Review Pho Hoa - Melton

Nice Vietnamese place in Melton. Huge servings for the price, food was lovely overall and the iced tea and coffee were refreshing. Give it a try!

Unfortunately, I will not take my family to dine here again. All 3 of us ordered pho (2x special beef #28 and 1x chicken #31) and a plate of steamed dumplings last night. All of us had stomach upset and we all had to visit the toilet early this morning with my wife worse affected having to visit twice and having aches up to the time of this writing (which is lunch time). It was a nice gesture though from the restaurant to replace the chicken pho with special beef pho after my son found a small bug in his soup.

Best prawn salad I’ve had in melbourne - the produce was fresh, they were liberal on the decent size prawns. We were served quickly and efficiently and free tea - love it!

This is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in the West Melbourne so far. Truly authentic Vietnamese pho and I bet once you try it, you will get addicted to their food. Price is reasonable and worth every dollar you spend. Parking is the only issue if you visit the restaurant during peak hours. Complimentary hot tea is one of the best things about this restaurant as part of the Vietnamese culture. Plenty of good food to eat here. I would strongly recommend anyone to visit.

The food is fine and there are many choices. Good place to try

How disappointing. I've eaten here before but never again. I ordered roast chicken pho and chicken and corn soup. I didn't get the pho but a rice dish that was inedible and the corn soup was chewable. When I called to say I received the wrong dish I was told I could get the money back next time. I wanted to know how that would help me today. He said something about his eyes which I didn't understand. I threw out the inedible lunch and am advising caution. What happened to a good restaurant?

Amazing food , I grew up around St.Albans eating At many Vietnamese restaurants, I was a bit worried I wouldnt find the same around Melton since I’ve moved here but boy was I wrong. I found one even better ! Great food and great service. Especially the Pho!!

Generous serves, decent pricing, free thermos green tea…clean and well presented. Good service. 👍

The food tastes very good with the right amount of spice. The service is fast and very professional. Will go again and recommend it highly for a nice dining experience.

gave me the wrong order, the noodles were meant to be crispy and they tasted soggy. really disappointed

Friendly staff and great beef and meatballs Pho. The grilled pork on rice isn’t that great but we are usually there for the lemon chicken and pho. The only major downfall is that you have to order $30 minimum if you’re going to use Eftpos (living in the 21st century where hardly anyone carries cash!)

$95 for 2 adults and 2 children, I don’t mind paying for food but this place needs to make their portions more value for money. Ordered salt and pepper prawns, should have been called batters prawns. Little shrimp made to look huge with a load of batter. Still looking for a decent viet place in Melton
Was not impressed with the service, our order was stuffed up completely and it was the language barrier but also the attention of staff. Drinks were served at room temp. Food was good but there was hair in two of the dishes. Was okay value for money but don’t think I will go back even though I always give a second chance I won’t because of the hair and being charged for food we didn’t receive.
With the parentals trying out a newly opened asian restaurant along High Street. They had been here before and wanted me to try for myself. Clean and modernish place with super friendly staff.
Pho had flavourful authentic broth with the Bean Curd dish being the highlight of the menu; cooked to perfection-crispy on the outside and soft in the inside, not too overly salty and a different take on the garnish adding red capsicum instead of fresh chillies.
Cannot compare to the typical authentic restaurants in Box Hill and Springvale but Excited to see more asian resto in the Melton area that are slowly becoming credible. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
📸: Special Fried Rice, Chicken Pho, Salt & Pepper Bean Curd

Very poor experience at this restaurant. Food was tasteless and 90% filled with rice or noodles. Over priced for what you get. Did not enjoy at all

This place has just opened and has done well because food here is pretty delicious. Salt and pepper Calamari by far the best I’ve tasted. And who needs to travel to laksa king when you have great laksa here in Melton. Absolutely delicious!! Service pretty good too, friendly and tentative staff. Overall left this place very full and satisfied. Would Definitely come back in a heart beat. Nice work Pho Hoa!

Very hospitable and prompt. Pho and bean curd was fantastic. Room is well ventilated with aircon. We had a very good late lunch experience here. I will come back. When in Melton this the Viet place to be.

Best Vietnamese eatery in Melton. No need to travel to St.Albans anymore. The one and only proper sit down restaurant, unlike the others that are more of a food court or takeaway style place. Good menu, with most of the traditional stuff available. Nice friendly service.

Not great, you would get better and cheaper in Sunshine. Not a lot of Vietnamese cuisine and it’s mainly westernised Chinese. Nothing flash with the decor either
