Really cheap gelato🍦 Super big serving portion for such a reasonable price, probably cheaper that the regular gelatos joints elsewhere & offers huge portion. Plus it’s conveniently located in Prahran market.

My son Love this. Nothing special with the taste but worth to try after Hassle back from buying your Veggies at the market
Try Chocolate Gelato

Best gelato ever!! Other than Messina!
Had the strawberry sundae flavor, pistachio and blood orange. All were amazing and the fruity ones tasted so real.
For those summer days, this is the place to go if you are in the Chapel St precinct - the sorbets are delicious! Had the watermelon and raspberry sorbets, the watermelon tasted like the watermelon crush boost juices and the raspberry was sweet and refreshing. Was given two generous scoops of both in the double cup price. My friend got the chocolate and panna cotta raspberry, said was sweet and creamy.
The cinnamon and fig were delicious with huge serving sizes as well as the gelato being creamy and smooth with big flavour. If I'm in the area I would go back for a scoop.
Had the passion fruit flavour which was extremely sweet and the dear at the counter gave me two HUGE scoops in my double cup so it was good value. Passion fruit was very sugary sweet, perhaps too much so for my tastes, while the caramelised fig and almond flavour was perfection. Not any seats available when I was there so had a wander around the market while eating, looking for a seat.
Good fresh flavours! There is no mistaking that fresh, real fruit is used in their sorbets, as the raspberry and peach tasted just like eating a real piece of fruit! Keep up the good work!
So clearly I’ve emerged from about the worst week ever, what with my cat escaping out the front door over a week back. Obviously, This is picture was taken slightly before Burger cat escaped, given that traffic is pretty much horsedraw, but all the same you probably get a sense of the environment and the vibe and the doors opening straight onto the street. Burger is nearly two and has never been outside, and is completely frightened of pretty much everyone but Blackburn J and me. Hence escape is a matter of concern. Being a mature, collected sort of person I choose the sensible option of fully fledged hysteria. I’m running around a medium to high density region in a Melbourne Demons dressing gown alternately sobbing and screaming Burger Burger Burger. Since it is about 8am on a work day in a semi-corporate yuppie-couple suburb, this totally doesn’t draw attention or anything. Its about now (now at time of writing – not ‘now’ meaning the bit in the story when cat is missing and I’m screaming and sobbing unobtrusively in a built up area) that it occurs to me that I should be sharing this experience with my massive Urbanspoon audience of maybe a handful of dudes – seriously, I’m not the 77th ranked urbanspoon blog for nothing. So to attempt to get this out there, I figure I should mention something along food review lines about some place. Fritz Gelato So – I choose Fritz Gelato. I really like a Fritz Gelato. I know that because there are lots of them and all, you sort of start thinking they might just be some boring chain, but I swear they do awesome gelato. I often visit the one at the Prahran Market. The award winning coffee rush ice cream flavour is utterly amazing. When I’m in a traditional, sorbet-style gelato mood I tend to go with a three scoop cone with lemon, passion fruit and blood orange. It’s difficult to describe the experience, especially with formerly missing Burger Cat on lap, so I think you should just visit the website HERE , find a Fritz Gelato and
The apple sorbet was very refreshing, but the coconut was a little bit too sweet for me.
It's the Best. If you love Italian gelato, you will love Fritz Gelato. Heaps of flavours, working my way through them, staff great and give you free samples :)
Best so far are Caramelised Fig & Roasted Almond, Passionfruit Kick and the Chocolate hazelnut one. Stay posted as a try them all.
Yummy jam donuts! Ice cream good too.
Warm doughnuts from Fritz = happiness. The cinnamon rings are crunchy outside and fluffy inside, with a generous dusting of cinnamon sugar. Jam balls are a perfect balance of hot fruity filling and light fluffy dough coated in sugar granules which transfer to your lips liberally for later licking. Yummmmm.
The best pistachio gelato I've had do far! :)
One of the best gelato in town. Try their award winning chocolate and blood orange.
Love it!. I've said it before somewhere... but you can never be too full for ice cream. The Gelato here is something special and there are plenty of great flavour options.
The frozen yoghurt is a must try. As I visited during easter, the flavour of the month was hot cross bun... which had great citrus and spice flavours. Everything is organic, including the hot doughnuts. I enjoyed both the cinnamon and jam, but much preffered the jam.
The gelati here are made with fresh, organic ingredients, and shies away from artificial flavours and colours. As such, the flavours available can vary a
My favourite gelatery of all time, and you can easily spot them at different locations across Melbourne!
Love their classic gelato flavours which are not so classic, and are consistently tasty. They also combine flavours such as panna cotta fig & amaretto biscuits and yogurt and carmel, as well as serving you exotic flavours from all over the world such as pandan or lychee with coconut!
To add to this excitement, they have weekly specials where for example, they fuse a bunch of diff ingredients to create an amazing flavour or just make your favourite food into icecream form!
My favourites are:
- afternoon tea at nonna’s: ricotta cheesecake gelato, fig jam, buttery biscuit crumble
- dulce de
- you make me unicorny: 100s & 1000s and poundcake
- fairy bread: 100s & 1000s and toast and butter gelato
- double or nothing / get baked: baked cheesecake gelato with dulce de leche & toppings
- milk tea gelato specials
- tiramisu
To be honest, everything is good and no wonder it’s such a popular fun spot to return to!
I love the gelato, it’s creamy, luscious, beautiful combination of flavours. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The gelato I’ve eaten. Please open a store in Singapore share the love!
Favourite Gelati place in Melbourne, because the flavours are amazing and special every time. Try the specials and be prepared to be wowed. Really friendly staff too. Favourites: pandan and coconut, mango, bounty, coconut and lychee.
Truly the most impressive gelatari I've stepped foot in. It's an experience in its own right. The flavours inside are similarly unique and adventurous. I can understand the hype!
Oh my God! What an icecream. Truly one of its kind. I have never tasted such a creamy and rich textured icecream. Absolutely indulging 🤤
Good gelato. We had to eat outside as we had our dog - there were plenty of chairs but we would have liked a heater.

Life is not complete without a visit to Messina. The pistachio praline was mind-blowingly good.
Pistachio praline 5/5 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ 🤩
Pear and rhubarb 4/5 ❤️❤️❤️❤️🤍
Although this is a chain business, the quality is not compromised. Their salted caramel flavour was a quality treat.
