Wonderful place. The food was excellent and the service even more so. The staff made us feel so welcome, coming up to us for a chat and to say hello... Insisting we try the wines to be sure we only ordered what we liked. It has been a long time since we have had this kind of interaction with staff of a restaurant! Thank you for being so welcoming!
We had the scallops and the duck. I really can't decide which was better... π The ice creams were interesting too... Wow, I didn't know basil ice cream would taste that good! π
Had the full breakfast and was very nice fried tomatoes, field mushroom, perfectly poached egg's and bacon and great coffee. Great spot to stop for breakfast. I am sure the wines are great too but was a bit early to give them a try π
We had a wonderful lunch experience with kids at the cafe. They have a cute playing area for kids and Coloring. The menu was well presented and had decent options. While food was being cooked, we tried the wonderful collection of red wines. There was no charge for it. And there was no pressure to buy a wine. Still we tried the 2016 Cab Merlot and it went perfect with the food. Food was delicious, specially the squid & prawns. Big enough portions. Really enjoyed our time there. It wasnβt too crowded and that was the charm to the place. The cafe seating area is surrounded by water and pond and green leafy vegetation. Really relaxing. Thank you for the experience. Surely recommend this gem of a place.

We ate at the cafe twice last week! The grilled fish and lamb chops were sensational. You have a great chef and the atmosphere created by the caring waitstaff makes it a lovely outing. Thank you!
We were a party of 4 on our visit to Woody Nook for lunch on March 6th. We were seated outside in an undercover area which was very pleasant. Three of the four meals chosen were enjoyed very much, but unfortunately the grilled fish was quite dry although the vegetables on the plate very nice. We were a little puzzled when we were asked to pay for our drinks separately when they were delivered to the table.
We certainly would go to Woody Nook again and found all attending staff very pleasant.
AMAZING wines of course. Had the tasting platter for two and was very generous and delicious. Friendly and prompt service too. Never been disappointed at Woody Nook. Highly recommend.
