Review Copper Pot Restaurant - Menai

Best Indian I’ve ever had. You’ll be happy with their food quality and service. Butter chicken has the coconut flavour that I had search for, for years. Sweet but beautiful

I love the food, quiet location, open set up and the polite customer service. The biriani was sooo good and of course the raita was amazing. With a glass of thick yummy mango lassi of the side, everything feels delicious. I didnt really like the tandori chicken though. The spices were not on point. Neither did i like the chicken tikka that much. It just doesn't seem that different from the tandori chicken. Will surely be back though. Thank you guys.

The food was fantastic! I never write a review but I was compelled to write one for this place just because so many Indian restaurants lack quality and are usually quite oily. But this place had exactly what I was looking for in Indian cuisine. It was clean, it was flavourful and it tasted fresh. I didn't eat in but when I picked up the food the restaurant seemed clean, simple and a nice atmosphere to eat dinner. Would recommend to friends and family :)

Customer service was polite & very welcoming. Myself and my family really enjoyed the food we ordered. All the flavours, spices were all there and it all tasted so amazing, we couldn't fault one thing. Thank you so much Chef and staff you guys are amazing. I definitely recommend this beautiful yummy place.

Copper pot is my local Indian restaurant, and I am glad that it is. I can’t say for myself that I have had too many experiences with Indian restaurants but the food quality is fantastic, the service is great and super friendly and the speed of the food is done is great. I would highly recommend anyone in the area to come dine in or even just grab food for takeaway.

The best butter chicken on this planet. The lamb cutlets are sensational!

I have been going to Copperpot for many years and it never fails to impress me with its great tasting food and lovely service. I've travelled all over Europe and eaten at many Indian Restaurants including restaurants along the well-known Brick Lane in London, and yet still nothing compares to the amazing food served at Copperpot. I highly recommend this place you won't be disappointed!

Wonderful authentic Indian restaurant.
Friendly staff quick service .
Although decor was pleasant but was lacking softer lighting and background music for a more intimate atmosphere.
Thank you for your hospitality Copperpot .

My wife had her birthday here last night
We had about 30 people which included children
They had all the tables ready inside and looked great.
The service was incredible and wow the food was outstanding
We even had a few people that haven't tried Indian before and they loved it all and commented how fantastic the restaurant was and would be coming back.
I would like to thank the Staff and kitchen for a wonderful evening

Was OK. Average for Indian food, goood service, overpriced, but then so are most places in Menai. We had the prawn entree, a vindaloo curry and a vegetable curry, naan and rice. The prawn entree was a good start, and we enjoyed the meal but probably wouldn't be back in a hurry. The interior seemed to need a bit more ventilation.

I am not sure what the other reviewers are on about .. We have ordered from Copperpot (takeaway and dine in) .. never disappointed. delish spicy blends, nice curries and service is spot on. 👍

I have no idea how these guys won their awards they display. We rocked in to an empty restaurant to find a chef who looked rather inconvenienced to cook us a meal, and a waitress who was not happy we were choosing to dine in an empty restaurant. The waitress didn't even have to do much, considering I placed our order at their counter and paid before we even took a seat! We received our meal about 20 minutes later (because they were so busy), and the food tasted as though it had been in a bain marie so unsure what the chef was doing. Whilst we ate we had the pleasure of the waitress and chef staring us down, I'm assuming they wanted to close and we were the ones who had dared to eat in their establishment. The food was mediocre at best.

Had a booking for 7 - 4 adults, 3 older children. Arrived right on the dot of 7pm - mains came at 850pm. We watched walk ins eat and leave while we waited. Food is awesome, but they really need to get their service together. At 930 we asked how long we would need to wait for dessert. "About 15 mins" - this was the estimated time to scoop mango icecream into a bowl. Hmmmm. Great food - but they can't cope with a semi full restaurant. Go on a weeknight.

A small little place with reasonable service. The food wasn't the best Indian meal out, but good value for money.

Prompt service and tasty food. Starters of Pappadums and sauces were nice with squid & mince samosa good. Would recommend the butter chicken. For drinks, get the lassi. Both the mango & natural were delicious. Would go there again.

One of my favourite restaurants and I can't believe it's in the shire! Have been here many times and the food is always good, service is interesting but always friendly. The vindaloo is wonderfully hot and the butter chicken is divine!

Not very Indian, Indian.. Unfortunately it seems new owners have taken over. We went for dinner and it was very disappointing.

The Vegetable Pakora was hard as a rock and dry. I would guess it had been deep fried earlier then reheated (for way too long). The waiter tried to tell us it was meant to be dry. Really?

The Lamb Madras tasted like Goulash, certainly not a curry and the Dahl Makhani resembled Boston Beans, with hardly any lentils and loaded up with red kidney beans. Not like any Dahl I've ever had, and Dahl is my favourite Indian dish. The other main, Chicken Tikka Masala, was ok but certainly not good enough to get our party of 3 to return for another sitting any time soon.

The funniest thing of the evening was the number of sizzling dishes that came out for the other diners. It felt like a chinese restaurant and everyone was ordering the sizzling steak. Perhaps we should have too.
