Sat morning June 25, my husband and I sat down for breakfast and we were very much disappointed with the food. How very disappointing a results. I rang Sunday and ordered a large princess cake which would be picked up by my daughter in law at 11 am on Monday. We don’t have credit cards, the girl taking the order said she would tell the Monday staff to set one aside for us. Guess what “ oh sorry about that”
Arrived for dine in. Initial time taken for staff to acknowledge us at counter was far too long considering there were three staff who were basically syanding in front of us. Wow what a change. I previously put in a negative review for this store, but I’ve now removed it. It took a fair bit to convince me to give them another try, but I’m glad I did. We had breakfast Sunday morning. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. What more could you ask for.
Best Coffee in midland. Always greeted by the best team especially a young man named Tamati. He is an excellent barista and conversationist as to why I prefer miss Maud over other cafes in midland. He makes my day with his excellent coffee and kindness!
Had the mushroom bowl, came out almost immediately, great for a business lunch.
The sunrise drink is a great refresher on such a hot day
Recommend breaking up the bread roll into croutons for the soup.
The bowl can easily be shared between two people.
Cannot beat Miss Maud's for great service, excellent coffee and a choice menu as long as your arm. My favourite is the Princess cake, a close second would be the Black forest gateaux.
Extra charge for dine-in..
Ordered cake at Miss Maud Midland, handed the correct amount as advertised to the cashier, he looked up and said it was more money, i pointed out the price and was told, oh no sir that's the take-away price, it's more if you wish to sit here and eat..
