Friendly little cafe in Middle Park. The food is decent but their friendly and mindful servers make up for it. A great place for brunch or just to grab a bite of some clean and healthy food. I ordered a chicken mayo cold sandwhich and a celery,carrot and ginger juice. Both items we great, I recently came back here and had a lasagne - AMAZINGGG. The menu could use a little sprucing up but otherwise do check out this cute cafe.
Love this place so much! We go there all the time because we LOVE the coffees (by far the best in Middle Park) and the service. I have soy milk in my coffee and they froth it perfectly - unlike heaps of other cafes! The owner is delightful and super friendly. The young, brunette waitress is so attentive and lovely, always takes great care of us. Our favourite is the Persian eggs - highly recommend! They are super generous with the avocado and fetta as well. Delicious. Could not rate this place highly enough! Our favourite.
Had a lovely welcome, almond milk is an option, which is always a brownie point for me. I had the home-made Cornflour bread with avo, mushrooms and poached eggs. Was yummy but will have sourdough bread next time.

Les makes the best coffee in town, the staff are always friendly, the food is all homemade and it's generally just a gret place to get a takeaway, or sit down and relax for a while. Best cafe in Middle Park!
Great place to go!. Love this cafe and highly recommend for lunches. They have a large menu to choose from and in particular, cater for gluten free / celiac people. The service is always friendly and most importantly - the coffee is great. I worked very close by for years, but sinced I've moved jobs, I often drive back over to Middle Park just to buy my lunch here, the food's always so good.

Equal Best Range of Gluten Free Foods in Melbourne. I like this place for many reasons, but initially went there for their extensive range of gluten free food (they do sell lots of non-GF foods too). They've got a wide range of gluten free meals and deserts, all made at their own premises. The prices are much lower than other gluten free stores. I like the way that I can see what I order as it's all on display in refrigerated cabinets. They have a very wide range of gluten free foods, things that I've not seen for sale anywhere else. Amongst my favourites are their GF Chicken lasagna, the to die for potato and chicken slice, a range of exotic meat balls (Thai, Moroccan Lamb, Italian), Italian fritata and a curious invention I wouldn't even know what it's called except to say it's a salmon and avocado salad wrapped in a very thin egg wrap (never seen anything like it anywhere else, but also to die for). They also have a small range of very fresh healthy salads.
WARNING: For those needing to lose weight, try to avoid looking at their wonderful cake selection on the left of the counter ... cos if you do, your going to find it hard not to get tempted by their wonderful GF cheesecakes, chocolate cakes, friands, Swiss rolls, meringue (can't write any more about their deserts as I'm salivating too much thinking of them right now).
I also want to mention for those a bit worried about how gluten-free their food is, or how well they control for cross-contamination ... I'm a very sensitive Coeliac, and have never had a problem there & find that all their staff are well versed in how to serve/not-to-serve GF foods.
I've found the staff exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and in fact one year on Christmas Eve there was some gluten free cakes left over before closing time, and the owner gave me a free gift of every gluten free cake they had left. I was stunned by this beautiful act of kindness.

This place is great! We’re not from the area and we stopped here randomly for a bite to eat and a coffee! Staff were so lovely and the coffee was fabulous!! I had a salad and rosemary pie and a caramel slice. All of which I would highly recommend! Looking forward to returning here again.
This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely cafe. We ordered, pardon me if I spell the dishes wrong lol but from memory, they're SHAKSHUKA and SPANISH something eggs lol the point is, both dishes were absofreakinlutely superduerfantabolous. Coffee was really great. I ordered flat white, it had bit too much of froth for my liking (sorry I'm fussy) but this gem of a barista gentleman fixed one for me in the second go, without even me having to order it. And my wife was looked after by another gentleman who brought her some extra toast which was beautiful, crunchy from the outside and soft from the inside. that's how much attention they pay to their customers. We absolutely loved our experience. Will definitely be back for the another awesome experience.
Great local cafe always busy and buzzing with locals for breakfast and lunch in a lovely village setting. Take away, inside dining or al fresco under the trees. I enjoyed the fish and chips, and salad options but the souvlaki and daily specials looked good. Excellent coffee, with roasted beans available for sale and different leaf teas - the almond chai was great. Plenty of freshly baked home made cakes, bread and pastries 😋
Such a great cafe that does an amazing coffee, great food (all prepared on site) and to top it off staff are very friendly and treat their customers like they’re family - Love that this is my local 💛

Perhaps there's a little more competition in the Middle Park village or "strip" these stays but this long established family run caffe and food store remains on top for mine. Among other things, they serve fresh food [with al a carte sandwiches, souvlaki's and fish n chips to name a few] and offer delicious take home options as well - all maintaining a very high standard. You can swear by the quality of the coffee too (and you can get one from 6am). There's a rumour the family has opened another caffe in South Melbourne near City Rd, I'm going to check that one out very soon.

It’s easy to pass by this place. On the outside it’s very ordinary, especially compared with some of the nearby place. Once you enter the whole feeling changes. The display of food is eye catching and the taste of the food I have tried is mouthwatering. The coffee is easily the best in the area and up in the top reaches of all of Melbourne. The staff are engaging and have some fantastic humour. When I’m in Melbourne I walk many kilometres just to get coffee and food from here. Nothing else comes close.
