Unexpected delight!!!. I randomly found my self here, I was surprised with the service I received.
very friendly and food was brilliant.
Recommended. Fantastic food - the Palak Paneer is the best I've had in Melbourne. Ordered the dishes medium hot and they were exactly that (which can't be said for some other places that seem too scared to actually put much chili in even when I've requested it hot). The delivery was bang on time and the price reasonable.Amazing food and great service! Keep up! :)will come back for more. Thanks windmill :))))
Just ordered a late night meal. Order arrived quickly and the food was really tasty. We've ordered delivery with them a couple of times now and it's been pretty consistently delicious, I wouldn't hesitate if you want some yummy delivery.
Amazing food! Our absolute favourite so far is the Cholloy Samosa, which is down as a starter but at $8 is really filling; it consists of two samosas (undoubtedly the best I've found in Melbourne), covered in chick peas, onion and tomato with delicious chutneys. Also the Onion Bhajia were lovely and not at all greasy as one might expect. The Mango Lassi is definitely a good choice as it is not sickly like I have found at other places. The Garlic Naan is a little salty, but the 'garlickyness' is spot on, if you're in doubt get a different Naan; plain is fine. Friendly lady working at the counter, favourite place to go on Victoria street.
Tasty food, friendly service. Cheap too! They have their work cut out for them in between all those SE Asian restaurants on Victoria St, but I'd rather eat here than at any of the other places nearby!
Went with high expectations from word of mouth, that's what it was to a certain point the delay between ordering and getting the food was quite long! (I wish I took a bottle of wine to pass the time!) When the meals were received the portions were tiny in comparrison to any other Indian restaurant I have been to however all meals ordered were served at the same time surprisingly. The tandoori mushrooms were definitely the highlight on the menu
Chaat to die for!. Odd to find an Indian restaurant in the middle of "Little Saigon" Victoria St, but it was cold, we were craving curry and we saw a taxi driver eating there - always a good sign. We were impressed - the service was great, the food was good, solid Indian fare, and we experienced their Chaat - whoooo hoooo! An Indian Hawker dish which is kind of a mash up of stuff, pickles and bits of broken papadum (this description does it no justice) which presents a bit like Indian nachos! We had a 'mixed Chaat" for $10 and LOVED it. The other dishes were very cheap, and all in all it was good. We will return, ready for Chaat (would be a great hangover breakfast!)
PS: we asked how long they'd been open and the waiter (who was excellent) said 18 months but that there's a new owner: looks like he's doing well!
Excellent. Been hanging for a local indian/pakistani curry house to rival those in fitzroy. having moved from fitzroy to abbotsford, the bemisal dhaba restaurant has solved my problem with flying colours. great food and wonderful service
This restaurant is owned by pakistani people This is the best restaurant in Melbourne according to taste of food U will get true pakistani flavours Amazing food with a great service
Delicious! We had the goat nihari and palak paneer, with naan and rice. Wonderful blend of flavours, well balanced, rich curries, tender meat. We should have asked for the nihari to be spicier. We'll be going back, and taking friends.
Delicious dishes with awesome service 👍
