Absolutely incredible! Buying chicken should be an easy task but most places have the chicken tasting plain or dry, look no further this is definitely my new go to place. I ordered half a chicken, Greek salad & Southern Fried Chicken, usually on Ubereats I am often left underwhelmed by the time it arrives but everything tasted delicious and fresh. Can’t wait to eat again.

I happen to stumble across this chargrill chicken joint as I was working in the area, mind you I’m not very fond of charcoal chicken unless it’s my local trustee Noble park or Clayton charcoal which does it for me with there golden cooked chips sprinkled with the right amount of seasoning never too much, last thing you want is golden chips ruined by too much seasoning best example KFC either no seasoning or too much!! Maybe it’s just my luck..
Noble park 👍🏼 —> seafood salad , fried chicken and the option of spicy flavouring charcoal chicken, as like how they do it in nandos +1.
Clayton 👍🏼—> fried rice in menu, fried chicken and again there fried chicken (boneless) but spicy goddamn!.
chargrill you guys had the right combination going straight of the bat! Lol. The chips was cooked perfectly golden crisp nice seasoning, charcoal chicken was incredibly tender and full of flavour can’t say too much about the stuffing though 😬 lol..

Incredible southern fried chicken. Perfectly seasoned, tender and moist yet crunchy on the outside. Doesn't need anything - no sauce or gravy. Exactly how fried chicken should be. I almost wish I hadn't discovered this damn chicken, because you can't eat that everyday and now I want it everyday!

Very pleasantly surprised upon stumbling on this take away shop when working in the area. Excellent service with a nice selection of sides which all looked very appetizing. Most importantly; I found the chicken to be tender and nicely seasoned. Definately returning for more next time I'm nearby.

Yep definitely the best chicken I've ever had and trust me I know my chicken! Eventhough I live in Keysborough (25 minutes drive) Im addicted to the chicken at Martin Street and gotta have it at least once again! Staff are too friendly and the food are very consistent! Been going there for over 2 years they have best Chickens i have had. The salads a fantastic, during winter the soup is perfect for a cold winters nights and also the vegetables are amazingly brilliant. The staff are the nicest people i have met and the customer service is 10 out 10 even when they are busy.

This is THE best charcoal chicken place bayside!!! Also my family’s regular for many reasons. The food, including all the chicken, salads and vegetables options are exceptional: fresh, perfectly cooked and super clean. Staff are amazing, accommodating to special food requests and just great people. Its our family go to and I also use them for catering now. Martin st, best kept secret for sure.

Im not normally a fan of charcoal chicken, it tends to be dry and chalky but this place has changed my mind. The chicken is alway delicious and juicy the chips and gravy is super addictive! They have a great range of fresh salads and sides. I high recommend this place I guarantee you won't every go back.

I have been to this a couple of times and tried out a variety of dishes from their menu and it was all a great experience! Their chicken was awesome and the burgers was amazing! I'm not a big fan of salads but they had a beetroot salad which got me coming back for more. The people working there were really friendly and servings was very generous. Two thumbs up!
My favourite chicken shop in all of Melbourne. Always so damn flavoursome and juicy. Chips are crispy and a great range of fresh salad, best coleslaw around. Great service and value for money makes this a winner in my book

Well, so it's a Charcoal Chicken shop! And it's pretty good. It's clean and the owners seem nice.
The chicken is pretty tasty and we'll cooked. The chips are fresh cooked, crunchy and we'll seasoned. The salads also look pretty nice.
They have a few tables inside and two on the side walk. Martin Street is a lovely place for a tasty 1/4 of Chicken and Chips on the sidewalk.
