Review Rustic Rickshaw - Menai

I have 2 stars only because it is a nicely deck restaurant and the sweet and sour pork I ordered tasted quite good but I was extremely disappointed with the Dimsims. 1 way over priced for a poor quality. It looks like the dim sim was prepacked and not make in the premises even the scallop dumplings was disappointing hardly any scallop. I can understand if the quality of the food is good I have to pay for it. 4 dim sims prepacked for $9 is way over priced. I come to a restaurant not to eat prepacked food. Wouldn't recommend this place. At Menai and charging way too much. I went to Hurstville and the yum cha is so authentic and the dim sim is only $6.9 and it is filled with prawns and fish roe on the top. If you don't buck up your quality stop charging high prices.

The staff here are very friendly and attentive. The buffet dinner is great value and to be honest the biggest negative for us was leaving feeling like we hadnt paid enough for what we ate. Could do with some additional traditional Chinese options on the buffet only 2 options from a long menu list. However the prepared to order options were excellent and great value as part of the all you can eat buffet .

We went as a large group. The food was really good and the service is always exceptional. Very polite and professional staff. Excellent value and I highly recommend the rustic rickshaw. The service alone would be worth it but the food is a really good quality and very reasonably priced.

Have eaten there a few times, lunch only so far. Lunch special very good . Friendly staff. Good position. Clean and well laid out. Went there today for lunch. Now have new Owners. Food has also changed to Chinese not Malaysian and Chinese as before. Food was good as well as the service. So new menu !

We followed these guys from grandviews club at peakhurst and they didn't disappoint.. The meal was delicious as usual. And the service exceptional.. Highly recommended

Food lacked flavour, menu uninspiring and poorly executed. Kids at neighbouring table sang karaoke with a microphone they'd bought with them.

Friendly staff, average meals, quick taking orders very slow to serve
