I’ve ordered takeaway from this place several times and their service is super fast! Food so far tastes good but the difference between small and large portion is really small 😅
Absolutely fantastic food! The red curry was one of the best I’ve had. Everything we ordered was outstanding. I’m glad to have finally tried this little local gem
Ordered takeaway from here a few times and it's consistently good. Had Tom yum yesterday and the flavour was really good. Good local takeaway.
Ordered a padthai at closing time. Was made promptly and perfectly. I have eaten a lot of padthais in my lifetime and highly recommend this one.
Never been into the restaurant but have had delivery several times and it is consistently delicious food! I love the Chinese broccoli with crispy pork and the red curry - with coconut rice of course.
Sooooo yum. The green curry noodle are great! Lots of vegetarian options, quick and delicious. BYO to eat in and Great for take away as well.
Ordered takeaway from this place. The packaging was secure and firm. I love the crab meat and red curry. However the green curry was really watered down and the meat was pretty average. So avoid ordering the green curry. Go for other dishes. I would recommend this thai place!
This place is off the hook! I have only been there for takeaway but it is hands down the best Thai food (takeaway or dine in) that I've ever had. My wife and I go for the curries pretty much every time and they are produced really quickly, they are sooo delicious and it's about $30 for both curries and a large coconut rice. The dine in area is pretty basic and I'd probably prefer not to dine in as it's a bit quiet but for what it offers as a takeaway, I can't fault it. Outstanding.
Love this place!. The food is excellent, and the service very pleasant and prompt. We like it so much at the Absolute Thai that we have become regulars (we live close by) and eat there every week. We've started taking friends and all our friends completely agree with us. Nothing better than great Thai food. I'm surprised how cheap it is.
Ignore the old reviews, its clearly under new management. I was reluctant to try this place whist staying nearby late last year due to the reviews but im guessing the place must be under new management because ive ordered several times now in the past few months and the food has been superb everytime. Yeah, ok so its not a place id eat in - the decor is lacking, but the flavour of the food certainly isnt. People should really give the place another shot. I feel bad for them. My food is always ready to pick up in 20 mins and I love that they have a large vegetarian menu. The portions are enough to feed me for two meals and the veggies are always crisp - so i know its been make to order.
And when i ask them to make it extra hot they always deliver.
Maybe the reviewers have only experianced westerised thai food.

New Management - Worth a try. If i had of taken notice of the bad reviews for this place i wouldn't have visited, but my other favourite Thai place was shut, and i couldn't remember what the review said about Absolute Thai so on a cold Wednesday evening i popped in and let fate do what she would with my upcoming Thai experience. I had Penang chicken curry and my other half a Pad ginger beef thing with Satay chicken sticks topped of with Roti and Coconut Rice.
Verdict: Absolutely faultless and incredibly delicious, portion sizes were just right and reasonably priced, service was friendly and we didn't wait long to have the freshly cooked, fresh and crunchy dishes served up. The roti is just melt in your mouth delicious. Decor is a bit sparse and cold but the spicy, very yummy and tangy food makes up for the slightly austere but nonetheless welcoming surrounds. I don't like giving out reviews but i thought these guys deserve another go from people who may be avoiding them because of their current low score. I asked the friendly front of house person about the restaurant and she said they had taken over from the previous managers a little while back, and going by the food they are certainly worth a visit now. I know i'll be coming back to try out their other dishes.
Forget takeaway - Great eat in!. Been coming to this place for the last 16 years, with different evolutions of quality. The new people behind this have changed the decor, although not the takeaway menu. Tonight we decided to eat in and whilst the decor is a little cold and the service could do with a little more experience we were so excited about the quality of the food! I had to write this so that they don't try to make the food more 'western' hot and spicey well balanced thai food! awesome!
This place has always had a bad review and that made me reluctant in coming here. I noticed they renovated recently and today was the day I tried it. I am SO GLAD that I did. The food was so yummy !! We had the curry puffs, tom yum soup, massaman beef, fish red curry and stir fry veggies. I think they need to change the name to loose the previous history and start again.
Great for everyone including vegetarians. Not only were the prices absolutely exceptional, the food was delicious. I don't know what people are saying about tastelessness it was delicious although i cant comment on the meat they had a huge range of vegetarian food and it was far from bland.
it was my first time ordering delivery came right on time although it did take a rather long time come but i supposing that it wasn't open at the time we ordered.

I have dined here twice and I must say the food is very good and service is lovely. Both times I have ordered the Thai beef salad and wow the flavours are amazing. The dish was full of flavour and looked great too. My girlfriend ordered red and green curries on respective visits and we both thoroughly enjoyed them! I have only good things to say about absolute Absolute Thai and I will be returning hopefully soon.
Undecided.... I have got delivery from i Absolute Thai twice now - the first time it was excellent - fast delivery, and great dishes.
The second time the delivery was quite slow, and the dishes were in smaller containers than the first time - they still tasted good (just wasn't quite enough).
Their roti, and red curry is my favourite!
Yay! delivery!. This place has a wonderful and broad delivery service and the food is great. Their entrees are a little over cooked and very much deep fried but their seafood curry is very nice and their other specialities have never let me down.
The food at AT was good great soups, the décor was modern and welcoming. I was a little surprised when I walk in to hear system of the down playing. But overall 7.5/10
