201909 ah to be able to eat out al fresco again! Angie's dumplings has more than just their namesake. We loved the silken Japanese tofu claypot, relaxing the palate from the kung pow chilli chicken bites.
Hot and spicy soup needs more balance between the opposing flavours. XLB skin was a touch thick. Fried rice was plentyful with prawns

We came here on a Sunday after a long hike at Kinglake. The mall was quiet due to social distancing. There were plenty of seats at Angies dumpling. Service was quick and dumplings were tasty and well sized. The mains were huge, we couldn’t finish even though we were starving and took half our meals home for dinner.
Excellent food, very fresh and tasty, service was brilliant and quick. 5 stars will be back
Great Food! Would go back again! Service prompt and quick!!
All the dumplings are amazing especially the deep fried ones. They made from a scratch so they’re pretty fresh. The fish head tofu soup came in large size which amazed us. It tasted so good but quite a lot of MSG in there when you compared to other dishes. Roasted duck and the beef were quite disappointed though.
This is always my go-to place since it's so close, relatively cheap and never fails to satisfy :) We ordered the XO stir fried scallops and nasi goreng, both of which came out quickly and tasted amazing
The restaurant is very packed on Saturday nights, with a 15 minute wait on average. However, there are plenty of seats both indoor and outdoor with heating, making it a pleasant experience (especially when it's cold)
Service was good, staff were quite friendly (though sometimes it's hard to get their attention when since there's so many seats inside and outside)
It's a good place to go with family on weekend. Because it's locate inside of Westfield shopping centre. We love the fried rice and few meat dishes there.
Amazing prawn and chicken wantons with chili oil 😋. I’d also recommend their Wok fried chicken noodles and Soft shell crab. The prawn fried rice could’ve been better seasoned. Overall a pleasant dining experience with a special mention to the huge portions of mains.

Incredible food always. Would never expect such great food and terrific friendly service at a place connected to a shopping centre. One of my favourite places!
I love this restaurant. I’ve been here a few time’s but only got around to writing a review now.
They have good service and the food comes out fresh and hot. The food has flavour! I love the noodles - it is my go to choice. The dumpling are juicy and are packed with flavour. The fried rice has much more in it than other places and had a more authentic taste.
I’m already looking forward to my next meal.
This place is a pocket friendly Asian restaurant. Quick and good customer service. Chicken and shrimp wanton in chilly oil was a good recommendation. The Quantity is good and filling.
The food. The service. The pricing. It all comes together here. This is usually my go-to place when I'm at Westfield and I'm hungry. Love it.
Delicious, fresh, authentic dishes.
The staff were super friendly and approachable.
Nice atmosphere in the new dining precinct at Westfield Plenty Valley.
Angie’s dumpling bar is a trendy restaurant offering authentic Chinese food. Relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, quick service and most importantly they use quality fresh ingredients. Highly recommended!
I love the new restaurant district that has recently opened in Plenty Valley! I was craving chinese food after work and came here. I ordered lemon chicken and fried rice and my partner (who loves to find the spiciest thing on the menu) ordered the Sichuan style chilli beef in hot oil. The bowl was huge and very spicy, so he ordered a chocolate milkshake as well. I loved my lemon chicken and fried rice. Neither of us could finish the meal so we asked for takeaway containers which was happily provided. I'll be back for the dumplings!
I visited on 18.05.18.
Edit: I visited again on 15.08.18 and decided to try a mix of dumplings, we had steamed, fried and vegetable dumplings. I loved it. All the dumplings were fantastic and so was their lychee drink.
I was really surprised at how good Angies Dumpling Bar was! We ordered the prawn and pork womton in chilli sauce which was very tasty with plenty of filling. Lil bit sweet but i didnt mind it. The prawn hagow was slightly overcooked but the skin was still silky with fresh prawn mince. I thoroughly enjoyed the siu mai which had really juicy pork inside and the skin was just perfect for me. And lastly the xiao long bao. Ok ive had better but it was delicious none the less with good amount of juice coming out of the bao. The skin could have been a bit silkier though. Service was very efficient. They even noticed when my puppys dog flew across the yard and went to pick it up for him. Everyone was all friendly with lovely smile on thwir face. Food came out within 10min. Good amount of spaces, indoor and outdoor. Nice nee urban dining area in south morang. Def. Will return when i feel like some dumplings. Note though there theres actually other dishes on menu from stirfry to rice to noodles also!
First time here and everything was tasty and fresh. Tried the chicken and mushroom dumplings with a seaweed salad then shared the honey pepper beef noodles.
Only negative was the staff seemed in a bit of a hurry to serve us and clean up so felt a little rushed but otherwise all good. Will definitely be back to try more menu items!
