Service was fabulous from start to finish... we were greeted with a smile, we started with a nice Shiraz from Beechworth Simao & co and complimentary bread and fresh butter. We ordered the waygu beef which was melt in your mouth, with potatoes in waygu fat with rosemary and sea salt and Parmesan slaw for main. The sweets were apple crumble tarts with vanilla bean ice cream. Rockpool also provided a small bonus cake with a candle for my birthday. Overall an excellent experience and highly recommended.
service was outstanding but after our drinks, the bill hurt lol.. lovely night
Had my NY dinner with my girls earlier this year and it was splendid. Food was phenomenal but service was unfortunately very poor for such a sophisticated place.

I had a great experience dining here on March to celebrate my 2nd anniversary with my bf. We got to try lobster omelette, wagyu beef pasta, aged rib eye steak and chocolate dessert.
The staff service was amazing. They’re very attentive, friendly, proactive in suggesting the dishes, and had an extensive knowledge of all the dishes as well.
10/10 would recommend for anyone to come here for a great fine dining experience, great food and excellent service.

My boyfriend took me out for my birthday and one word to describe this fine dining experience is perfection - so much flavour in every bite!
We ordered a few drinks to start of the celebration of my birthday: the Clover Club which was some gin with a fruity sweet raspberry element. So refreshing! We also ordered a Tiki Fizz (pineapple syrup soda) for the deso driver which was refreshing also.
We may have ordered a bit too much but we couldn’t pass on the various selection of their special steaks: The Rib-eye on the Bone was something out of this world. So much flavour and fattiness, which tasted amazing on its own as well as with the complimentary horse radish sauce. The scotch fillet, however, was somehow even better. The meat was tender and didn’t even need as much flavour to be the winner of the steak battle.
My highlight of the night was the marinated grilled King Prawns. I am very particular with touching my food with my hands and didn’t want to go ham with the shrimp but it fell right off the shell with the fork which was something I’ve never foreseen or experienced. The prawns were so juicy and the garlicky buttery flavour with the sourness from the lemon was something from heaven.
We also ordered the special Mac and Cheese which I absolutely loved as well. The creaminess from the cheese was to die for but also the crunchy texture from the bread crumbs or whatever they put on the top. I found it slightly heavy on the mouth, so I guess this dish is more tailored towards those who go ham with the cheese in their mac and cheese.
At the end of our meal, staff kindly surprised me with a tasty chocolate mousse cake. Not too sure if their generous gesture made the cake taste amazing but it was so creamy yet full of texture. It had the perfect amount of sweetness and richness.
I’ve fallen more in love with seafood after this experience and will be coming back to try the other mains and the bar options, especially the oysters!
Rockpool is beautifully elegant and classy in every way. From the professional service, to the menu and food options. I'd definitely recommend a visit for a special occasion or date night.
We ordered the scotch fillet, rib eye, the russet potatoes, mushrooms and the mixed greens.
Both pieces of steak were cooked to perfection and the scotch fillet was particularly mouth watering. The potatoes were crunchy and could taste the duck fat which was delicious. The mushrooms were so tasty, probably my favourite side. The greens weren't too my tasting, they seemed a little old school but finished them alright anyway.
Will definitely be back next time to try some of the main plates - the combinations sound great!
Amazing service and a great meal. Gave me a complimentary birthday cake
Great service, lovely and friendly staff and perfectly seasoned food. My partner and I had dinner here a few weeks ago and we were really pleased. The standout was the octopus - beautifully tender and juicy, perfect flavour combination. The house salad was also another standout - so simple yet incredibly delicious. I’m looking forward to returning!
Starters were good, nothing to boast about. The beef was so so so amazing! Great quality of meat, tender, juicy and was not overcooked.
The big down side to this place is the service.
Decided to bring my partner here for his birthday. As we enter the restaurant, the staff were not welcoming or friendly. They did not ask if we were dining for a special occasion or anything, no conversation at all. It was also our first time here, no one offered to introduce or explain the menu to us. We were also unsure of the portion size and did ask for help. However the waitress clearly did not understand my question, as we ended up over ordering which really annoyed me as i hate wasting food. I understand, they need waiting staff that can accomodate to customers that speak other languages. However, if they can't communicate, explain things and understand simple questions in English. Really? When they were clearing the table in between courses, again, no conversation at all which made everything so so awkward! For the price i'm paying to dine here, this level of service is totally unacceptable!
Still yet to decide if I will return to this place because of the nightmare service i received this visit.

Finally at last I made to Rockpool and the place did not disappoint! Atmosphere, service, knowledge, choice on menu , wine list, it was all there and I couldn’t fault the place ! Entrée of cold meats and Mussels were perfect, but the Rib eye was amazing. I love steak and this would have to be one of the best I have had ! For a special occasion you can not beat this place, unfortunately I can’t afford it all the time, but I will Definitely go back !!!
Went to Rockpool Perth for my bday and it was a great experience. So decided to try the Melbourne one for a week day lunch. It wasn't very busy, the sun streaming in was really nice.
Ordered pinot noir, ribs on the bone and mash potatoes & mushrooms on the side. $75 steak was really nice, so were the sides! Very full after that and didnt have any room for dessert. Good experience in general but wait staff can be more friendly.
A simple menu executed perfectly. A perfect setting during the day for a business lunch and as the sun sets, the ambience changes for a more intiment setting for couples, families and colleagues alike celebrating special occassions or just enjoying fantastic food and wine.
The steak are so good, the best I have ever had. Great service as well. The staffs are really friendly and know the menu well. The restaurant is located right next to the Yarra river and the view is excellent.
My partner and I had a lovely dinner at Rockpool. Attentive staff and delicious food. Some things a bit on the salty side but all-in-all a lovely evening.
4.5/5
Food was spectacular, everything was fantastic.
Service was very good!
Food came out fairly quickly.
Expensive but well worth it, you get what you pay for.
Rockpool is an iconic steakhouse in Melbourne. Nestled amongst the high end stores inside Crown Casino, Rockpool is well liked by locals and visitors. We came here for date night and ordered oysters, scallops and a steak each. The oysters were nice and fresh. My steak was really tender and flavoursome but Bae found his steak a little chewy as he opted for a different cut from the specials menu. The service here is exceptional though, our waitress exchanged our white napkins for black ones as she explained we were both wearing black and she didn’t want us to get white fluff onto our clothing. This was a first for me and I really appreciated it. Service throughout the night was attentive and we left with a great experience.
We began with cocktails. The Italian Sour was deliciously zesty and wasn’t overly sweet. The complimentary bread was fresh with crisp crusts and a warm and soft middle.
As an entree we shared the prawn tortellini. The goats cheese filling was perfectly paired with a burnt butter sauce and sultanas.
For mains we had the lamb cutlets and rib eye steak with mixed greens and rosemary potatoes as sides. The lamb was juicy and paired with authentic homemade chunky tzatziki. The steak was perfectly cooked and melted in your mouth.
Fantastic experience.
Took my family there for dad's big 60th- service and food were impeccable. The photos below don't do it justice (got lazy after a few and was dying to dig in so I forgot to take the rest of the photos). We had a few starters; he yellowfin tuna dish and the crudo of fishes. Had the marinated king prawns, abalone pasta (Which they portions into 4 individual dishes for us), barramundi, confit duck (was huge), dry aged rib eye on the bone, onion rings, mac & cheese, creamed corn puree, creme caramel and the famous rockpool pavlova. Every single dish was a winner- and dad also received a happy birthday cupcake on the house.
We couldn't fault anything at Rockpool even if we wanted to and will be coming back as regulars.
Food and drinks for 4 approx $480
Absolutely incredible service, ambience and food. Never ever disappoints! Would recommend for any occasion. Well worth the little extra dough!
This place doesnt accept booking between 7 to 8pm, but luckily there wasnt any trouble to get a table for 2 on weekday thursday night. We had a scotch fillet medium and pork for main and mac and cheese and onion rings on the side. Overordered for 2 people and could not finish the sides even though they were delicious! The pork was great but fillet was a bit chewy should have gone with medium rare. Onion rings were so crispy! The service was average for fine dining. The waiters can be busy and hard to get service at times. The ambience was great with open kitchen and can see the fire stands on South bank outside crown.
A name associated with great meat and it surely didn't disappoint. My steak was cooked beautifully, tender and juicy. Very satisfied. Sides were big portion, so make sure you order to share. They have a great selection of wine too. Staff were professional, they check up on us every now and then to make sure everything is okay. But they rather all had stone faces. Maybe this is their service style? It didn't bother me, just an observation. All of us ordered tea after heavy meal. However, the water wasn't hot enough and therefore the tea wasn't brewed properly. It doesn't tint the overall nice dining experience though.

Came here for a date night. Food is perfect. The steak was extremely juicy. The staff always check up on you to make sure everything is ok. It's extremely luxury and perfect place to go to for a simple dinner or a date. Great vibes here. Definitely worth checking out.
Came here with 10ppl to celebrate my friends birthday and spent $99++ include card charge.
The place so nice, well decor.
We start of with wine
Then having entrees, main and dessert for sharing.
Not sure what we ordered, the birthday person did, the service is good. She told us the portion and whether it is enough for 10 ppl for sharing.
The food...
i love the sauteed mushroom With garlic!⭐️⭐️ really tasty, really nice. Sauteed well just amazing
Other than that the dish is good, above standard :)
It was a pleasant dinner .
We had an enjoyable meal at Rockpool for my partner’s birthday.
For entrees we had the marinated grilled prawns and the wagyu sausages, which were both perfect. The prawns had a lovely charred taste and the sausages were of such good quality they tasted like steak.
For the main course I had the wagyu rump cap and my partner had the T-bone. The T bone was very good and perfectly cooked. The rump cap had a very nice flavour but was a bit too chewy for my liking.
We had the roasted potatoes and Mac and cheese for our sides. The Mac and cheese was excellent but the roasted potatoes were a bit boring and bland.
For dessert we had a chocolate/caramel mousse and the pavlova. Both desserts were very underwhelming. The pavlova was boring and lacked fruit, which I would say is an essential ingredient of pav. It only had a bit of passion fruit purée on top of meringue and cream. The chocolate dessert was better than the pav, but have had better at other restaurants.
Since it was my partner’s birthday, we had a little cake come out after the desserts with a candle in it, which was a lovely surprise.
Overall it was a lovely meal but would have expected some aspects to be better, considering the high prices.
A very classy and interesting venue. Food was delicious. Highly recommend their steaks. I’ve been twice and every time they’ve been cooked to perfection.
Service was prompt and professional.
I love the variety of the menu and can’t wait to be back to try more.
Generally have loved this place over the years. Consistently excellent steak, delicious sides and alternatives if you wish with an extensive wine list to meet anyone’s taste. Have loved the Mac n’ cheese (although they have changed this from the original formula), and everything from the pumpkin and sweet potato to the mash is delish!! I have adored the Mille feuille, the pav is a classic.
My only gripe is that this last time, I had probably one of the most average trifles I’ve ever eaten. The centre tasted like a tea-flavoured sorbet. There were a couple of peach slices and some torn panettone with a few slivered almonds, on top of some cream with nothing binding the dessert- no custard, no jelly, no alternative. And I look forward to the candied popcorn at the end but we received a half eaten bowl of them. It was just disappointing considering the consistently good experienced we’ve had in the past.
Anyway, still love it and will not be swayed. Will go back. Yum!!
This restaurant was so good. It is upscale with white tablecloths & fancy waiters, but if you love good beef this place has it. They have a great wine selection & several great dinner options. Nice atmosphere, great service, nice area on the Yarra River front. Reservations recommended (but we managed to get in without them).

🐚 MUSSELS OR MUSCLES? 💪🏽
Portarlington Mussels steamed in White Wine, Jamon, Parsley and Chilli served with Bruschetta 🐚🌶 @rockpoolbarandgrill 📍
I could probably sum this dish up in four words 🤔 "THE BROTH IS PHENOMENAL!" 🍜 this is easily one of the better mussel dishes i've eaten! And trust me, i've had a few amazing dishes 😉 glorious flavour punch! 👊🏽 delicious smooth seafood hit from the white wine steamed mussels that sets the body of the broth! 🐚 This is complimented by a sweet and salty explosion from the butter and jamon 🥓 which is finally finished off with a hint of spice from the chillies 🌶😍 simplicity always wins 👌🏽 grab the bruschetta and get dipping! 💦 you will not be disappointed in how good it is! 😎 i bet you you'll drink it like milk after cereal! 😏
☑ 9.5/10 for this ridiculously delicious mussel dish 🧐 only reason its not a perfect 10 is because i would have LOVED more bruschetta to soak up alllll that heavenly broth 🤗
💡 TIP - get on to the steaks and lamb cutlets too! 😉 oh and the dobsons russet potatoes sautéed in wagyu fat.... 🤤
Great food, great atmosphere, excellent wine matching. Goats cheese tortellini with burnt butter sauce and prawns is a stand out, as is the four tastes of the sea. Service is always impeccable.
Came here for my birthday and as you come thru the heavy door, you are welcomed with a dark interior which will then lead you to a big area full of tables that is well lit up during the day.
I was here on a Sunday so it was a bit quiet but I would assume it can get pretty noisy on a peak period.
We had two steaks, the Sirloin Wagyu and the 36 month dry aged Rib Eye. The steak was superb and flavoured very well. It is cooked on firewood so it has a very nice charred flavour.
Mac and cheese was the reason why we are here but I didn’t enjoy it too much but my partner loved it 🤷🏼♂️
Also sparkling water costs you 10.50$ per person whereas Coke is just 5.50$ so unless you drink a lot of water, just get Tap Water and Coke.
Rockpool was faultless from start to finish. The staff were all just delightful from the moment we stepped inside and made us feel like we were so welcome. And the food. Wow, the food was incredible. Cannot recommend it highly enough. If I could give it 6 out of 5 as a rating I would. It was a very special wedding anniversary for us and Rockpool did not disappoint.
Perfect from start to finish. Staff from greeters to serving staff on point. Food out of this world. The flavors kept dancing on my tongue. Ended on a very nice note. Lovely! We’re be coming back soon.
The steak was so tender and juicy. It was spot on with the taste and at medium rare. We ordered a few side dishes to share around and taste rockpool’s finest food.
The steak was spot on here. Omg it tasted succulent and tender. The service was exceptional. We ordered a dish to share and they spent the time to divide evenly for us and recreated it so it looked like a mini dish of its own instead of just piling the stuff on the plate.
Last weekend was the first time that I have dined at Rockpool, it was a great Sunday afternoon.
The food and service was excellent, I cannot fault anything. I especially loved watching everyone move swiftly around the open kitchen, everyone knew exactly what they were doing.
The highlight dishes for me were:
Steak Tartare with Hand Cut Chips
Scotch Fillet 300g (cooked medium rare)
Mac and Cheese
We've been here quite a few times and this time round we ordered their their spanner crab noodles and slow cooked wagyu which was as good as their steaks! The only down side is it took ages to get the attention of wait staff.
Excellent restaurant on the river in Melbourne at Crown. The service and food were superb. Even the tomato in the salad was fantastic. Wine list was very good too.
Oh My God.
Tonight I came here with a friend in celebration of completing exams. Walking in, we were astounded at the decor of the restaurant. The first thing you see is a picture with a cow. Beautiful lights, and black tall walls, open kitchen, comfy chairs and a large window overlooking the Yarra River.
We were shown to our seats (we had a reservation) and we sat next to the window with the view. We ordered two steaks (one sirloin and one ribeye) both cooked medium-rare. For sides, we had the Dutch Cream Potatoes Sautéed with Wagyu Fat, Garlic and Rosemary, boiled mixed greens with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Lemon and a side of Roasted Pumpkin and Sweet Potato with Garlic Yoghurt and Burnt Butter.
Everything was divine. The steaks were exceptionally cooked. We loved the saltiness and the lemon accompanied with the steak. The food just melted in your mouth. The potatoes were definitely a highlight of the night - you could really taste all the flavours and they worked so well. Pumpkin was soft and hot and the vegetables were a great accompaniment as well.
For dessert, we ordered the almond chocolate sponge cake and that was also sweet and yummy. The dish was very intricate and well-crafted.
The cocktail we weren't too pleased with but only because we didn't like the flavour very much but I was very content with my choice of wine.
An exceptional dining experience that I will never forget. I look forward to returning soon.
Impeccable service and sophisticated ambience, food was good. Staff were nice, approachable and not over attentive, they are pretty knowledgeable about their steak and help you find out which one suits your taste. We got their cape grim sourced ribeye with bone, waygu chuck with potato puree from the main and macaroni and cheese for the side to share. The dry-aged steak was beautifully charcoal cooked, tender and juicy with strong meat taste. I love their macaroni and cheese with adequate incredible cheese sauce, the macaroni was totally al-dentle! But sadly we were a little bit disappointed by the waygu beef chuck, it was overcooked completely to well done that made it dry and flavorless. Whats a pity...
Rockpool is synonymous with Crown and Southbank, and is a classic establishment in Melbourne's CBD. If you haven't had a night out here before then it is worthy of your next special occasion. Beautiful environment right next to the Yarra, and beautiful steaks. My favourite is still the ~$60 fillet steak I had on my first visit - which I think is the benchmark that I now compare all my steaks to. Sides and drinks are also on point. Not a cheap meal but definitely worth a try.
I have heard a lot of good things about rockpool’s steak, and it did not disappoint me at all. The steak was amazing! We ordered a scotch fillet and rib eye. The scotch fillet was with a little bit of fatty but perfect, very flavoursome. The rib eye was saltier, but seasoned well. The sausage was really flavoursome and juicy too. We also shared creme brûlée with blueberries where the little sourness of the blueberries balance the creme brûlée really well. Highly recommended!
Give me service , give me steak 🥩 give me the bill yes I was overwhelmed by it all the meal was great , wine list on point , service sharp , I expect nothing less at this venue thank you and good night 🙌
Booked a family event for the significant others significant birthday! Were placed in the Private Terrace which comfortably accommodated the 17 of us.
We were extremely well looked after by our waiter Michael, where he kept well on top of everything that was going on.
The food was excellent and had plenty of compliments from the guests.
Thanks to Rockpool for helping to make the night a great celebration.
Thanks to Renee for her efforts behind the scenes too to make sure everything ran smoothly on the night.
Rockpool is one of the few restaurants in Melbourne to offer beef from mature cows. Most people know what dry aging is and does, but meat from old cows (5 years and above) is relatively unheard of, and we believe is the next big thing to look out for. What one should expect from mature steaks is the extreme beefiness.
Dinner here was a simple affair. Cape Grim 60 months old, 23 days dry aged 350g rib eye served with Bearnaise, Horseradish Cream and a selection of mustards. I asked for an extra fatty cut, extra charred medium rare. Paired with an extra cheesy Mac & Cheese, washed down with a bottle of big bold Cabernet. The steak was on point, cooked exactly how we like. Extra fatty, yes extra flavour. Sauces and condiments were not required, but we appreciate the availability and they were done well. One small criticism would’ve been allowing the steak to dry aged a couple of weeks more to develop more flavour and tenderness.
Special mention to our server Micheal who looked after our special requests and every needs.
Happy days. We will be back.
Was lucky enough to get in at the Sydney site just before it closed. Was a beautiful night with probably the best table waiting I’ve ever experienced. I don’t think we ever had an empty glass of water, the they were very sociable people.
The food itself was scrumptious. Gives the feeling of an absolutely beautiful home cooked meal with all the love in the world but with a chefs touch.
Great experience.
My partner and I usually go to Rockpool for birthdays every year and we absolutely love it. Food is amazing, I love the beef silverside and my partner always has duck. The service is great as well. The ambience in the restaurant is beautiful.
I think you know what you going for when you are going to Rockpool. Steak! And they do it perfectly.
Great performance and great service.
Will come back for more.
Strong 4.5
Second time here and still loving the steak.
Service was much friendlier and more welcoming than our first visit, but what brought us back was the food!
We got;
Entree:
Clyde River and Coffin Bay Oysters
Glazed lamb ribs with Celeriac Remoulade + truffle
Main:
David Blackmore dry aged ration fed Wagyu 9+ marble Eye of Chuck 27 days
Cape Grim day aged 36 month old Rib-Eye on the bone 36 days
Again, loved the food! The quality was spot on and the steak is still on top of the list for us. My favourite of the two was the eye of chuck but my partner preferred the rib eye, however on our last visit he had an Angus steak which he liked more. We both enjoyed the glazed lamb ribs but won’t be ordering it with truffle again as we found the truffle tasteless and added no flavour. Oysters also tasted amazing and was full of flavour. Too bad we weren’t told which oysters were which.
Giving Rockpool a 4.5 because I feel from both times there’s been some things lacking. Won’t stop us coming back a third time though!
Incredible dinner had here. Ordered a few entrees with main meals be steaks and the meat was the best so tender and delicious. The sides were also great, would defs return!!
First experience at rockpool you will notice upon entry it has it's own entrance door which makes it feel really sophisticated . All the staff look very professional and it's a good classy restaurant overall . Food was on point amazing quality seafood we had the kingfish crudo and tuna tartare as well as a prosciutto platter . For mains we had a 60 month grass fed 250g fillet accompanied by Dutch potatoes and greens , will definatley be back !

Consistently amazing food. Forget Rosetta, this is and always will be the place to go! Do yourself a favour, get the Mac and cheese and goats cheese tortellini. If you see a girl licking the plate it’s me!
Perfect place for a special occasion! Set inside the Crown Entertainment Complex, the restaurant has a lively after-dark atmosphere which created the perfect ambience for a recent birthday dinner. The food itself was excellent and really does cater to all. The service was also top notch with staff being both knowledgeable and friendly. While the prices here definitely put this restaurant in the special occasion category, it was definitely worth the splurge!
Came here today for lunch it was my first time dining here, it’s a really lovely restaurant and has such a nice vibe to it. There is a big selection of food to choose from on the menu. We ordered the grilled calamari with chorizo hummus and chilli, rib eye steak, broccolini and mushroom as sides. The first dish came out quick, although it took almost an hour from when we placed our order for the steak to come out. After grabbing the waiters attention it (2 times) it eventually came out along with the sides. Would say there was probably a delay due to the restaurant being busy, but it doesn’t help when your hungry or in a rush! Will definitely be coming back here again to try out the rest of the foods on the menu :)
Place of choice for great steak, awesome service, special gatherings and just an intimate cosy dining experience to relax to with a glass of wine. Fine dining at its best!
This place is expensive and fancy but it is the site of some of the best steaks I have ever had. All the food has been next level along with the service. You can get 60 month aged steaks. What were you doing 60 months ago? Well some steak has been waiting for you for a long time and it is very tasty. You are gonna drop some mad $$ on this lunch/dinner but it's delightful. I have been 4 times now and look forward to a special occasion to return. I cannot speak for the mains as I will always eat streak when I am here.
Rockpool is me and my boyfriend's anniversary celebration restaurant, because it has the best steak ever!!! It has never let us down on any food! 5 stars forever in my mind! Couldn't recommend it more. However, last time we were there, the waiter watched us typing our password in for payment which was a bit awkward.
Worth a visit. Nice ambience, professional service and lovely food. Steak was exceptional. The main reason one would want to dine here. Everything else may not be outstanding but certainly very good. The baked cheesecake with complex flavours accompanied by the creamy distinct earl grey ice cream is recommended. This venue provides a sophisticated yet comfortable dining experience
Absolutely unforgettable. My partner and I were here last week for dinner. The wagyu sausage we shared for starters was delectable. Loved the caramelised onions on top! I had the 350g rib eye and he had the fillet for mains, both medium rare. Omg the steak was literally love at first bite. It was so full of flavor that keeps coming out as you keep chewing on it. The sides we ordered were the roasted pumpkin and the mac and cheese, although the latter was quite a disappointment. I saw many reviews here that said the mac and cheese was a must try, however it didn’t really hit it for us. I really wanted to try the creme brulee, but we were too full. Nonetheless this was a great meal, service was welcoming, and we’d definitely come back again.
I always love my steak cook to the perfection, here is one of the place you can have your meat cook to the way you prefer, paired with your juicy grape juice(wine). highly recommended just have steak not others type of mains. their entree is average nothing too special, a bit pricy and portions size is extremely small. dry age beef always is good choice there, strong meaty flavour, soft and juicy.
BEST. STEAK. EVER.
Rockpool is one of the select number of restaurants at Crown Melbourne that are actually exceptional and not purely based on hype and quality of location. Overlooking the Yarra River, Rockpool takes its steaks seriously and does not mess around. Scotch fillet with a few side selections, and glass of white was just a sensational meal. Well worth the price tag.
Bookings are essential!
The sour mocktail is delicious. Steak was less cooked than I liked but really great after they redid it for a sec. Overall Rockpool feels like a well-run establishment to me - not especially friendly or personal but things are generally well executed.
We had Caviar with Toast and Creme Fraiche (Ars Italica Osietra 30g), Buratta with Eggplant Carpaccio and Grilled Bread, Whole Grilled King Prawns with Herb Butter, Potato and Cabbage Gratin, Scotch Fillet and Rib Eye on the Bone 400g 61 days. The service was immaculate and the meat was absolutely divine. Probably the best I've ever had. Highly recommend and worth the price.
Has an old world 80’s charm and setting. Reminds me of these high end lunch places in India, my family used to take me to when I was a kid.
The staff is great! The service is quite fast paced considering they are a grill restaurant.
We ordered steak and one of the pork dishes with garlic. Both dishes were beautifully crafted for our palates and preferences! They did not take any half measures even on the kids menu. The Bolognese from the kids menu was superb. The meat used for the pasta was of great quality and was generously served. The desserts were good too. Although, the pavlova was huge in portion size and was served mistakenly to us. The staff made sure to not charge us for their mistake.
An expensive yet excellent experience. The venue ooses comfortable class from the moment of entry. The table service was friendly and efficient. The steaks were tender and cooked as ordered. The sides were beautifully presented. The drinks list is extensive. The wines range from reasonable prices to obscene with good selections from many wine countries and regions. A great experience.
I’ve been dining at Rockpool for many years . Consistent great food and professional service . I’m a huge fan of the comfortable seating always entices you to stay back for dessert and an extra whiskey / wine .
