I loved it, my breakfast which was the Lebanese Mezze Breakfast was absolutely delicious, I was full. The atmosphere was a buzz with fresh smells coming from the kitchen, the aroma of espresso coffee, a delight, and top it off I got to meet Masterchef contestant from series 6 Rose Adam which was a pleasure. I throughly recommend The Middle Store, give yrself a treat.
Had a delicious veggie burger with the addition of a lamb pattie. Thank you for catering for a Greek non vegetarian. Highly recommend you visit the Middle Store.
I had lunch at The Middle Store today with three friends and the service was so friendly...Rose and her family are just lovely!
The food was sensational- very tasty and freshly prepared. I had the Zattar man'oushe + roast vegetable and it was delicious!
We can also recommend the falafel salad, chicken salad with hommus, lemon cheesecake and cappacinno.
Most certainly worth visiting again, numerous times
A fantastic little cafe! Had the pumpkin hummus breakfast today and it was so fresh and delicious. The coffee was excellent also;?the best I've had in ages. Can't wait to go back!

The food here tastes as good as it looks. The hummus with the salads was the best I've had. We made a special trip for the deluxe hot chocolate was as amazing as it looks in the photos.

Visited this wonderful cafe all the way from NZ and it's food definitely made it worth the visit. Rose is delightful and it is wonderful to see her following her dream. All of the 4 meals we had were so tasty.

We loved it here today. We had lunch and tried the roast vegetable manoush and the chicken kofta burger. We also had some baklava, a salted caramel tart and a apricot polenta cake. We loved every bite. Fresh ingredients, great flavour, fabulous balance of flavours and expert seasoning. The cake portions are small- which we loved so we could try a few. Rose is a lovely person who is very genuine and great to chat to. Her family and staff are the same which creates a lovely place to be. We loved that we could book. Thank you so much- we'll be back soon.
Great food and service. Love their coffee. Had a birthday brunch there and everyone couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome and valued.

Its an excellent cafe with a very warm and accomodating owners and staffs. Its very nice to have a relaxed lunch with smiling people around you. But above all... The FOOD IS GREAT!!! Love the breakfast mezze!!! Will surely come back.

It’s nice to see a family run cafe on Winston Avenue. Friendly service and fresh food. I enjoy following Rose on Instagram to see the treats she’s cooking for the next day. The coffee is a tiny bit too bitter for me. When food is being cooked in the kitchen the coffee shop often gets a little smokey inside so I enjoy sitting outside/ takeaway. The vegan cupcake (pictured) was to die for (even for a non-vegan like myself), I savoured every bite!! Keep up the great work guys!! Will be back soon.
Came here for lunch with group of friends on weekday and we all loved it. The owners were friendly and service was great with very little wait for food to come out. I ordered the Beetroot and feta on ciabatta which was the perfect portion for a lunch meal and very tasty, and a cappuccino which was also great. Only let down was that they had run out of the soup special by 12:30!! Oh well this will give me an excuse to visit again :)
1st visit here for lunch today - and loved it. Had the Breakfast Manoush - scrambled egg, with tomato, baby spinach leaves and Greek yoghurt, on a toasted Lebanese flat bread. Very yummy but couldn't eat all the bread, as was so full. The coffee was just lukewarm but I still enjoyed it. Prices seem reasonable and as it's not in a main shopping drag, the parking isn't an issue. There is plenty of room on the street. Will definitely be back
The best savoury breakfast i have ever had! I had the breakfast Manouche and it was to die for! Quick and exceptional service from staff!! I will be back! I just wish they had coconut milk for coffee!! 😉

My favourite place for coffee - quality and hot! Bacon & egg bagel is to die for.
Pros; great coffee and food. Good prices. Friendly family staff. Cute setting/good atmosphere. Can reserve a table. Outside seating options. Not noisy - can hold a conversation. Parking not too difficult.
Cons; menu has specific flavour (not really a con, but make sure you've checked the menu out before you go because it's not standard cafe food, but it is delicious!) Not open Sunday.
If you are looking for quality food and delicious coffee at a very reasonable price look no further. Such a nice quiet and friendly cafe. Definitely recommend the bacon and egg bagel and their hollandaise, 👌👌. Very quickly becoming a local favourite!!
Affordable brekky! Cute little spot with breakfast/lunch options and often only spend $10 here on each brekky meal! Tasty specials - I recently had the corn beef jaffle with Jarlsberg and mustard and it was different and delicious! Will be back. Coffee is great. Rose from Masterchef prepares all the meals and her family serve out front and are very friendly!

The Middle Store, on Winston Ave, Clarence Gardens, has been a place on my go-to wish list for some time. Ever since MasterChef, in fact. Readers may know I do enjoy MasterChef, especially when a local contestant is doing so well. Former MasterChef contestant Rose Adam and her family opened The Middle Store while the 2015 series was still airing on television.
Run by Rose from Masterchef. Not a watcher of the show myself but my sister is a fan and lives within walking distance of the cafe. I met her here for a coffee and she ordered lunch, when it came out I had to have what she was having. It looked delicious! I was worried as according to the menu the kitchen had closed but Rose told me it was no problem to make me up something. Unfortunately as it was late in the day they were missing an ingredient, but Rose still whipped me up a special bagel using what she had.
Just had the Corned Beef focaccia and the semolina cake this morning. The cake was amazing and so fragrant of roses, the beef was savoury and worked well with the spiced sauce. Definitely a come back for next time.
Came in for breakfast and ordered egg and bacon bagel for $7.50 (i think or $8.50) and it was worth it. Very fresh and tasty. The space is clean and modern. The family own and run the store and made for a lovely environment!
Eating out every night rarely gives me the opportunity to switch on the television. I felt slightly embarrassed when I met Rose from Masterchef fame and failed to recognise her. Even more embarrassing, I got her mixed up with her sister, with whom I met the previous week. The Middle Store is a quaint little cafe located on Winston Avenue in Melrose Park. They specialise in healthy Middle Eastern/Lebanese food with all ingredients sourced locally. The menu is simple, as is the decor, with a small selection of food offerings to choose from.
Great coffee place ! Haven't tried the food yet but as it concerns coffee and sweets I recommend this place !!! Sweet and extremely polite customer service .

Small cosy cafe run by Rose and her family - authentic home made bagels and focaccia and yummy sweet things. My corned beef focaccia was a knock out and the coffee is from @coffeebarun is excellent. I will be back
The food and coffee here are fantastic, and the selection is excellent with something for anyone.
What really makes the Middle Store stand out however is the friendliness of their staff. The people working there were so cheerful and helpful that it gave it an awesome vibe.

Best lunch special ever... Pumpkin hummus add the halloumi. Wow fantastic. Great coffee too just a little more heat for my preference though. Will definately return. Did not realise until my wife said it is Rose from Masterchef...
