My fav lil place to go for breakfast/ brunch and pasta. They make THE BEST Avo smash!!! All the right flavours, great size, generous portions, great price and also offer it in half size which is enough to fill me with a side of bacon and hash browns of course! ;) coffee is beautiful, staff are so friendly and lively...they have live music/ jazz nights occasionally and they have really nice pastas for dinner! One of my fav and humble places.
Great spot for an after work drink,.. I really must try and get in for breakfast soon.
The wine selection is top notch and the staff are very knowable... if only all places around town were as fantastic!

Lovely place in a good suburb. Honestly, the food is really nutritious, well prepared and well presented. Great management too + they have a great selection of wines. Check it out asap.
Been To Victorian Wine Centre a few times. No complaints! Great steak sandwich, cooked well..thankfully not tough! Fantastic selection of wines n some ciders! Not bad way to spend a weekend brunch in middle park! Satisfied!
Positioned in a nice area, great spot to stop for coffee. The staff are always friendly and always accommodating. Breakfast is always delicious. I haven't tried the wine here, but they seem to have a very extensive selection.
Grandly called Victorian Wine Centre I have always called it Middle park Wine Bar but nearly always gone for breakie! It’s a great spot and a clever take on the cafe meets bottleshop with lovely staff, great atmos and a divine menu!! I love the message on their website – it says it all for me! “Owned and operated by father and son, family is at the essence of our cafe. Dad and I have shared an interest in culinary delights for many years and the VWC is an expression of that passion. Our cafe in the Middle Park Village is not only the home of food, coffee, wine, and music, it’s become quite an institution in our sun kissed slice of Melbourne.” Apart from being incredibly accommodating for our little Xmas gathering (i.e. taking over half the place!!) the coffee is wonderful!! Can’t go wrong when you know a place can make a fine flat white for you!! So good I had to have another!! So breakfast / brunch is a mouthwatering affair with dishes such as banana bread with mascapone cheese & hone

Had breakfast with the family this morning. Staff were friendly and accommodating, food really tasty and super fast to arrive after ordering which was great. Coffee was the only let down. Outdoor seating on a sunny morning made the experience even better.
Great cake! (High price). Melbourne's CBD is a bad place to look for coffee on weekend mornings. Maybe that's because the brekky crowd emigrates back to suburbs such as Middle Park. Of a Sunday morning, the cafes here are swarming with plummy people who've got smug faces because they know the home they're going back to is worth more than $1 million.
The chocolate ripple cake I had with a flat white at Victorian Wine Centre was pricey, (within sight of $10) but not like those houses. It was SO good that I rate it as being worth the docket. It had three thick layers of white chocolate ganache separated by thinner bands of dark chocolate pastry that was crumbly like blenderised biscuits. There was a lashing of chocolate flakes on top, and the plate was decorated with drizzled chocolate syrup, whipped cream and a strawberry. It was too good for breakfast! But I'm not sending it back...
This cafe is one of the better brunch /breakfast cafes in Middle Park. Service is friendly, menu is very reasonably priced compared to its peers in the area. Served fresh juice. Baked eggs were ok - too many beans but 3 slices of sourdough toast was very generous.
Called in impromptu for breakfast. Friendly staff, delicious fresh brekky (blt and eggs tomato & sausage) and the tea was served beautifully. We'l be back soon.
Great bar/cafe/restaurant. They should change the name to 'Victorian Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner plus Wine, Beer and Spirits Centre'. So much more than wine here!
I usually go for either breakfast or lunch - and the food is amazing. Personal favourites are the BLT and the steak sandwich. They do good coffee and the staff are really friendly. They are also a bottle-o and have reasonable prices too.
Have actually been for dinner too. Great pasta! They do a pasta night on a...Wednesday? I think..

Best French toast in Melbourne!. I have been unable to eat any other French toast with any form of satisfaction after sampling the Victorian wine centre's heavenly version! With double thick cream and a side of banana, the thickness and texture of the bread makes it is absolute perection
The house eggs i had were amazing. Coffee came at the same time as the food which was ok but it would have been nice to get it a little before. Not sure how often the menu changes. We liked it there and will be back especially to try the iced coffee which looked awesome.
