Review The Lounge Bar - Milsons Point

Kicking myself for not coming here sooner! Very tasty coffee! They use milk lab and Bonsoy milks which are my favourites. They have an extensive list of juices that they make fresh when you order them. The breakfast menu has all the standard things on it (bacon, eggs etc). I didn’t see any marked vegan options but there are veggo options, and given the service is fantastic I assume they would do something vegan if asked. The seating is comfortable, with a mix of lounge chairs and tables. This would be a good place to bring your laptop and work for a couple hours. Very relaxing atmosphere. The person who served us (Chung?) was friendly, fast, and helpful. Our drinks were made immediately and food came out shortly after.

Great coffee, friendly staff. I will definitely be a returning customer I am very happy with the service. I visited during lunch time and ordered a hot chocolate. They were busy but they acknowledged me and still made me feel welcome.

Visited here earlier today. Owner seems to be very kind but the cups, tea pots and spoon wasn’t washed properly. Guess it was due to under staff coffee was ok.

The breakfast was pretty ordinary, it said home made sausage and it was far from that , scrambled eggs was a bit plain and over done. No love and care taken with this meal. Won't be back.

It's good and they are open public holidays which is great if you're a coffee addict on a holiday weekend. the food is good just one thing though be clear what you are ordering because twice I went there and got something other than what I ordered. It was fixed straight away and very pleasant but if you're shy just repeat yourself. it's not going to wow you but it's pretty good. worth doing.

Pros: very quiet so there’s plenty of space for kids or prams. Convenient location near the station. Cons: The burger patties are frozen and pre made. The texture was like rubber and no flavour. The fruit Smoothies are basically flavoured ice cream with milk. A bit overpriced for food that aren’t fresh and using fake ingredients.

Came here for brunch with 4 others. This is a great place to stop by to get a coffee and some food, there are a variety of options all of which seem tasty enough. The dishes we got seemed to be freshly prepared and were reasonably priced. They have a really nice long wooden table inside with cool stools, really worth coming by if you have a large group.

Went there for breakfast and had the special poached eggs with salmon which was very nice. They have a sign to indicate that there is a surcharge of 1$ for orders under $20. However, i later noticed that they still charged me the 1$ for an order which was over $20.

Charged $2.50 for extra cheese on bacon & egg roll ...

I’m sad that I have to give an average review because the man and woman working here were sweet. The vibe and interiors don’t give much of an atmosphere. I had an açai bowl and for the price I was pretty disappointed as it was topped with a sprinkle of muesli, 3 slices of banana and one slice of strawberry. I want my açai bowl to be loaded with toppings. Unfortunately I will not return.

What a rip off 100 for a 2 person breakfast... rude staff. The food was incredibly average. The fruit juice wasv90% ice . I wont be returning

Terrible. Microwaved my croissant and the milk might be curdled. Would not go back again. The pies and sandwich bar looked stale. They could do with building a storage cupboard to put away all the boxes of product.

Terrible, we went for breakfast and were very disappointed with the lack of customer service. Staff attempted to give us the wrong order 3 times. Our 2 meals came out 10 minutes apart and one of our drinks came out well after we'd finished eating. They had no idea where the meals were supposed to go and randomly asked tables what their order was. Customers at tables around us were also very frustrated at long wait for their food. The food was only average and overpriced for a very basic breakfast menu. For a place with such lovely decor and a great location, this was such a disappointment.

I've been here about a dozen times. I love the decor, they've got some amazing furniture with a very chunky feel for what is probably Scandinavian.
The coffee is good and there short order breakfasts are adequate.
The service is prompt, they have no idea where the furniture comes from; I asked!

Lack of ventilator makes this coffee shop a turn-off. Who wants to smell like grease?
