Review Xing - Mentone

Good old fashioned Chinese restaurant that reminds me of my childhood. The sweet and sour pork, spicy salt and chilli calamari were delicious. Restaurant was unfortunately only open for takeaway due to being short staffed. Would definitely order again!

Not great experience given chilled champagne flutes for red wine we brought. BBQ pork entree was cold watery sauce sent it back then my main arrived before my entree that was taken back to kitchen. Mains came out just as I was chewing last of my entree both should have been sizzling plates they were both cold again back to the kitchen while fried rice sat on table going cold. One other table of 5 so not busy. Not worth $73 won’t be back😡😡😡

Absolutely Amazing Food !! I really don't understand the bad reviews !! Dumplings are definitely the best I have ever had (and I have had alot) ... Everything else we have ordered from thier menu has been perfect also .. Definitely worth a go 😀

Favourite local Chinese place, happy to modify dishes to suit you as well. I get the fried chicken ribs all the time - they're done with cornstarch/potato starch so good for gluten sensitive people - super quick delivery or dine in. Noodles are also always yummy - dry beef rice noodle or combination seafood with egg gravy. Lovely waitress and super friendly each time. I'd stick to the homestyle Chinese dishes as that's what they excel at.

Food tasty well presented fresh and reasonably priced we have so far ordered online and today met the owner in person, lovely personable and helpful with the menu , definitely recommend and looking forward to yum cha ..cheers to local businesses

All you can eat yum cha had good menu selection, nice food, portion size could have been bigger… but hey, it was all you can eat.

Great deal for buck. The all you can eat yum cha for 19.80 worth the visit. The variety isn't great, it everything we ordered was ranging from 'ok' to 'really good'. Not disappointed at all!
