This is THE best cheese tea in Melbourne. I'm not kidding, I've tried 6 other shops and nothing beats the cheese tea here. There's just something about their cheese foam that just hits the spot (I'm saying this as a cheese lover) and their tea just tastes so nice!! Very fragrant and well, tea-like. You can really taste the tea. I'd recommend drinking without a straw. First just sip it as it is, then when you get to half of your drink, swirl and mix it around as you continue drinking so the cheese foam and tea will blend together. This will create a lighter taste. Otherwise you can continue drinking without mixing and it'll still taste good! My personal favorite is rose cheese oolong 👍

Agree with the previous reviews that this place is quite pricey, it was 8.5 dollars for a drink. And it has the following problems as well:
1. Some of the drinks taste weird. I have had a stomache after drinking, not sure if it is related to the drink.
2. Staffs are quite rude and not attentive. They look angry, even we have not done anything to them. Order a bubble tea and they give us a small straw.
I am not impressed with what has been experienced and I would not recommend anyone to visit this place.

The fruit tea there was awful. Definitely not worth trying. The red grape fruit tea was as bitter as your most hated medicines. This shop is making dumb money from those young and naive UoM students who have no other choices other than its tasteless and soulless bubble teas. :(

In a city chock-full of hot pot restaurants More Spicy disappoints on all levels. The prices are above average, the ingredient selection is poor, the soup is bland. I'd strongly advise you have your hotpot elsewhere.

Staff is rude and very rude especially the waiter with short hair. Tea is very pricey! They says A2 milk is used, but I don’t even see a A2 bottle, all I see is a bunch of used condense milk can and the mixer. I guess they don’t use milk at all, instead, condense milk and water. I won’t go there anymore

Bought their fruit combo tea. Was quite refreshing, even had pieces of fruit, like watermelon and strawberry, in the tea that you can eat after finishing the drink. Though I'd say it's a bit pricey.

Comfy atmosphere, fruity tea tasted refreshing, their cheese milk foam tasted really good , will definitely recommend to my friends!

Recommended by a friend. The cheese foam drink was really as good as suggested. New favourite place! Friendly staff too. Will come again.

This is the best ma latang I’ve eaten in Melbourne, I’ve tried other places with dry Mala tang , but it was not as good as the one from here.

It was okayyy. TBH I wasn’t impressed but I wasn’t not impressed 🤷♀️I’ve had better for the price. The soup was above average I guess but needed more flavour. Not sure how fresh everything was because I felt a bit sick after....

Been there for several times because it is near where I live. Everytime was the worst experience and the price is also high. Won't be there again

New store just across spot. Tried fruit tea with cheese form was disgusting. And there were no bubble tea only offer fruit tea. The lady staff was so bad attitude, I just ask why the tea was so salty, she said it must be like this if u don't like it just go and try other store next time.OMG really bad experience, will never come again.

This new hotpot/bubble tea joint is literally 10 metres across the road from The Spot (unimelb) so decided to come with a friend during a study break. Typical "ma la tang" experience where you get to pick from a variety of meats and vegetables and you can get it either in a soup or dry. I opted for the dry hotpot whilst my friend chose to have the soup. However upon advising staff of my friend's peanut allergy, they literally just boiled his food in hot water and told him to add some chilli oil to it. It was extremely bland and was definitely not worth the $20 which he had paid. As for my dry hotpot, it was essentially the same but drenched in a peanut sauce. Would not recommend!!!
