Located at the heritage Como house and gardens, the horse-stables turned cafe/restaurant, the Stables of Como was an eatery serving modern australian/brunch food. Attentive staff, yummy food and a unique garden tea party vibe. We went on a cold and wet day but sitting outdoors was still pleasant and pretty. Covered and heated with clear drop down siding so the moisture doesn't get to you. On a sunny day I imagine this venue would be even more beautiful.
Food was nice, venue was lovely and service was a little disorganised but friendly nonetheless. Set menus with different drink options, and although the portions were smaller than expected, the food was delicious. Both indoor and outdoor seating available.
First impression here was good with a beautiful ambience, surrounds and grounds to dine in. This restaurant should be rated well above 4 stars. Had a lovely breakfast. Note. If you don't like waiting cause you can't make a booking; or you get upset cause the staff dont smile at you cause they are busy; or you just like complaining in general then it's probably not the place for you.
Excellent service, great coffee and great food, food menu very diverse with vegetarian options. Get a coffee and have a nice walk in the garden, sit down and relax and read a book
Wonderfull food and nice atmosphere. Surroundings are very pleasant with nice gardens and nature. Food was lovely. Overall a nice experience, highly recommend!
Food: Decent variety and decent quality. Service: Very quick and friendly service. Was a super hot day and they were very accommodating with the fans. Locations: Easy to find, plenty of parking. Fantastic garden location, simply enhances your mood as soon as you walk in. Hard to have a bad day here
