Ordered the Margherita. Would have been OK if it wasn't for the garlic from a jar. Gross! Overtook the flavour of the pizza. Still tasting it now an hour later :(
You know when people say that it could be worse... It couldn't be. This is 100% the worst that it can possibly get. I've got a hungry family waiting for almost an hour, after it finally gets delivered we all all think that it's got to be of some decency if the pizzas taken so long to prepare. Hell no. We ordered a vegetarian pizza but instead we got a greasy, cheap, disturbing, loathsome chicken pizza, odfathers knows how old the dough was. I went back for a
refund but was told it was the correct order, I threw the old one out and went to dominos, don't even know why I bothered going to godfathers in the first place, I should have read the review before ordering. The reason I'm making this review is to save people the trouble I went through, the service is awful and so is the food. #prayforgodfathers

This is the best pizza on Sidney road, hands down.
I like godfathers, it's fast and cheap. Reading some of these reviews sounds like people expect 400 gradi. I would probably stick to vegetarian, meat ingredients are quite processed. Margarita is amazing, right amount of garlic oil with cheese. Nice service too! Can't resist every time I go past. Beware the heat on the volcano 🍕🔥🍕🔥🍕🔥🍕
I love the Napolitana! I get a pizza here maybe once a month and it's really good value for money. It's the only pizza in the area I can count on being consistent in their quality. Can you get a better pizza? Totally. Can you get a pizza this consistently good for this price? Nope. I'll keep coming here on my lazy nights.

Godfather's has the best pizza in Brunswick. It's always hot and super fresh. The staff are really lovely so it's always a pleasure to visit. Really short wait for takeaways as well!
These guys make great pizza at a cheap price and also do delivery. We have ordered here heaps of times and have never been disappointed. Their prices are good and so is the service. Seriously, $4.50 for two slice and a can of drink is good value.

Insert Mafia joke here ______. I was prepared to dislike this place, because I read the reviews slagging it. But I stopped for two slices and a can ($4.50) anyway because the freaking 19 tram driver rolled away from the stop across from here even though I dashed in front of him when he was stopped, waving. The traffic light turned green and BAM! he was outta there. Mate, if you don’t like to pick up passengers, why do you drive a bloody tram?
Anyway, I had time to kill, so I dropped a $5 bill here. The cheese and Hawaiian slices I had were on the small side, but they reminded me of America. That’s because the mozzarella was laid on THICK. America is the land of cheese-heads. Aussie pizza, especially the slice kind, is skimpy with the cow-cow covering. Godfather’s is not. The sauce is semi-spicy, and the base is bready-puffy.
I was a “2 slices and a pop” addict where I used to live in Vancouver, Canada. Godfather’s is in the price range they had there, considering the current exchange rate. I reckon this place would have held its own in the Canuckizza market.
Godfather is a Brunswick institution. They have fed me for years. Their margarita with pineapple or their fiery Hawaiian are simply what dreams are made of. I love you godfather! Coppola even named his film after the shop when he ate there.

Cheap, convenient and taste good. It's obviously not a place for people with too many dietary requirements.
The place probably has changed owners so many times that the people who're running it now doesn't know any pizza culture. but they follow the basic instructions and make quite decent pizza. I order pizza from there all the time and I'm always happy about the quality in consider of the amount I pay.

Great Pizza, whats the fuss??. Must admit I had already ordered before reading some of these reviews..to my surprise the pizza was actually quite good, not greasy and was quite tasty...not sure why all the negative feedback below, Ive had far worse pizza from crust and way more expensive, that is why we are trying out different pizza shops in sydney road area, yes the place is not flash, but at least your not paying for the fancy decor and franchise fees and royalties...common brunswick give this one a go.
So there are better cheap eats nearby (e.g. Tiba's) but this is super cheap and simple. What you see is what you get and it's not a chain like crust. I'll give it a 6/10.

I love it. I think the bad reviews on here are from the competition, 'cos every single time I go here I get good, simple, tasty, non-greasy pizza!
Sure, the shop is kinda old looking, and the Italian branding is looking rather dated, and the workers are not Italian by any means, but the pizza is good. I can see that the ingredients are fresh. I have never got a greasy pizza here (can you tell that I hate greasy pizza?) and the prices are good.
They are not "gourmet pizzas" but who wants broccoli on a pizza??? And the prices are reasonable.
I won't change my pizza place, and recommend that you at least check this place out, just don't get in front of me in the queue :-P
Yum! Being surrounding by 'gourmet' pizza joints that charge 20 bucks a pizza, godfathers is a great place. Cheap, classic pizzas that are always yum.
Mouth melting and irresistible tasting pizzas with great customer service at Sydney road, Brunswick , give a try won’t regret for the value with the taste….. hot and tasty chicken is highly recommended.
Speedy delivery, take eftpos, staff were very friendly and helpful. Pizza was pretty standard and fresh x
