Went on a Thursday for an impromptu dinner with sister and mum after some shopping.Found this little place in a dark part of Midland. Restaurant is very big and nothing special in the way of decor. Service was a little slow. However the food was worth waiting for.
We had the curry puffs and satay chicken sticks which were both pretty darn good. Then we had coconut rice, chilli cashew chicken and satay beef. All so very good.We will definitely go back if in the area.
Great food, authentic and cheap too. The space is far too big for what they need but I’m happy to put up with that if it means top food. Had the standard chicken pad Thai and it was quality. Also had the oyster sauce steamed greens and some coconut rice, both were outstanding.

Lunch specials of $10.00 vegetarian, $11 chicken etc, $15 seafood and prawn. We had laksa, penang chicken and prawn chilli. All good sized meals and flavoursome. Drinks such as mango smoothie and iced coffee standard $5.00 each. Staff pleasant and attentive and the surroundings clean and tidy. Music not too loud. All together an enjoyable place to have an informal lunch.
Been there twice and the food is amazing!!! Cannot fault the flavours! Good service. We have only been there late mondays. Decor could need an update tho!would so recommend this place for the food!
Best Thai in Perth! Everything is super fresh and tasty love all the fresh veggies in all the curries. Lovely staff and reasonably priced. We always leaving this place raving about it!!
Great food but slow service. The pricing is very reasonable!
My partner and I dined here in Saturday for a quiet meal. The service was slow but when the food came out it was delicious! They don't hold back with the spice either if that's what you order.
We will be back. Food was amazing, portions perfect, everything tasted delicious. We had the garlic and pepper pork belly, penang curry, pad Thai and satay sticks. Lovely night out.
Only ever had the lunch special .... Quality food at a excellent price.... Been back several time recommend the panang curry friendly service and generous amounts of food
Excellent Thai really fresh and delicious. Well balanced and good selection of not too hot to good heat. Pork belly our favourite but great fried rice. Only small but quick service for dine in and take away
Awesome little restaurant! Not fancy, but It was cosy, friendly and all the dishes were just great. Well priced, affordable food and its BYO as well. I absolutely recommend this hidden Thai gem of a restaurant to everyone. They do take-away as well and going by the number of people coming in to the place, they must do a thriving business in Midland. We will definitely be returning here soon and will probably grab a take-away in between time.
As a regular it still surprises me every time they come up with constant quality food.
Highly recommend this. Value for money, great dishes every time.
First visit tonight when I picked up some takeaway and I must say it is the best Thai food I have had outside of Thailand. Really fresh, spicy and zesty the way it should be. Great tastes, fantastic food, so happy to have found another gem hidden in Midland.
The interior of the restaurant were nothing to write home about but it was pleasant and clean just not trendy that is for sure.
Oh wow. Where to start?
Firstly, I love this little restaurant. Have driven past it many times, it's not obvious from the road, that this is an absolute hidden gem that I should have tried long ago.
But it was well worth the wait!
And it seems to be quite popular with diners and takeaway orders.
The prices are incredibly cheap considering the quantity and quality. Although the prices on the listed menu have gone up a dollar or 2, I still think it's awesome value.
$97 for 3 people with entrée and desert.
The atmosphere is gorgeous for a small space, beautiful decor and I really loved the simple red elephant curtains on the front window. The staff also have great uniforms which add to the authenticity of the experience.
And then there is the food!!!!
So much yum. So much fresh. So much flavour!
All 3 of us were more than happy with zero complaints.
My chicken Tom Khar soup was out of this world delicious and a generous serve for entrée. Perfect balance of sweet, sour, salty and spice. I could go on and on... but I'll just leave it at - what a perfect soup and I'll have it again and again.
The other 2 entrées were curry puffs and coconut crusted prawns. Those prawns were on steroids, they were huge and perfectly fried with a lovely shredded coconut coating. The puffs were also delicious.
These dishes arrived quickly and all at the same time.
The mains arrived just as fast.
All massive servings aswell.
One of my fellow diners had a Tom Yum soup with extra chilli. And boy was that extra chilli intense!
The other had a soft shell crab with a papaya salad. So fresh and so tasty.
Mine was the crispy ginger shallot duck. With stir fry veg. They tasted of the beautiful fire they were cooked on and I love that.
The only reason why this is not scored a 5 is that my duck was a little overdone but this did not ruin my dish.
The coconut rice was equally delicious and I love that I was able to bring home what I could not finish and enjoy again.
I highly HIGHLY recommend giving this place a chance. You won't regret it!
So delish!
This was the best impromptu dinner.
Full flavour. Excellent take away portions!
Such great Thai! We will certainly be bringing our hungry tummies back!! ❤❤❤
3 of us called in on the off chance we could get a table on a Friday night, they managed to fit us in, given the business of the place that was excellent service.
The entrees of veg spring rolls and chicken satay sticks were lovely, with the spring rolls being fresh and the chicken satay being tenderloins on a skewer with a good dipping sauces to go with each.
Next was fried rice, seafood massaman curry, pork belly pepper garlic and Pad Bamee Beef. All 3 were bursting with flavour and delicious :) It was a struggle to finish all the dishes, but we did soldier on.
I would recommend Bangkok Noi to anyone and if your keen to go try to remember to book to be sure of getting a table.
I have eaten here many times and also purchased takeaway. The service is excellent and the restaurant very simple. The food is very fresh and light, with all those amazing Thai flavours and textures. The vegetables are always cooked perfectly. Duck spring rolls are tasty. The green papaya salad, massaman curry and penang curry are my favourites. I have tried almost everything on the menu and nothing has disappointed.
We are so lucky to finally have a fantastic Thai restaurant in Midland.
Second experience at Bangkok Noi, 1st time was delicious but this time we had takeaway and although the other dishes were lovely the massamam beef which I was so looking forward to was inedible. There were only 6 pieces of beef and these were tough and chewy, not at all like our previous experience. Very disappointing. Will return but wouldn't order the beef again unfortunately

Absolutely beautiful food. Fast service highly recommend garlic pepper pork belly..delicious
With welcome arms. I've had a dine in lunch and a take away dinner. I like that you are a small business. Your menu is nailed down to just a few dishes. Fantastic value especially for lunch. Green curry and duck spring roll done very well. One of the few thai restaurants in the area who hasn't gone nuts on the sugar in their dishes. Recommend to book if coming in even for lunch. Small restaurant and always busy.
We tried this last Friday and really enjoyed it. It's great to find a Thai/Asian restaurant in Midland that actually uses fresh tasting sauces - I'm often disappointed when I order something like Chili squid and it's basically squid with a bottle of supernarket sauce poured on it and heated. (You know who you are unnamed Asian restaurant in Midland - haven't been back to your place since spending $18 on your "Chili squid"!)
We had a very good prawn dish, some great spring rolls and fish cakes (what else?!) and an excellent Phad Thai - always a good test for a Thai restaurant. (I've eaten some terrible ones - again noodles with a bottle of sauce). This one was very fresh tasting and freshly assembled (rather than previously prepared and heated).
We normally head into Northbridge on a Friday for Asian food but this place was sufficiently good that we'll now opt for it at least once a month.
Good service also, nice set up decor-wise and a nice clientele.
Hope they're successful and it lasts.
Very authentic Thai Food. A very laid back restaurant in a quiet part of Midland. Food is very close to authentic Thai food. The service is exceptional. Unfortunately its only BYO, but who cares as the the food is great especially their Tom Yum Soup and Green Curry made the traditional Thai way.
Have been there twice, hoping to take friends over soon. Remember its best to call in ahead and reserve a table as it gets full up by 7:30PM.
Very unassuming, simple.... But seriously good noodles! Authentic with seemingly quality produce. Surprisingly impressed and will definitely return.
Hasn't missed yet. Had a few lunches and dinners from here and have not been disappointed yet. Speaking about it now, I think I will go there tonight.
Some of the best Thai I've ever had, I regularly travel to Thailand and I don't think I even had anything as good there!!
Excellent food and good service. Took my young kids today and the staff was very helpful. The food was excellent, lots of fresh veggies, quality meats and binrant flavours. Will go back there soon.
Something good finally in Midland!. Have had t/a 4 times now- each time it has been great! The chicken dishes are with breast. Cashew chilli jan and basil chicken are highly recommended- ask for extra chilli- reasonable prices too
One of the best thai meals I have had in Perth. A new restaurant in Midland and well worth the visit!!!!!!!!
Really good, throughly recommend checking it out.
New In Town. Very relaxed atmosphere in this new restaurant, comfortable seating and plenty of space so you don't feel cramped.
Staff are friendly and the food is pretty good too. The menu is excellent and has a wide range of dishes to suit most tastes - including a vegetarian section.
The curry puffs were nice and fresh and the seafood Pad Thai was tastey with plenty of fish, prawns, scallops and squid.
Definitely worth a look.
