is apparently the best outlets in Melbourne for vegetarians. Life saver on weekend late nights. Its fast, affordable and more importantly very delicious
I don’t want what they’re selling outside this HJ but the stunner menus are good value for lunch. Burger, nuggets, chips, drink and mini cone. I always swap out the cone for sundae which they do for free

After a colossally bad HJ’s experience on Friday night I decided to give it one more nance before swearing allegiance to maccas for good. We were hungry post a late night show at the comedy festival (having had dinner at one of those ‘instagram’ places that wasn’t very filling. I went for the grilled chicken burger that was my standard order when I was in uni and while it wasn’t as bad as the other night it was certainly not as good as back in the day. If it weren’t for my husbands predilection for onion rings we’d probably never bother again

Burger king joint what we have in India. Nice place with tasty burgers and good service. Its a very good option for a quick and cheap snack.

This is like a Burger King joint- reasonable burgers yet tasty junk food. Was looking out for a quick meal and headed to this place in between all the shopping.

It's gotta be one of the coolest Hungry Jacks in the city and one of the most popular too! Meals are always good and prepared slightly above Hungry Jacks style? Atmosphere is great and the two storey layout is reminiscent of my most visited in the CBD hungry Jacks on the corner of Latrobe Street and Swanston street. I've ordered all sorts of things here but usually a whopper, angry whapper, double whapper or whapper juinor in a large meal with a Diet Coke. Chips are usually fresh and crisp.
Sititng on the top floor and taking it all in is a great idea.

Burgers really do get that chargrill taste but no real chargrill crisp with burgers patty often seem even softer than even McDonalds. Sauce is always plentiful, nice big thicks of onion and tomato (my favourite type of fast food tomato certainly is in Hungry Jack's Whopper.). You know what you're getting so you come here, it's as simple as that.

Fiery angus burger has the bacon and steak inside. I also used hungry app and shaked free large Coke and also sundae. Sometimes fries are fresh, it's really good when the fries are fresh.
But the restaurant is not clean especially in the bathroom, the strong smell is there. I hope they can ask more staff to clean the restaurant.

Upstairs is actually quite nice - be sure to go there to eat! No complaints from me in relation to this HJ's - short wait time to order, burger made fresh to order. Chips were a bit cold though but given the serve was only $1 for a promotion I wasn't going to complain.
