Delicious pizza with great options for both white and red base
Bela makes great cevapi and decent pizza. Taste takes me back to Serbia specialy paired together with Serbian Rakija. There are better Neapolitan style pizza joints like La Svolta, 400 Gradi, Mascalzone etc but cevapi in Bela are really good. Well done!
The food was 10/10 amazing! Unfortunately the service/staff were not. They were quite unfriendly and took away half finished drinks without us realising and took away plates while we were still eating. It’s a shame because the food really is amazing!

This is what you call a true hidden gem. Melbourne has a lot of them, but how many of these gems have a genuine Balkan influence? Maybe just 1-2 others, truth be told.
Bela has a very homely feel to it. With an oven direct from Napoli where the pizzas and breads are spawned, you are unlikely to find a better Taschetta in Australia. This is a must eat dish in Melbourne.
You’d have to fly all the way over to Zadar in Croatia or Sarajevo in Bosnia to get ćevapi in a bread pocket as good as this. Ten of these gorgeous little skinless Balkan sausages them find themselves encased in what can only be described as glorious bread. The onion and cheese that accompany it is both authentic and genuine. The ćevapi are fresh and perfectly cooked (just a hint of pink in the middle). It’s unpretentious and simple. Colleagues of Your Dear Luncher have been visiting this place for years. Now, The Dear Luncher finally understands why it is one of their favourite places to eat in Melbourne. The pizzas are magnificent, they are to be sampled ASAP.
A good assortment of Balkan beers available, Ožujsko is The Dear Luncher’s favourite. The kind of beer you can really drink all day.

Delicious thin base pizza with fresh ingredients, courteous staff, in an intimate setting. Great selection of food and wine, we will definitely be returning.

Walked in expecting good food after reading the reviews but this place still exceeded our expectations! We've had our fair share of cevapi, but the homemade somun bread and sour cream definitely puts this on the top of our go-to places. My partner even went in and finished the crust of all my pizza slices so that's saying something! Service was also great. We are looking forward to going back.
One of the most underrated spots in Melbourne. Phenomenal pizza, and the Cevapi is about the best you'll get in a restaurant in this country.
I don't eat much bread but the "Somun" bread they make out of the oven here is ridiculous.
Delicious pizza and friendly service. This is our new local!! The wait staff are absolutely lovely. Nice courtyard and ambience would highly recommend to all.

It's the best pizza Napoli style in Melbourne. I come there often with my girlfriend and friday nights we often get lamb off the spit which is to die for. Traditional meat sausages (chevapi) and the in house made bread area AMAZING!

I am a regular here on Fridays with my boyfriend- We start with the lamb fresh from the spit (ask for the hand cut chips- you won't regret it) and then have a pizza and beer...It so good to finally have a good food joint in North Melbourne!

Awesome pizza similar to 400 gradi with no queues. Friendy service also and nice atmosphere. Have been waiting for pizza like this to pop up in north melb. Its my new local go to.

So underrated. So good.
The base is a bit thick and chewy. And the topping is not salty or oily. :) One of the best places for pizza. Service is great as well. Waitress is friendly.

Amazing authentic pizza. Super fresh ingredients with delicious traditional style pizza bases. I recommend eating in at the restaurant, but if you can't stay they do take-away also. Highly recommend the Quattro Formaggi and the Prosciutto pizzas or if you don't feel like pizza the Chevapi is also excellent. Good pizza and nice glass of red on a Winter evening, superb!
