Matilda Hot Bread - Melbourne - Photo album

If it wasn't "cold" at 13:35 it would be an awesome Pepper Pie $5.00 Sausage roll $4.20 was okay, nice pastry not meat 6/10
Coffee 10/10 (perfect) Mushroom pie 10/10 (very tasty) Beef pie 8/10 (have had better curry in the pie) Price - very cheap $3 for medium coffee and about $5 for a pie. Overall good experience will come back !
Good prices and good food. Only downer is I found some sort of stem in the vegie pie I purchased.. hesitant to get that again. Yet to go wrong with the $1 jam donuts though 🤤
One of the worst sausage rolls I've ever had, absolute rip off. Meat was soggy .. if it's even meat and majority of it was pastry!
Very average Bánh mìs, ham style pork and had to ask for the hoisin sauce. No good
Kid you not! Best pies! Crazy! Really really good. Friendly staff. Ham, cheese toasted croissant is really good! Have to say, dollar for dollar, this place is really good. Not sure I’d get the coffee, especially considering what’s in the area, but baked goods.... I’m there. I’ll post a few photos
The pies really are exceptional. The pastry is perfect, flaky, light, buttery. The pasties are equally top notch. Bahn mi, delicious. But if like me, you appreciated an old school full salad and cheese sanga, it's spot on. In lockdown these simple things were a saviour.
Best shepherd’s pie ever
