Very much appreciated the emphasis on fresh locally garden grown dishes. Service was exemplary, location pleasant (though looking out onto a carpark was a little incongruous when most similar establishments showcase their vines). Mostlly adult diners on day visited although the family at the next table was able to order from a children's menu for the younger guests. Food was a well-paced set menu with a series of dishes designed to be shared. With the solitary exception of the charcuterie offering, all were thoughtful in presentation and offered a considered balance of taste and visual appeal. The chocolate-coated chicken skin to end the meal proved to be a surprisingly delightful choice.
I went end of Jan 2022 and the restaurant was only serving drinks. It's a nice place and staff was very friendly.
It'll be nice if they also serving some wrapped snacks.

Brown Brothers was the last spot for wine-tasting before our journey came to an end.
This is a brand name most Melbornians and many Australians would be familiar with because of some amazing wine they produce but the restaurant restaurant's menu looked extreme promising so we decided to have a meal here.
Few dishes that we ordered were a hit such as the Clams, Broccolini, Emu Pastrami and Lamb Neck. They were simply fantastic.
Fewer one's were a miss.especially.the.chicken breast which was dry and flavorless, but what really disappointed us was the dessert. Looked fancy but failed to impress us....Only if the flavors were as unusual as the name.
What got them 0.5 extra is the attendant whose name we unfortunately forgot. He was quite warm, hospitable and recommended some good wines that went so well with our food. It was a Sunday afternoon, and we were seated on a table from where we could easily look to a counter in the indoor section where the entrance to the kitchen is....In case this would be helpful to locate the attendant (a slight resemblance to Ed Sheeran minus the ginger 🙊🙈)
We stay at Brown Brothers free RV park. So have a dinner wine taste they a walk back to your RV
Did the $15 Cellar Door and learnt a lot about wines and delved into what tastes I like and don’t like
Amazing food and great customer service. The wines and meals are always paired beautifully and the menu changes all the time depending on the seasons. They have everything from seafood, to lamb, beef, goat, and plenty of vegetarian options. They also cater to gluten free which is awesome. Lively atmosphere and open fire makes it super cozy. Will be back again as always
Well worth the 3.5 hours drive from Melbourne CBD! Wide selection of wines for tasting at the cellar door, and delicious modern Australian cuisine available at Patricia's Table, the fine-dining establishment at the Epicurean Centre. Go for the matched wine set! Take note that the porterhouse, although good quality, usually comes out more medium or medium well than the medium rare stated on its menu. Allow at least 1.5 hours for lunch (usually 2 hours for three courses).
Lovely atmosphere, great service, fresh ingredients, and a lovely menu. Beautiful weather certainly helps. Enjoy the clean country air and revel in the gourmet cusine this winery has to offer. 👍👍 Two thumbs up!
