A cute little cafe which is colourful and inviting. Love the yellow shades through the cafe and a well made coffee.
This spot always delivers. Super friendly staff, wonderful coffee, and nice Mediterranean food at an affordable price point. While the branding would normally throw me off, you obviously can't judge a book by its cover because Piccolo Me is great.

The food came out pretty quickly and the service was really good.
All of the food also came out looking really good and when the taste wasn't a disappointment, it was even better!
The manager came around to ask us how our food was and told us a bit about the background of the chain which was nice.

This place is pretty nice. Pleasant environment, decent wait staff. Definitely a bit overpriced though. Tried the açaí bowl. Looked nice and tasted ok. Although it was confusing why I was given a fork and a knife instead of a spoon... And the copper fork added a weird taste to the food...
Really friendly and kind staff and they have one of the best looking almond cuppuccino Ive ever seen. Awesome little spot for weekday lunches.
Nice place in a block of Melbourne that isn't totally saturated with food places. It's a bit awkward when you walk in, with the counters and people waiting right in the doorway. But when you get through the crowdedness, it has a lovely open air feel with all the windows.
Some really creative dessert dishes are on offer, alongside burgers and pasties - all carefully designed to maximise their Insta-worthiness! But the deep-fried frozen Nutella ice-cream served with caramel sauce was delicious so they're obviously pros at both taste and appearance!
Service was great. Love the atmosphere open and very welcoming. Their coffee is fantastic.
You can sense passion in their food.

Piccolo Me is a new quirky cafe in Melbourne’s CBD. We came here on Thursday at lunch time, keen to try their unique creations. The ambience in the cafe was great, with comfortable tables and booths and decor and the staff at the cafe were welcoming – the store manager in particular was super friendly. Have you ever seen something so inherently genius that you can’t fathom the fact it has never existed before? Piccolo Me is not just another cafe quenching the unending thirst of Melbourne’s coffee addicts. No, Piccolo Me holds the answer for exactly what happens when two things that are awesome combine and create a product that is diabolically sinful.
Piccolo holds the Croissant burger. I'll let that sink in for a moment. Folks, this is how super villains are born. This is Piccolo Me's origin story and The Hungry Moustache is going to eat it.
The awesome:
- The croissant burger is everything you would expected and more. Oily fingers, moist beef and an immense mouthful of meat juices with the flakey croissant making sure to shorten your life span by a couple of years. It's a messy affair... but when are burgers not messy? There is an option of switching to a normal bun or hot dog roll if you're counting your macros (or like being alive). Totally recommended for the novelty factor!
- PFC (Piccolo fried chicken): Mr. Brunswick loves his fried chicken and the chicken here is delicious. The bird was nicely battered and juicy. Bung in a hash brown and you're gonna have a good time. Recommended!
The not-so-awesome:
- Admittedly, I only have myself to blame but I wasn't a fan of the food coma that followed after downing a croissant with double patties with cheese and fries loaded with more cheese.
Despite the heaviness of our meal, Piccolo Me was a delicious experience. The staff are accommodating with an air of confidence that you're in good hands. I definitely got piccolo'd. Hard.
Piccolo Me Burger with Piccolo Me sauce (Salted Caramel and Chipotle Mayo) is to die for! $12 and so so delicious, you really can't go wrong.
Service was friendly and the vibe is cool! Will definitely be back!
Such a fun place to visit! Came here with a friend after seeing posts on social media and we tried the Crospresso and the Esprookie (croissant cup/choc chip cookie cup brushed with Nutella, dipped in sprinkles) filled with your choice of chocolate milk or coffee at $6.50 a piece. We were expecting it was more Instagram fodder than anything but we're pleasantly surprised. The decor is inviting, as are the staff who offered suggestions to narrow down the large array of available options. Will definitely be back to try the other menu items soon!
Being their first venture in Melbourne, Piccolo has done remarkably well, catering to both the office crowd as well as foodies alike.
The amazing baked goods on offer as well as the innovative twists on traditional items are not only unique, but also well executed and I definitely enjoyed every bite here.
With this caliber of baked goods on offer, coupled with ever-evolving, creative and innovative specials, there’s no doubt I will be returning for more, perhaps even on a weekly basis!
