Malaysian beef rendang was amazing! Great coffee too. They seem to do the staples like eggs on toast well, as well. Only gripe was the saffron rice that seemed gluggy and sticky - menu said saffron rice but I suppose we were given glutinous rice? Not sure. Can’t complain though, rendang + salad that came with it were delicious. Friendly enough service too.

Holger a trained pastry chef and his gorgeous and mind numbingly quick and efficient partner Shirley run a fabulous cafe . My fav is the French Toast with berries : huge serve overflowing with Greek Yoghurt and great mixture of Strawberries , blueberries and raspberries . The eggs in various ways also great , and the Spanish eggs a must if you like Chorizo . Fabulous smoothies and health drinks as well as great Asian mains . You can run a card for the coffees - and did I mention the muffins - ? Best in Melbourne . Go Now !! Do not accept cheap alternatives !!!!!!

Excellent Spanish breakfast. In my opinion the most interesting place on Armstrong street. Breakfast food is excellent. The Spanish eggs were perfectly baked in a rich spicy tomato sauce with chorizo, served with properly toasted Turkish bread. The stewed fruits -rhubarb and apples- served with unsweetened yoghurt were a hit: no added sugar, full of flavour, great texture, an absolute bargain at $9. Good coffees as well, and plenty of tables inside and out despite the small size of the venue.
